I arrived to my beginner's pottery class almost 2 hours early due to transportation issues on my part. I walked into the studio and was greeted by Kim. I didn't even realize the studio wasn't technically open yet but they had summer camp for kids going on. Kim allowed me to sit and wait in the studio, which was very kind of her. Once it was time for class, I was the only adult surrounded by 6-7 children, which was not an issue at all. Kim was very helpful and descriptive throughout the entire pottery class which made it pretty easy to follow directions. Even with all the help from Kim, my bowl was less than pleasing to look at but it was fun to make! The studio was very clean and welcoming. They had relaxing music playing and they offer a variety of beginner classes. Pottery may not be for me but I never felt judged or less than because of my lack of skills. Owner keeps saying I threaten him. I INFORMED him I would be leaving a negative review given how little he cares about the situation. I spike directly to him and another women when showing up for the class we thought we had booked that was cancelled and he wanted to penalize us for switching to another date. This came after my pottery project not turning out well due to zero guidance on glazing and the lack of communication around my and a friend's fused glass due to their mistake. My bestie took me here for my birthday and we had a class with Angela. We made a bowl and it was super fun! I've never done anything like this before and I'm not super crafty. She walked us through the steps and it was a fun 90 min class. We made the bowl, dried it, and then picked out our glazes for a quick painting. I believe it was $30/bowl for the glazing/painting and firing on top of the class price. I can't wait to see our completed pieces! We drove up from Puyallup and made a day of it. Highly recommend! I purchased this through Groupon. My kids were very excited, I scheduled it for Sunday from 11:30-1:00 pm and I scheduled this time for a reason. He canceled my time and he changed it to 2:30p without asking first if it's ok. I politely asked why schedule was changed without checking with me first, he was very rude on the phone instead of apologizing and letting me know that the instructor is not available anymore but instead he was rushing me if I'm getting the 11:30 pm or not. I took the 2:30 pm anyway and canceled our plans for that day. My kids did enjoyed the class but the owner is not friendly and accommodating at all. I picked the pots last week and he just hand it and left and went back to the back and did his thing without saying anything, I was confused and I asked if I'm good to go and he said yes. The owner is very rude. I'll take my kids to other pottery class instead. read more

This place was rather fun! Beautiful ambiance, lots of unique, detailed art on the walls. It just felt good. The lady instructor was kind and very helpful. She explained what was being done, why and how. I loved the instructional videos throughout. I brought my Mom, and she hates this kind of stuff. At the end, she was rather proud of her creation. Had a great experience with one of the pottery classes here. The instructors were amazing and I'd definitely recommend swinging by regardless of your age or experience. There was a balance of guidance and assistance for those who needed it and enough freedom that you could do your own thing if you knew how. Also great to see a community-focused business like this one. I was able to get a Groupon which might be helpful to those who need the discount, but would definitely consider swinging by and covering the studio time directly next time I visit. My bestie and I took our first clay throwing class together here Using a pottery wheel is at first intimidating. If you read the studio's tips before coming to class, it will help you succeed at this class. Things like wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, cut your finger nails, etc. I didn't know that the class would take longer than 2 hours, especially if you plan to paint your piece. You do that after the main class ends. All in all it took us around 2 and a half hours from start to finish. Our instructor was one of the reasons the class was so good. We got Angela and I highly recommend her for this class. She's kind, patient, explains things clearly and is there to help you succeed. She possess a charm and a a balance between watching over you, plus not feeling like you're being helicopter instructed. At one point she jumped on my wheel and helped me center my clay because it was a little off. But she did it fast and in a very nice way. I didn't feel like a failure. The instruction goes between a video, and real life demonstration. Some of us work better with a video, and others (Like me) need to see it demonstrated in person. I sat right next to the instructor and so I got a great up close and personal view of the throwing process. If I had any complaints at all, it would be that I wish I was given a 1/3 more clay. My bowl ended up being pretty small, like a rice bowl size. Maybe the studio could give you a choice between the amount they give you, or for an additional fee, you have a choice if you want more clay? My friend and I both agreed that a little more clay would've been nice. But that's my only complaint. I brought a mirror because I watched a video that said it's nice to have a front view of what you're working on. I didn't really need that. If you decide to paint your clay, they have so many colors and enamels to choose from, the entire rainbow of colors as well as special glazes that explode glass and make pretty designs. Sheers, opaques, etc., just about any color you want. You do have to pay extra for that, and you have to wait, and come back after it's been fired. You don't get to take it home if you want it baked in their kiln. I liked that they have phone holders and allow you to video or timelapse your work. That was a nice touch. Summary: 1. You make a bowl for the first class 2. It takes about 2.5 hours 3. It's $30 more if you want to paint and have it baked 4. You watch both a video and get a live demostration 5. You get 1 on 1 instruction in parts 6. It's very positive, you get a lot of compliments. There's no shame 7. You can park right in front 8. They play very mellow, instrumental music 9. You'll want to follow their recommendations 10. Come with a positive attitude. FEELartistic has a great arty energy I'm so glad that my besite chose this studio for my first pottery class. It was super fun and I can't wait to come back, book studio time and also to pick up my bowl. Highly recommended!! 5 STARS! read more

I had to give one star, but if zero stars was an option I would have given that instead. We literally just left feelartistic and I have to write this review. We bought a Groupon, and the owner changed the time for our scheduled lesson the night before and emailed us to let us know. Unfortunately we didn't see the email as it went to spam. We drove an hour and a half and arrived at our scheduled time to a very rude owner telling us that he emailed us and there was no accommodations for that time frame. Unfortunately we had plans later today and couldn't wait two hours for the next class and had to turn around and drive home. The biggest issue was JG. He was extremely rude, aggressive about the situation and basically was yelling at me about how it wasn't his fault and how he emailed us etc. He was visibly angry and almost shaking with anger, leaving me, as a woman to feel a bit unsafe and like I had to backdown to him. My husband, son and friend were there as well and we left with no resolution. Would not recommend this place and now I have to reach out to Groupon to see if I can get a refund from this over priced pottery studio. (You had to pay extra to go on Saturday- you can see this on the Groupon site) Agro JG on a relaxing Saturday afternoon pottery class was not what I signed up for. Don't go here. Choose a business that values its patrons. Look at the different reviews. This seems like a pattern and could be a shady business model. read more

I purchased two Groupons for Christmas last year for a pottery class. Unfortunately, myself and the recipients didn't realize it expired in April. The recipients of the gift reached out multiple times (calling) to FEELartistic to see how they could use the remaining balance to book a class and received no response. My husband drove to the studio and was told to email the owner as he would have to advise on how to use the balance. 3 emails went unanswered before I said I would write a review about our experience and lack of communication or response from the business before we heard back from the owner. He provided the information we needed but we have decided to cut our losses and take our crafty time business elsewhere. Unfortunate. **I'd like to note that my frustration lies with FEELartistic and their lack of response when contacting about a Groupon we previously purchased. I understand how Groupon works as I have been using them for years. However, the lack of response from FEELartistic is bad business and to deflect to it being a problem with Groupon just shows their lack of accountability. read more

My boyfriend broke his leg and was on crutches for months so we worked very hard to find some entertaining things to do which required little mobility. We came across a wheel throwing pottery class here on a daily deal site. Even though I am constantly in Everett and have driven by here numerous times I had no idea this place existed. Even with the deal, it was still a very pricey experience, but it did get us out of the house and doing something creative. I've done wheel throwing before, very unsuccessfully, but my boyfriend was excited to check it out for the first time. This made for a nice date night activity. I felt like the class was presented very well, I enjoyed that a lot of the instruction was provided via video so it was very clear and easy to understand. Once we got to the actual throwing part the teacher was able to come and assist us as needed. My finished product turned out better than expected. You do get a bit dirty and may want to choose your outfit carefully, although aprons are provided. We later came back a 2nd time to paint our pottery (do note this costs extra and is not included in the daily deal price). You also pay extra if you just want your piece fired, but you don't pay for the painting until you are certain your piece survived the kiln which is a nice touch. The painting is done on an individual basis at any of the hours the studio is open. You can check the status of your piece on the website before you go in to paint. I'm not very talented but am happy to have a keepsake of the experience. read more

The concept is incredible. Being ran by different artists with different skills. My son and I took a pottery class here and it was fabulous! So I decided to bring a friend of mine here to try their glass class. The materials were super limited the instructor was hesitant to give us any tools or any new pieces of glass that we could be creative with. Then they up charge you for any shapes. It wasn't a friendly experience at all! Nothing like their pottery class! It was really awful! We only got the colors that they wanted to give us. We made our glass pieces and then waited for them to be complete for pickup. Unfortunately, a power outage caused his hummingbird to not mold in the way it was anticipated. Despite feeling less than talented at my first try, positive feedback was given, and in the 90 minute session, I felt like this was a lesson in letting go of things you can't control, and perfectionism. My friends and I bought a groupon and went here for a fun-filled weekend activity and we got one :) The teacher(probably the owner too) was very patient and knowledgeable. He explained us how to work with clay, the wheel and the technique. I liked how he emphasized on the technique rather than selling us on heating the item in the kiln and glazing it (This costs 20$). When I spoiled my bowl and made it into a plate (:P) he was not condescending and helped me shape it. They also let you use the studio for 1-2 hours for 15$ (not sure about the exact pricing.
