Christa did an impeccable job on our Pinto. She went, in fact, above and beyond. She clipped his nails, brushed his teeth, trimmed him (partly by hand); washed him with some kind of lovely shampoo that leaves him smelling fantastic --- and here we step outside "average groomer" land: Can I just tell you she gave him the best Mohawk, dyed it, and dyed his tail too :) We never did that before! It turned out darling. Christa is very communicative. She has an instant pet rapport; though he was shaking when I left Pinto clearly was made comfortable during his grooming. The price was reasonable and she was super accommodating schedule-wise. We've definitely found our forever groomer! read more

I can't say enough about Christa and her gift of dog grooming! I brought my big buddy Banks in for a groom for the first time and I was a little nervous for him. He's only been groomed by one place since he was 4 months old so I wasn't sure he wouldn't be anxious. Since Christa only does one dog at a time in her perfectly set up in-home salon, she gave him all the love, attention, and affection he needed! When I picked him up he was GORGEOUS! Today I dropped off both my pups with Christa and I'm definitely saving her info for future use. My dogs are my babies and I tend to be a bit nervous leaving them but Christa was so warm and welcoming and my dogs gravitated toward her so it set my nerves aside. With them being 50lbs and 80lbs as well as their breeds being high energy, it can be a challenge. I was in desperate need to get them groomed with a flea bath since I had a flea land on me earlier in the week and needed to wash everything and bomb the house. She responded quickly and luckily had availability to get them in. When I picked them up, they were so clean, beautiful and happy. The absolutely best thing about Christa is the way she treats and cares for your pet. She doesn't keep them any longer than necessary. She's kind and wants to know about your pet. Our Maggie is a rescue and has been through a lot so it makes me happy that she doesn't have to go through more when she goes to see Christa. She grooms one pet at a time and doesn't start another until the first one is gone. I have never understood why it would take 4-5 hours to groom an 8 pound dog that gets groomed every 6 weeks. I have bathed and groomed her myslef and I know how long it takes and Christa was right on. I was going to one pet salon that raised their prices every time I went. Another was a mobile unit that told me the price and then when she finished tacked another significant fee on for coming to my house. Three groomings later she raised the price another $30!
