We sat at our table for about 10 minutes waiting, and no one checked on us, so we eventually just got started ourselves. I think a little more attention to first-time customers and better customer service would have made the experience much better, especially for the price.

Sadly, after i picked up my mug and took it home to have a cup of tea, it cracked when the hot (not even boiling) water was added. When I called and explained what it happened the person at the store just said that that "sometimes happens with pottery" and "the only way I could've avoided this was to get the stoneware glaze". They did not offer to have me come back in and redo a new mug. None of this was explained to me when I was choosing the glazed selections for my mug or when I picked up the mug. I knew one of the glaze that I picked was not food safe, but I was careful to put it on the outside. When I picked up the mug after firing, there was no paper insert with care instructions. So I guess I'll be going to a different pottery place to replace the mug at my own expense and asking more questions like "can I put tea in this tea cup?" next time. One star for spending $32 plus tax on a mug that broke before I could enjoy it and that no longer holds liquid. Buyer beware.
