Hi everyone, This is…read moremy first review on Yelp. I took the LSAT five years ago and didn't get the score I wanted. Instead of going to law school, I found other things to keep me busy and when my score expired this year, I decided to try and take the exam again. After looking through the different potential programs, I decided on Blueprint. I liked the web interface and their ability to track your performance on different questions seemed like a good idea. I had no idea how right I was. The course was two months and took place at the University of Washington. The class size was small enough so that the teacher, Chris, was able to get to know everyone. Both Chris and the Blueprint materials effectively taught the Blueprint method for all three sections on the LSAT. Chris was a great instructor keeping everything relaxed and relevant (by using comic real world examples) but also structured and moving forward at a brisk pace. We took six practice exams, but the course also offered an extra 11 exams that could be taken on your own. If that wasn't enough, one of the real benefits of the Blueprint method was the website and the data analytics. The instructors have created a database of questions and classified them based on a type and how difficult they are. That way when you get something wrong, you can figure out if you're getting the same type of question wrong and then drill to get it right. I found it very useful in targeting which type of logical reasoning questions I was weak on and which games I was having trouble on. All in all, I was very satisfied with my experience at Blueprint.

If you are reading LSAT prep class reviews on YELP than you have some concerns about whether it is…read morethe right one for you, and if the price is right. It is right on both counts. This curriculum is cutting edge, cost effective, and it puts points on the board. Plus, it helps you to figure out your own learning issues. If you have the desire to go to law school, you need Blueprint. It's not a guarantee of success but it will explain the process way better than you can imagine. Our instructor, Wiley, was the best!

We came to Sylvan with a very specific request to assess skill gaps in Math that we had observed at…read morehome. My son's school only does grade-level adaptive assessments that cover a broad set of skills and so we wanted to get an outside assessment that could be more targeted to the problems we had observed. Sylvan's diagnostic was a little expensive - about $150 - but that's OK to get what we are looking for. They did not complete the assessment as we'd asked. They performed a similar style of adaptive assessment as the school district does, so we got no value from that. I already have access to nearly identical diagnostics from the School district. They also did an English language skills assessment which we had no interest in. We only came here for math. Performing this test did not add value, it just wasted our time. Finally, the process took a week. By comparison, Mathnasium turned it around same day at no cost, and did an excellent job of listening to our needs and targeting the testing to what we were looking for. Overall I feel like I've spent a lot of money for something I didn't ask for, that adds no value to me as a customer. I would have far preferred if Sylvan had let me know up front that they don't offer the services I was looking for. They seem like a wonderful resource for general improvements across the board - but that's not what I asked for.

I freaked out and called aroudn to search for tutor help but not able to find any that I feel firs our needs. Then my coworker told us about Sylvan that her son has been attending. I quickly got connected with Pat who was super sweet and explained to me about Sylvan. The comprehensive test showed that my dtr need helps for reading and writting which also reflected in her school rpt. And my dtr has been attending since July 2022 and her scored has been improve tremendously. She is getting mostly A in her classes. We are very happy with the guidances ans supports that we have been getting from Sylvan esp the progress meeting every 3 months we get is really helpful. Thank you to Pat and all the awsome tutors !!!

You should research the industry to get an overall idea how it operates as a whole. It's tough!!…read more After one year, I called it quits because it paid so little for the amount of time I put in. I basically worked to pay off what it cost to take this class. They use Word and it requires a TON of busy work entering in patient data. Most companies use specialized software that makes it easier and faster to do. They need to step up their technology. The course work was pretty useless. They could do a much better job at preparing students for internship with a better curriculum. They give you absolutely ZERO assistance in setting up your computer and zero assistance on how to transcribe your first set of files. If you ask a lot of questions, you will be ignored. The computer is relatively easy to set up. They give you good instructions. The internship was brutal! They do a very poor job at preparing you for transcribing on their accounts, which frustrates the intern crew leaders. My intern crew leader was very nasty and took it personal when I made mistakes. She would make condescending comments on my work, not constructive criticism. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! You will also spend 6-12 hours a day transcribing files no matter where you go to school. After speaking to many MTs through blogs and forums, the INDUSTRY is notorious for ignoring questions... even just one or two (they want you to be completely self-sufficient). And your first crew leaders are usually pretty nasty. They're not teachers. They are MTs who want to make more money as a proofer or crew leader, so cross your fingers you get a nice one. I did get hired on immediately after internship and my crew leader was so kind and easy to work with. She was a complete opposite of the internship experience. YOU NEED TO BE FAST TYPIST!! I spent 8-12 hours a day on the voice files for over eight months. It was almost impossible to get really fast and finish it in real part-time hours. BUT, it can be done!! And they do not care. They expect you to transcribe 5000+ lines in a two-week period after three months. (With that said, most places make you do that from day one, if you can get a job). The things they do not freely tell you: - You could be on 1-3 month wait list to start your internship... even after you paid in full. - Industry standard pay is 7 cents per line. This company starts you at 5 cents per line for the first 3 months, and at the ONE-YEAR mark you can make 6 cents per line part time or 7 cents per line full time. - You WILL BE CHARGED FOR YOUR MISTAKES that your proofer does not catch. For example, if you type a dictation that is 100 lines and you misspell a name (technically one line or less than 1 line), they charge you AND your proofer .01 cent a line for the ENTIRE document, so that mistake will cost $1.00. After you get on your own, they charge you 2 cents per line for that mistake. (None of the MTs I have interacted with have ever heard of being charged for mistakes or getting paid so low). - They tell you that you will be responsible for transcribing 80 minutes per day, but that is 80 minutes accumulative over five days. So, you can get overloaded with minutes one day, have none the next day, but you are still required to finish the work in one day, even if you're not fast enough. The industry standard is to complete a set amount of lines, not minutes - 500 lines for part time and 1000 lines for full time. And most companies will let you do more if you want, but you have to meet the minimum. So, do the math - 5000 lines over two weeks X .05 per line is what you will make. You will actually do between 5000 - 5400 lines. - It is okay to submit late work (but you will be charged for it if the client charges them). You have no control over the amount of work they assign you. - You have to wait until noon every day to see if you are going to be assigned any work. Everything is due by 3:30 am the following day. You also have to wait for appointments sheets to be finalized and that could take most of the day, so, you have to work around them. Most companies have software that uploads the dictations as soon as they are done, so you can go in a upload your work at any time and work late nights/early mornings, and you do not have to deal with appointment sheets. - You get time off, unpaid of course. You have to request time off and summers/holidays are always booked. It is not a flexible schedule at all. - It seems like they have a high turnover, which makes sense by the way things are set up. - Direct deposit is $1.50 per check PROS: Guaranteed job after internship. Can't beat that! Nice crew leader. CONS: Poor interpersonal communication style. Outdated technology. You will be charged for mistakes. Work is assigned and is done on their timeline. No flexibility in time off. Low pay. They don't seem to care about their MTs as a whole. This is a cheap way to start a new career. Go to MT Stars and read as many blogs and reviews as you can.

Several reasons why you should avoid learning and testing here. Here are top 3;…read more1. They give different bikes for different users. Some are antiques and some are modern bmw sports ride. This will give some users advantage and put others at disadvantages the speedometers won't work on some so you are left guessing how fast to go. And they WILL FAIL YOU if you go too slow. So learn to read speed magically. 2. They ALSO test against the different bikes. If you are LUCKY and get a nice bike you Pass! If you don't, you WILL fail. Why? They won't say what the time limit is But you are tested against time. So all nice BMW bikes get to pass whilst all other bikes, most of them fail. 3. You WILL NOT be prepped for the test. The test has different criteria you should meet than what you practice for And just found out..PAY 50$ to retake endorsement test and guess what... they will TRAIN YOU for the test so you can have prestige runs till you get to a point where you can pass. Apparently this is not included in the Basic course worth 350$. Why? They don't have an answer. So expect to pay another 50$ and hope you pass then cause they got the money! Attached is the bike that won't tell you how fast it goes and sounds way too loud so you feel you are fast only to be told you are WAY too slow. It is not good at turning Or curves so EVERY other bike has shorter turning angle Except this and other these kinds.

After touring almost all of the preschools in Port Townsend and surrounding areas, I chose this…read moreschool for my two kids. The staff won me over with their love and dedication to this small non-profit tucked away in Port Hadlock. With minimal funding this school runs on a lot of love and help from the families who entrust this place for their childcare needs. The school has about 60 students total from toddler through 8th grade. The preschool is priced right and boasts being a part of the UW Early Achievers program. The school is founded on basic Christian principles, but is not overtly religious. At one point, the school was overseen by the Seventh Day Adventist church, but isn't any longer. As a hold over from that time, however, this is a vegetarian school. One of the only vegetarian school in WA! My kids have definitely grown to love vegetables while attending here. I've found the staff approachable and engaged and extremely loving and accommodating to families. I'm so grateful for this school!
