Our dogs are so happy to see Jessye. One of our girls wouldn't tolerate a nail trim at home, but is great with Jessye! Our Cocker Spaniel tolerated the groomer before, but now is so excited every time we visit. We are thankful to have found this pet salon! read more

Located on Escondido Boulevard, you cannot miss the sign. Parking available in the residential area. I called to make an appointment for my Peaches & their quote was fair compared to other places that I called. We met with Jessye who was professional, gentle & very friendly. Peaches was very anxious but she worked her magic & Peaches melted in her arms. She asked what I wanted & was transparent about how the cut would be due to her matted fur. I told her to do whatever she though would look the cutest. She told me it would probably take 3-4 hours & when she finished, she gave me a heads up to head on over. & omg! Peaches came out looking brand new! She was so adorable with her new cut, incredibly soft & smelled super good! It is always nerve wrecking trying to find a good pet salon with people who will treat your dog with kindness. & I am glad I found Cold Nose. I will definitely be coming back & if you decide to too, ask for Jessye! Cash or check only! read more

Laura is the best groomer we've had in a long time we have several other places we took our pet Nitro to get groomed and they were very disappointing. The cold nose is highly recommended. They know what they're doing many years of experience they listen to you and they use really clean organic products Once again highly recommend the cold nose for your pet. They deserve the best you won't be disappointed. With their services, we will definitely use them again and for years to come they did a great job grooming, my King Charles Cavalier were mobile services couldn't come close and they wouldn't listen to what I had to say when it came to scheduling, so that's how I found the cold nose through my chiropractor who uses them for his pets. I am so grateful for the cold nose, grooming salon. read more

Will definitely be coming back to this spot for both of my dogs nail trims! I took my pup in, who was so scared to be there (she is like this in the vet too), and the tech offered to come and trim her nails in the lobby so my pup could stay with me versus going to the back and being even more nervous. I really appreciated that! This place is cash only, so keep that in mind too! read more

Did not take my dog here. The employee that answered the phone said they have a strict age policy and my dog was too old (12) despite there being no disclaimer on their website what was more surprising is the website actually sounds like this pet salon caters to older dogs. Quote from their site "Jessie, has a particular knack for handling senior pets". Asked for recommendations of other salons and was told to just look some up. Not very helpful, would not recommend based on this most recent interaction. read more

Very tender with my 7 yr old Yorkie who hates baths. Beautifully grooms her each time we bring ber in.

EVERYTHING WENT AMAZINGLY WELL!!! She allowed me to bring my little girl in for a nail clipping at a moments notice. I told her I loved the way she talked to my Chloe because at 14 she understands every word. Cold Nose is where I will take her from now on. read more

Good groomer and can always seem to fit my little pups in. My only critique would be that they only accept cash or check which is definitely an inconvenience at least for me. Otherwise always a pleasant experience and my pups don't seem to mind. read more

I have been taking my dog here for over a year. They are great! Clean, nice, and my dog smells so good after. Highly recommended!

I took my Princess here for her first time today and let me just say.. I am beyond satisfied. I normally take her to a different groomer but they were booked three weeks out and I'm honestly glad they were because I wouldn't have found this amazing place otherwise. Amazing service! Princess looks so great! She definitely got the tlc she needed here. She even got a cute little bow. Thank you ladies for a great experience!! They do a great job grooming our little girl! Very caring and she always gets bows in her hair! These people really care!

Very pleased with the job Laura did on our two dogs. Previous groomers would forget to do things or trim things like ears unevenly. Laura is truly an artist, a beautician of dog hair. The way she layered our dogs hair and trimmed evenly ears was appreciated and we're still commenting on it. Thanks Laura! read more

We needed to start with a new provider and with our 'slow to warm up' dog, it can be scary ... for both of us. The comfort and ease with which the Cold Nose staff put me and my dog made it painless. She was so calm that my tension evaporated. We've been back once so far and had the same excellent experience. And, our Maltipoo looks beautiful! Cold Nose is our new salon. read more

I tried to get an appt for my 4 poodles ,and was told it would be 3 weeks out, my poodles could not wait, so I said thanks, she took that as a booking , I ended up having foot surgery that kept me in the hospital 9days , upon comming home the owner called and said I had a booked appt and if I couldn't make it she could no longer take my dogs, she charges a premium price and I always tipped for the dogs, she has no sense of customer service and was rude and inconsiderate of my situation, I do not recommend this place unless you like, rude and inconsiderate people who think they are the only place in town, I would highly recommend Cathy's Canine for all your pet's needs.. read more

My pup is shepherd/husky/chow chow, which means tons of fur that I don't want to have to blow dry off of her. They did a great job with her! read more

This place was there to save the day! My groomer has been unavailable and my poodle's hair was getting a bit out of control. My friend referred me to her groomer Cold Nose and it actually was way closer than the groomer I was using. I called and they took my pup in right away!!! They did an incredible job! Everyone always thinks my dog is a boy and she finally has a girls hair cut! We will definitely be back! read more

Laura at Cold Nose has been exceedingly kind and gentle with my senior dogs. It has been great knowing she is there for my dogs.

Husband and I just moved to Escondido about 2 months ago and our dog needed a groomer, badly. So after doing my research I found this cute little groomers place about 5 mins from us. Walked in and was greeted by the owner herself and my gosh it smelled so good in there despite all the dogs and it being a dog grooming place I kid you not it smelled like a bath and body works. Anyways, I left my dog there for most of the day, came back to get him and he has never looked so handsome! My dog has had a traumatic past so he is quite the wiggle worm but despite him being nervous he looked so sharp and smelled so clean! Was very impressed. Also, the owner? Amazing human being. I did not know it was cash only and was about $10 short, she trusted me to bring back the $10 another time and I sure as hell did the day I got paid. She's an amazing human, and now our family groomer! Couldn't recommend this place enough!! read more

Great prices. Great service. It was out first time at the cold nose and it seemed to be a good sign that it was busy and had limited bookings. My dog rusty loved it and was fresh and clean. . read more

We have a miniature schnauzer we have had her groomed at Cold Nose for several years. Laura is now the new owner and has done Coco all this time. She is very professional at grooming and so loving and in tune to all the animals that she takes care of. Today when I picked up Coco I thought she could be a show dog even though she's 11 years old. She pranced and walked around at home like she was a show dog. Thank you Laura! read more

They are busy but excellent. I have a Shih Tzu and Bichon and they both were great. Average price and on time!

I am a very happy customer. :-) I took my 13 week old golden-doodle in for his first real grooming with Laura. I called ahead of time and spoke with someone who was very friendly and informative and then I had the same experience in the shop when we arrived. I didn't even recognize my pup when I picked him up. He looks and smells great and is getting compliments everywhere I take him! Thank you Cold Nose for the great experience for us both! read more
