i'll admit they aren't the worst. i had a water company that didnt clean out their old bottles very well and that was nasty. they do give good water, and they come on their scheduled time. that being said - they increase their price every other month, i'm used to getting letters saying they are increasing the charge for x. their site is very hard to use. and it's nearly impossible to update ship date. many times i wanted to move the date closer (which is only good for them because i'm buying more products quicker) but 90% of the time all the dates are blacked out, or they want to charge like $12 for this. and i see the trucks all over my area, it's not like they're not already coming to my area. i think their software is so outdated that they just dont know how to handle these changes. for the amount of money i was spending on water (currently would have been over $1,200/year! i expected more accommodation. so in summary - not the worst water company, the water itself is good, delivery was good, but the prices are getting completely out of hand and very hard to work with if you need any kind of revision read more

Is one star the lowest number available? The ReadyRefresh delivery people are great. The people who help you when you call about problems are great. It's the business itself that is atrocious. I think they must recruit top management from people who got fired from the DMV. Simply dreadful. It didn't used to be this way. Many months ago the service was fine, then their management seemed to abruptly go off the rails. Perhaps the company changed ownership. We couldn't reach them for months to adjust the account. Finally, after about a year or more, they again answer and the call center people are nice, but the business policies are infuriating. If I could find another water delivery company I'd do it today. We've had so much trouble with them that I've sworn to defame them at every opportunity. The current problem is that evidently, the only way you can order is to get is a fixed number of bottles per month regardless of how many you already have. That is, unless you go online and change your order. Which is idiocy--why can't they just replace the empties? We now have 10 5g bottles with more to come next week. So why not change it? Because you can't modify an order if there is a billing problem, and it's impossible to fix a billing problem when there isn't one. No payments have ever been declined. The card is fine. (I'm looking at it on the bank site and ReadyRefresh right now.) The call center person agrees. So I put in a new card. Yet I still can't change the order because it still thinks there's a problem and nobody is authorized to fix it. So I've been on with them for hours and had to upload a new card. But they still decline to let me change the orders because of the non-existent billing problem on the old card. So I'll spend a good part of the afternoon on problems entirely of their making. The water's actually very good, but the service, since Primo bought it, has jacked up prices dramatically. The water is expensive, the web site is slower, and the delivery is now $15 per visit, on top of higher water prices... and one of the five gallon jugs had the cork floating in it. I cancelled my service online and while they never acknowledged by email, I noticed they scheduled an empty-bottle pickup, so I guess it worked. It's very disappointing because before Primo, ReadyRefresh worked well, was reasonably priced for the service, and had excellent water. When I called them to restart the service. They were doing it when check how much it will cost us . Lady did about $17 a 5 gallon although it is available in the store $9.99 a 5 gallon bottle. It is available in shop rite, stop & shop and other farmer's market. read more

I have been a customer for years because I need the service; there is a monopoly, and options for water delivery are limited in my area. At times, they don't even bother to alert us if there's been a schedule change. The expected delivery just never arrives. The past few years it has gotten worse, and to cap this off, the last two deliveries this month have been the worst. Now the boxes arrive filthy, and the water gallons are also filthy, so I am wondering where on earth these are stored! They apologized, but I wonder about the sanitary conditions of the distribution center. This is very disturbing. Ready Refresh is the worst. If there was a minus star. That s what I'll give. Total bait and switch when I was introduced to the program at BJs. I called and waited on the phone for over an hour and the agreement that was made by the Customer service was not upheld or even written down. Billed me some incorrect amount again I called again, waited 45 mins. Transferred and waited another 20 mins. Told them to please close my account. Come pick up their machine and give me a final bill. I paid the final bill and asked them again to cancel my account. They deactivated it instead and billed me again for the coming month. Ordered thru Costco. Thought I was getting a deal.ordered the water unit and 6 gallons of water. They said they would set it up and show me how everything worked. I ordered because the trust Costco deal and would I would not have to lift water any more. I 73 years old an retired. We'll they delivered it to my apartment door in the hallway. They did not ring my bell or knock on my door. I opened my apartment door and saw half the hallway loaded with bottles. I called Primo and they gave me a hard time ii told them to take it back and cancel my order. Well a month later they were still billing me. I called them on the phone and it sounded like they weren't going to refund my money. I card my credit card company they took back my money. Afterwards they refunded my money and did not notify me. 2 months later I now got a bill for $20 more then the original bill. They never told me about the refund nor did they notify me about this situation. Now there's a late fee. Never saw a bill. I was told it was taken care of. Now they just keep charging. On a recent occasion, they even marked my order as "delivered" when nothing ever arrived. They charged me for my order. It was supposed to delivered on a Thursday. They said delivered failed Thursday 6pm because "no one was there". I live in a building with a 24/7 doorman AND 24/7 front desk concierge. I asked them about it and they both said no one showed up for delivery. Then it was rescheduled to the following Saturday. The service is absolutely horrible. Primo merged with Ready Refresh by Nestle of which I have been a customer for 20 years. While I have experienced a few issues in the past nothing comes close to this past month. I was expecting a delivery last month, mid July. My order was rescheduled 6 times from July right back to August. As of now, I still have not received my order because it was rescheduled. Nobody called me. I had to do the calling and go back and forth with them. The escalation supervisor that I spoke to reached out to my branch and told me they were backlogged 9000 customers. He managed to get them escalate my order and commit to a delivery date. Once again, it was rescheduled even though I received text notification that my order was out for delivery. I'm done. I discontinued my service after 20 years. I am not valued as a long time customer. They don't care about losing me when they have 9000+ customers. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Ever since Primo Brands took over ReadyRefresh the service has gone from acceptable to terrible. After reading some reviews I can say I am happy that there has been no problem with the actual water but getting the water has been ridiculous. Multiple rescheduling,. falsely reported deliveries and the latest was dumping three five gallon bottles in the building lobby in front of the mail boxes instead of delivering to my floor. Of course, they did not pick up the empties. An inquiry to customer service was given a response that there was no request to pick up the empties. I am also startled to see that Primo Brands has taken over for many routes including Costo Water delivery. HORRIBLE AND FRAUDULENT. Avoid at all costs!!!! OMG the absolute worst mistake of my life. The first few months of delivery went fine, and then THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY (in addition to missed deliveries, deliveries left outside front door which of course got stolen, etc.). I was charged multiple times for "missed payment" ($80 per charge) even though I had an Autopay set up with an Amex card that literally had a problem in my entire life. I called to protest the charge and of course went nowhere. I CANCELLED my account multiple times and finally it went through after the third try, but 3 months later they are chasing me for ANOTHER MISSED PAYMENT, plus $40 late fee. Forget about getting your delivery in suburban/rural Philly suburbs on time! We had only the first 2 deliveries go well. Since then, every delivery has been delayed or rescheduled. Customer service is in the Philippines and they have no ability to help. This last no-show delivery was rescheduled 8 times, not able to get here over a month, so I cancelled the service. I went and looked at 1pm and they said "next delivery July 10." If i can give them 0 start I would. Their customer service is TRASH! They reschedule your delivery without notice. They dont notify you on the reason of why they have to rescheduled. When you call the customer service number get comfortable because you will spend so much waiting to speak to somebody. I just spent 30 minutes on the hold just to speak to somebody. This is so unacceptable and professional.
