Izzy enjoying her Ancestry 6X Prey breakfast.

I attended the Feed Real Institute's DIY workshop on January 13, 2024, with Kay Stewart. I wanted to learn more on how to make the Ancestry 6X Prey diet. Kay was very informative and was glad to answer all questions. She gave me the confidence that I could prepare well-balanced fresh food meals for my Cavalier King Charles puppy. How to make substitutions, requirements for my puppy, and how to convert freeze-dried raw ingredients was extremely helpful! My puppy, Izzy loves her food, especially crunching the raw bones. You can also buy many good treats/parts of meals from them also, such as liver. Thanks Kay!

i have a 18month GSD malinois and have had RBD for more than half a year now. its a great company with more than adequate transparency about their treats and chews. its $40 a box a month for their treats and chews package. (smaller packs are $21 or $23 for treats only) they air dry things like liver, salmon, pig ears and many more natural treats. they recently went through an isolated incident where a customer had 2 dogs (30ish pounds each) who were fed A WHOLE TURKEY WING EACH , 1 of which DIGESTED IT FULLY. one did not and had problems that resulted in her having to take one of her dogs to the emergency vet and came out with a $1.6K bill. she was unhappy and reached out to RBD about asking them to pull wings off the box selection. RBD replied to which she did not like reply and hence, came an onslaught of unfounded attacks at the company. RBD posted a timeline of all correspondence and everything that happened since then (incl CANCEL CULTURE). LINK TO READ MORE https://real.dog/toxic-cancel-culture/ the recent and bad reviews about canceling boxes are because of this. this review is not to dissuade or persuade anyone from joining or canceling RBD. However, it is to inform. RBD is a great company. its value are what i appreciate . they inform in channels that are relevant and social. they tell us what they plan to do after theyve done their brainstorming and strategizing. but all companies (big and small) make mistakes. they are 5 years old. they dont just show the bad, they dont delete comments to appear ethical. they do what at they believe at their core is right, and i agree with them. no gimmick or ploy here. just letting you know that they are a GOOD company. they provide good financial value in their subscription boxes and also great training values for my dog. all in all, i still recommend this company and their products after their ordeal.

My dogs love these treats! I love that they are healthy in so many ways. I love the high quality and wonderful packaging for each chew. I believe the chew + treat box is a great value!

Yum Chicken Feet!!

I hesitated a little before ordering this box, since I don't know much about feeding bones and meats to my dog. But once I saw a few people receive their orders, I jumped right on it! Delivery was very quick and I was able to text the number to make sure the person who referred me received their free treat - and the response was almost instant. Only down side to the company, is the login process - it's a bit annoying to have to get verification each time I login instead of using a password. But anyways, my pups chew box included: Chicken Feet (his new favorite), Beef Trachea, Pig Skin, Pork Kidney(extra treat for using referral link) and Bull Pizzle (super chew add on). All have been great so far, especially the chicken feet, Otis is obsessed with it! Glad I finally purchased the box! I'm a little anxious of what Otis will be receive next since I'm a bit skittish lol.

Sniff sniff what are these.

It took about 2 hours and when we picked him up he literally looked like a brand new dog. His coat was sooo nice he smelled great, and the blowout was actually done right (which has been hard to find!!). Nail trim was clean too no rushing. What we really loved was that they kept us updated with pictures during the grooming, which made us feel way more comfortable!!! They also gave us a little report on how he did and if anything was wrong with his coat or skin, etc. which is so important to us ‍ We've been to so many groomers where our dog comes back still kinda wet or not fully finished but this place actually delivers. Totally worth the price!!We even ended up getting the membership which is definitely recommended if you ever go here.

Our dog smells so good and his nails are short but healthy short. I appreciate scenthound because they really employ those who LOVE DOGS. Here are some of the pricings and products they have. We have…read moretaken all of our animals there whether they were our precious Pomeranians house children) to working K-9 to my ADA/ADI service dog. The owner treats every animal with the utmost respect and accommodates any disability that the animal has. The owner goes out of her way to ensure every animal is groomed according to breed specs or owner specs. She has exacting standards and expects those standards to be upheld by her employees. Over these 25 years, I am in there often and regularly. I have seen the good (beautiful work), the bad (an extremely matted dog) and the ugly (an animal or person bleeds). I have watched her train some of her employees and understand the frustration of having to repeat grooming instructions day in day out with the same employee. When I see a subpar review, I go in and watch. What I see is an employee made seemingly minor mistakes that could have caused harm to either the animal they were working on, a nearby animal or the person working on the animal. The employee is then upset, when they get corrected, because it was a seemingly minor mistake, which they were repeated trained on, when the reality is either they or the animal was going to the doctor/emergency room. Not everyone is cut out to be an exceptional animal groomer and that is why if you don't want to be exceptional or expect exceptional go somewhere else.

She called me after two hours to let me know he was ready and complained that he "hasn't learned to stop barking". Anyone with any dog knowledge knows that puppies bark when they are under stress. During the phone conversation, we had a minute with a bad connection and I told her that I missed some of what she had just said because the phone had cut out. She rudely commented, "no, that was your dog barking." She proceeded to REPEATEDLY yell, "Stop that!" at my pup, while calling him by name...while I was LISTENING on the phone. Anyone with any dog knowledge knows that when a dog is stressed out and barking, the last thing that you want to do is yell at them. It only increases stress and therefore increases their barking. I immediately drove to pick up my puppy. When I got there, the lady at the desk told me the price, which was five dollars more than what we had agreed upon. I told her that the amount was $45 last month for the same service. She asked the owner, who rudely replied, "Well, it's $50 today". When I asked what the difference was, she told me that my puppy hadn't stopped barking & he had thrown up and she had to clean it up & do more brushing. I told her that I imagine he threw up because he was stressed and that I heard her yelling at him while I was on the phone, so I could only imagine how she treated him when I wasn't on the phone. She looked right at me & denied yelling at him. (I know what I heard) I would never take an animal to this woman again. Oh...and guess who hasn't barked ONCE since we picked him up?
