I then asked how to move forward - no answer for three days. On the third day I asked again if someone could please reach out and tell me the next steps and the reply, the next day was that they wanted to know my destination and inventory (ummmm you were given that originally). I again gave the destination pickup/drop off and full inventory list. That was three days ago, no response. Honestly, how can you be a reputable company when you don't respond to client requests? If the job was something they didn't/couldn't do, the least they could do is tell you instead of ignoring you. If this is how they respond in the beginning then how are they going to be with managing your move? Danger, danger Will Robinson.

Nate sent me numbers and said everything had to be packed up and ready to go for his team. I asked if they could do one thing - wrap my furniture in blankets - and he answered "no, it's our policy not to wrap the furniture with pads prior to putting them in the truck, as it makes it very difficult to carry the items. I apologize that we won't be able to meet your specific needs and we will not be able to move you." I emailed him back, said I'd be OK with that (even though it wasn't ideal for me), and I haven't heard back. This was 4 days ago. Being a business owner myself, this is not how you treat a repeat customer. Based on this poor experience I would not recommend Smooth Moving Pros.

Worst ever! They damaged many of my items but didn't assume any blame since they didn't pack them…read more I have moved many times and always did my own packing...never had any damage. Boxes were labeled "this side up" or "fragile ". I uses bubble wrap on fragile things and made sure every box was padded and tight. They packed my TVs and managed to dent the screen on one ( which I was reimbursed for). But, their insurance covers...are you ready.. .6 cents/lb! One ( of many dishes) is $100 to replace! They ripped the handle off one of my dressers and I don't even know where they through it to begin to repair it. It took me over 5 months and a lot of emails to even get a check for the TV. It didn't matter who packed the items since they had no regard for my items. They did everything but jump up and down on them. Never again! Beware!

The crew worked for 16 hours to move 3 trucks worth of items from one home to another, disassembling and reassembling as needed. They were helpful and friendly upon booking and collecting my deposit. Their pricing was in line with other quotes I received so I felt they were legit. They told me they would call 2-3 days prior to the move to let me know the moving time. Never heard from them. I finally got a hold of them and was expecting them the following morning. Instead I get a text message the morning of the move " This is all my sons the dispatch dept, I had 2 crews call out sick and we will not be able to make it today..." No phone call from a customer service rep, no apologies - a text message?!! Again hard to get a hold of them but I finally spoke to the dispatcher who couldn't have been more rude, no apologies and basically told me my deposit did not secure anything. When we discussed the possibility of doing the move the next day his comment was he needed me to commit to be put on the schedule as if I changed the move date. The next day we got a text survey to click on the link on why you didn't move with All My Sons moving. Tried to call repeatedly to get back my $100 meaningless deposit of which I am sure I will never see. Makes me question if they are even a legit business or a scam.

On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!
