I seen an exhibit like this when it initially toured the country, way back when in Pittsburgh. While in Vegas, and on some downtime after a very busy day, a colleague and I decided to take in the exhibit at The Horseshoe. We started this by securing our tickets online. It's the easiest way to do so and makes checking in here so much easier. They scan your QR code and then you are set on your way to go about the exhibit at a self pace. However, do be mindful if you show up towards closing hours. If you happen to be in the exhibit when it closes they will find you in the exhibit and escort you out whether you have finished seeing all there is to see or not. I will have to say that this is much smaller than when I initially saw it. And I cannot compare this to the other exhibit located at another casino/resort. But it gets everything in that should be there. You walk through the body and all the systems held within. Seeing parts of the body that you may not recognize. Each exhibit within has descriptors that will clue you into what you are looking at. Some of my favorites were the circulatory system and nervous system. One of the creepiest exhibits is the skin. Hanging behind a curtain, it just looks ghostly. After you have viewed the whole exhibit you come back out into the gift shop area. Trinkets that you would expect to find are available here. Check the prices and signs around some of them as when they ring up they may not reflect what is marked or posted.

Displays of the human anatomy [Las Vegas NV] I'm not sure if this is the same exhibit as the one in Luxor that we also visited many years ago but this Real Bodies exhibit is located on the lower level at the Horseshoe (formerly Ballys). The displays are preserved real human bodies, specimens, and art installations. For me the exhibit I found most interesting was the comparison between a smoker's and non-smoker's lungs. That's powerful stuff and some visitors have chucked those smokes away in a clear glass case. Let's hope to have that case filled. Real Bodies did a great job in displaying the specimens and we found them both educational and informative. Like did you know babies are born with 300 bones, while adults only have 206? Where do they go!? And that the average speed of a sneeze is about 100 miles per hour? whoa... please cover mouth when sneezing. The Wall of Bones exhibit was modeled after an Ossuary. The catacombs in Paris are the most famous example of an Ossuary. The Love locks on the fence was interesting too. I was more interested with the exhibit than my hubby was, who found them morbid. Located in the Horseshoe Casino Real Bodies was definitely my favorite! It's a display of human bodies illustrating various aspects of anatomy, medicine, birth & death. Mind blowing is an understatement!

If you are in Vegas this is a must see and currently on display at the Horseshoe Casino. I learned so much about this fragile vessel that we call the human body. To learn how it works from the womb to the tomb was absolutely amazing. They also have an app where you can listen to a guided tour or go and just read on your own. They also have a bar across the way but if you go to the early Real Bodies tour at 11am be prepared to not go to the bar as it opens at 1pm. The staff is so helpful and cool and willing to share their knowledge about the exhibit.

An amazing experience. I loved it. The fetal was a little jarring to see in person, but this whole exhibit was tastefully done. I would fully recommend everyone visit.

I had a wonderful admiring the intricate and precise cadavers on display, especially as someone who has very recently participated in dissecting a cadaver personally. They do a wonderful job of being able to see everything clearly as well as labeling the more obvious structures. I appreciated the layout based on certain body systems as well as the descriptions of each. I would definitely come again the next time I am in the area!

This Exhibit really opened my eyes to how fragile our bodies are. There are so many individual components that are packed tightly inside of our bodies, and they all work together simultaneously to keep us alive, strong and healthy. Although we mistreat our bodies day in and day out, our bodies are mostly capable of regenerating and healing itself over time. It's pretty awesome to get a chance to get up close and personal to see and learn about the human body in all its glory. Located in Horseshoe Hotel/Casino (Formally Bally's), the Real Bodies exhibit is very easy to find. Just follow the signs. If you are driving, the parking garage behind Paris is the closest, it's roughly a 10 minute walk after you've parked. Locals can park for free up to 3 hours, and non-locals get free parking for the first hour. As for entry tickets, you can either buy your tickets online, or wait until you arrive and buy them at the entrance. Locals get a discount off of the ticket price, so make sure to bring your Nevada ID to get your discount. The exhibit is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Although these are "Real Bodies", the displays are very informative and you really get the feeling that each body was handled with dignity, respect, and thoughtful consideration of how it would be displayed. I visited shortly after noon on Monday and there was no crowd. I spent almost 2.5 hours here reading and looking at everything thoroughly. Some people trickled in and out while I was here, but it never got crowded during my visit. Overall, this is a great exhibit if you're interested in learning more about your own body. I'm not in the medical field, so this was my crash course on the human body and all it's functions. I don't recommend this exhibit for children under 13 years, as some of the contents might be disturbing for them. Highly Recommended!

Overrated. The exhibit was extremely small and not worth the high admission prices. I went to something similar years ago in LA Science Center, and it so much better than this one. Some of the stuff on display was cool, but totally not worth the price of admission. If you can get discounted tix, it would be better. Still not good, but better.

I've always liked the bodies exhibit. I went years ago when it was first here and again with family. There's something about the way they show you just how incredible the human body is. While I would love more informative facts as the original had, this exhibit was great to. Not very crowded and a walk yourself tour makes it easy to go at your own pace so you can focus on the parts that are more interesting to you.

I totally missed this exhibit when it was here in LA, but of course since I'm in Vegas all the time I was super lucky to see it here at Ballys. Thank you Caesars for the Diamond reward perk! This place is located downstairs, just follow the signs and located right next to the escalators. It's pretty much a self guided tour and there is a lot to see and read. If you intend to read every single signage, you'll probably be here at least 90 minutes. We skimmed through some and read only the ones interested by us and that took 45 minutes. There are so much to learn, but my favorite is the cardiovascular system. There was a body here that was divided in three lengthwise that I found particularly educational. There were monitors that connect the bodies and the covid connection as well. Parking in the shared Ballys /Paris lot. BTW there is an EV charger there on the 1st floor you will not see on Chargepoint and pretty much anywhere else. To all electric car drivers, it's our little secret okay?

Great exhibit ! I've gone to the other bodies museum in Luxor twice so when I saw this one was part of the Go City pass for Vegas I just had to go ! So many fascinating bodies and facts on display. Wasn't a super large space but we visited on a Friday around 7pm and it was empty. So maybe everyone was out drinking and not wanting to learn body facts ? lol If you're looking for something to do on the strip that's not drinking/clubbing/partying. I would def recommend checking this place out.

This was such a n interesting and eye opening exhibit for me. I walked out of there looking at things completely different . I enjoyed how everything was explained so well and it's fascinating to see how our bodies look and can work from the inside . I will admit it creeped me out but I kept wanting to learn more . Get ready because it can get DEEP!

During my trip to Vegas, I decided to try out the Real Bodies experience at Bally's. It was definitely interesting to say the least. Here's some quick pros/cons of the experience: Pro- Such an awesome learning experience! Seeing the human body and literally everything that happens inside of it was simply amazing. The information is also pretty digestible (no super difficult doctor language) and the journey throughout the exhibit is almost like a "journey" through life. Kinda tough to explain, but once you experience it you'll see what I mean. Cons- It's more so bittersweet then it is a con, but seeing these real human bodies exposed, dissected, and presented like that left me a bit sad. I know it's for a good cause, but given the history/theories of where these bodies came from and similar situations that have happened in our country and other places in the past, the experience did leave a bit of a eerie feeling. Aside from that, the exhibit was good and unlike anything I've ever done before. Can't say I'll do it again honestly (just because of the eerie feeling) but that's just my personal preference. I would definitely recommend it if you've never been before, so you can make the decision for yourself. Lastly a few friendly tips: - check Groupon / Las Vegas Go passes to see if they have any deals for the exhibit and other experiences. It'll Save you some money. - if you have kids, be ready to do a lot of explaining because they literally have EVERYTHING out. Do with that as you well. -the exhibit is a short one, so take your time when you go through. If you read the information and get a few good photos, it should take you maybe 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!

It's easy to walk through and not overwhelming at all. We went last Friday and it wasn't crowded which made it even more enjoyable for our 3 year old son. He especially enjoyed coloring his own mythical creatures, scanning them, and then watching them come to life on the big screen. We also loved the star raindrops exhibit and seeing all the impressive colors. It took us about two hours and we could have easily stayed longer. We enjoyed a beverage at the Arte Cafe towards the end of our experience, which was fun and interactive. Our son loved drinking his chocolate milk while watching the balloon in his drink. It was so cute. The staff were very friendly, well-organized, and helpful. They advised us that if we want to pay extra for the Arte Cafe that it's best to buy it at the main entrance of the museum for $5 per person rather than at the cafe which was $7 per person. A few things I would recommend: - Use a Groupon deal if possible. We paid $48.99 per person for NV residents. Our son was free since he's only 3 years old. - There's valet parking at city center where there's an escalator that takes you directly to the entrance of the museum. It's $15 dollars for NV locals. - The only restroom at the museum is at the main entrance so be sure to use it before going through the exhibits. I highly recommend visiting if you enjoy immersive art. We will be back for sure!

I will say that I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how much material they packed into this tour and given that it is almost 3 hours, you really do get a lot of bang for your buck. There is a free parking lot attached and as many will point out this is not in a great part of town so if you are visiting during the night it is best to be driven in and out versus walking in and out. They do not allow photography inside so I only have a few pictures from the beginning of the visit, but I would definitely recommend to anyone because it is a really fun experience and it is also very unique. As mentioned I don't believe in any of these things so it was even fun for a non-believer like myself. Overall, a really fun Vegas activity and I would recommend to anyone, and if you are a believer it is even more of a memorable experience I would imagine.

Fast forward to now, and I've been to the OG House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe twice, Omega Mart twice, Radio Tave in Houston, Convergence Station in Denver, and I look forward to checking out the Grapevine Tx and LA locations. So, all that to say, I'm a fan! And so far, Omega Mart has been my favorite. I absolutely love the grocery store and all the humorous products in front, and I fully enjoyed all the areas to explore through the soda fridge portal (and other ways back). I like the art installations and various rooms at this location, y'all there's a Laser harp... I mean, come on! That's cool. It shocks me that this location has a 3.6 rating, however it is likely the most visited Meow Wolf of all the locations due to being in Vegas, and not everyone is going to "get it". It has reached the tipping point. The funniest reviews to me are the ones where people said they were bored, like right away. How?! There's quite a bit of content to absorb and so many details, many of them hilarious. My senses are definitely tapped into, in the best way, at Meow Wolf and I appreciate that. After all, as Dorothy Parker said "The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity." Coming to any Meow Wolf with the intention to explore is by far the best way to approach it IMHO. There are generally storylines that can be followed at each location but I like to wander and see what I see. Thanks Meow Wolf for building & making such cool spaces for people to love it or hate it. But either way it's an interesting place of art and a welcomed break from the mundane way of seeing reality. I have no doubt I'll be back to Omega Mart next time I'm in LV. Maybe next time I will get a boop card and follow the storyline to experience the space differently than before. Plus, there's a speakeasy bar called Datamosh that I missed the times I was there, so I'll look again and stop in for a drink for sure since I loved the interdimensional honky-tonk dive bar hidden inside the Meow Wolf Houston, Cowboix Hevvven.

I don't know if we just missed stuff, but the boop card wasn't that interesting because we didn't have the time to go through every single employee computer. However, I did not have a good experience with Meow Wolf the business. I had a very small window of availability in Vegas because I was only transiting through for a very short time, and I was really excited to check out Omega Mart. First, we bought tickets for one day. Two weeks after the purchase, Omega Mart sent me an email that they had decided to open later on that specific day and rescheduled us to their new opening time. I asked for a refund, stating we could not make that time. They refused to refund me at first, telling me to just change the day I visit. I think not refunding immediately was poor on their part, since not everyone is from Vegas or in town long enough to be able to accommodate when they suddenly decide to change their hours. Next, on our last night in Vegas, we realized that we actually would be able to squeeze in a 2 hour visit from sometime after 9 to their closing time at 11 (we originally planned to spend the next day, our last day in Vegas, there). Around 7pm, I tried to call Omega Mart to figure out logistics (how sensitive the ticket windows are). However, the phone number on their VEGAS website redirects to a line in DENVER that has different hours. So we figured it would be safest to just buy tickets after we got there. Apparently after 9pm tickets shoot up to $75. That's wasn't posted anywhere, and since no one had picked up the phone, I had no way to learn that information. The way I learned was arriving at 9:03 pm. Sad.
