My team consisted of Alex, the owner, who honored their 5 % discount if booked 3 weeks before moving, and my movers, Eugene and Serge. Eugene contacted me the day before to confirm & ask some questions about my contents, and he kept me informed all along as to their arrival time. All went well but it took longer than expected with only 2 men. They were careful and followed my instructions re: delicate or previously damaged furniture. I asked if they would tell me when the heavy furniture was coming inside because I wanted to put padding on the legs to protect the wooden floors. This slowed them up but it helped me because I might have forgotten about doing that later. Also, I asked them to carry many boxes to the basement, and that I appreciated so much. I was very concerned about one piece, an antique rocker that had 2 breaks in one leg. Much to my surprise, Eugene placed a reinforced bandage on the leg and I am still using it until I take it to get repaired. While packing the month before, I had forgotten where I had hid some valuable jewelry. Well, low and behold, when my bedroom was already emptied, I saw my 2 stashes of gold and silver on the window sill. When I went to Eugene, I commented that I would never have known if they had kept it, and thanked him profusely. His response, "My parents taught me right, I guess." As far as Albo's rates and overall value go....You can't put a price on this kind of integrity and work ethic. The fact that I used them twice in 2 years speaks for itself. Packing for a move is one of the worst stresses in life. But having a moving company that is reliable and trustworthy will free up your mind to concentrate on other important things during your move.

I have pictures of all of it. He moved my stuff in a stolen shopping cart from the Wegman's because he forgot his moving carts. He charged me $950.00 extra for a second truck which was supposed to carry my stuff to storage. I reminded him at 6:15 PM the night before to bring the truck as it was in our agreement. He never brought the truck and he charged me for the truck. He claims I said the money was for his guys. HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF A CUSTOMER TIPPING AN IDIOT MOVER AN EXTRA $950.00 for breaking things? Taking that money is a violation of the contract and is fraud. The men were tipped before they left according to the guidelines he gave me by phone. I even called the night before to ask his tipping policy. Owners do not get tips. I left $120.00 in cash for the 3 men. So, their tip was $1,070.00 according to Dan. What an idiot! He also yelled at me for calling him the night before to see if he was coming. It was 6:15 PM and he had not sent me the contact information he was supposed to send for the next day. In Massachusetts I have had to hire Task Rabbit to remove the broken furniture from my apartment including a bed that was handcarved by a member of my family several generations ago and an antique sofa made by my great grandfather. I also had to hire a second mover today to remove all of the items marked STORAGE that he left in my apartment in the loft. There are also still three boxes in my house in PA that he forgot to pack. Apparently, he used them as a doorstop and forgot the boxes. There are also two important paintings missing. Every item was color coded and there was a list of directions and maps of the complex. He complained he should have charged me extra because it was such a long walk. Has anyone ever heard of a mover complaining for three hours because he has to carry things? His responses actually show that he also cannot read, write or follow directions. Stay away!! I demand my insurance claim forms. I paid extra for additional insurance. Apparently, he does not have ANY!!

Nate sent me numbers and said everything had to be packed up and ready to go for his team. I asked if they could do one thing - wrap my furniture in blankets - and he answered "no, it's our policy not to wrap the furniture with pads prior to putting them in the truck, as it makes it very difficult to carry the items. I apologize that we won't be able to meet your specific needs and we will not be able to move you." I emailed him back, said I'd be OK with that (even though it wasn't ideal for me), and I haven't heard back. This was 4 days ago. I hired Tyndale Transportation in 2024 to pack and move my belongings to storage. The team was…read moreunprofessional: boxes weren't labeled, furniture wasn't wrapped properly, and my floors were scratched. Bed parts were scattered and unlabeled, making reassembly a nightmare. When professional movers later handled moving my items from storage, they said, "The last movers didn't do right by you." The job took far longer and cost about the same as a major moving company: at one point, four guys were working on one item that only required two (photo attached). It was clear they were milking the time. One mover even cursed at me, and Tyndale relied on him as his "expert." Avoid this company and hire real professionals instead.
