Rick came to provide the estimate in a timely manner after I called him and he scheduled the work…read morewhen the painting conditions would be optimal. He recommended that some of the rotted siding and trim be replaced prior to pressure washing and painting to ensure there would be no issues in the future and the finished job would hold up long term. I followed his recommendation and my garage and shed both look great. It took me a while to finalize the paint color but Rick was very patient and let me decide on just the right color. In fact, he was also willing to provide his input which I appreciated. During the time Rick was working at my home he was professional and courteous and was sure to paint only when conditions were favorable. In fact, some other painting work was done on my home during the same time period and the contractor responsible for that job did not take into account weather conditions and the paint he applied bubbled and peeled only a short time after it was applied. As a result the work has to be completely re-done. The painting Rick did still looks great almost a year later and is a testament to his experience and expertise regarding proper painting conditions. There were no hidden costs or surprises and the price I paid was what Rick had estimated at the beginning of the job. It rained quite a bit during the time Rick was working and in order to keep the job as close to on schedule as possible he worked on Saturdays as needed which I appreciated. Rick was responsive and in constant communication during the job so I always knew the status of the project and whether he would be working on any particular day due to weather, etc. Overall, Rick did a wonderful job on my garage and shed at a reasonable price. He was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely hire him for work at my home in the future.

After hiring a handful of handymen, chimney guys and other various home repair workers who simply…read moredidn't live up to our expectations, I honestly didn't expect much from Josh. When we first met I was expecting a sales pitch full of inflated prices. Instead what I received was superior, way above average treatment. We had a big job for Josh and he completed the entire job without any issues. Never late, never any problems that required us to pay more than we were quoted. Josh had a professional and extensive contract for us to sign, he took digital photos of the work in progress and he explained everything to us so that we understood what he was doing and why. He used quality materials instead of cheap subpar items, and he always offered us options. Instead of rushing through the job, Josh took his time and included added details such as repointing the chimney. It became obvious he was a perfectionist and he took pride in a job he attached his name to. Furthermore, Josh found a serious issue from the last chimney job we had done with another company and after we contacted them and got some of our money back we had him fix that for us as well. Josh is actually passionate about fixing chimneys, if you can believe that, and it shows. When we had a chimney fire (no fault of his) he came flying over to our home the same night, and then returned the next day to do a complete and thorough check. Josh is professional, responsible and excellent at what he does. Not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me on something or take on more than he could handle. He pays attention to details and would never rush a job just to get it done. I highly recommend his services and will continue to use him for any and all of our chimney needs. I will also trust Josh to help me find workers for other non-chimney related repairs, and I encourage anyone else to do the same.
