We live on a steep hill with the back side of the house sloping sharply towards a small creek. They used very tall ladders to get to ALL the siding. They cleaned the porch including all the tubular wasps nests built in the grout of the stone walls. They took down the remains of a huge hornets nest. They under estimated the size of the house but stayed with their very fair original estimate (we gave them more). We will be using them again next year.

I can cover that up to conceal the worst of it, but were never informed of it.) 3rd thing: While cleaning the grout, some of the grout was blown out and we were told someone will be in touch real soon to take care of patching the grout. I never heard anything back from them, but after about 2 months I thought I would look at their flooring for an entire small home and reminded them of the repairs which need done. They said they did find it on file and will take care of it. It is now at 2 additional months and have not heard anything from the store to try and rectify the problem. Nice enough personnel, but terrible service . Respectfully, Dennis B.

Again I said "absolutely, thank you." They were here promptly and the team left it spotless. I've used Kauffman's several times and will continue to use them. They are a well-known family business which we are fortunate to have in the Reading, PA area. I thank you Rick and Kauffman's. As for value because it was an emergency, they were extremely fairly priced. Don't base your carpet cleaning on one bad review...call Kauffman's. No, I am not related to the business! You will love their service and expertise. They're the best that we've had and we've lived here for 40 years. They also clean grout which is my next call to a wonderful business.

Once they arrived they managed to do the clean out fast and efficiently. What impressed me the most were the way they managed to condense things into the smallest space possible (saving me money!) and how respectful they were of the house. How they managed to do all of this without a scratch of damage to the house is amazing. On top of all that, they were incredibly friendly and great guys to have around. Antrim's came recommended from a local fireplace store as a resource for cleaning, assessment and…read morerepairs. I have an old stone farmhouse with 2 fireplaces, a wood stove and an oil furnace flue. The tech that cam to do the inspection and cleaning was efficient, informative, professional and explained in detail what he was doing and why at each step. I truly appreciate when a contractor does that. I got estimates for restoration of the two fireplaces and oil boiler flue (which are unlined and unusable) and repair of the wood stove (which was back-drafting and had not been installed to code). I arranged to have Antrim's do the replacement/repair of the wood stove pipe, chimney and roof penetration materials after having a few discussions with Nate, the owner, on strategies and approach. The work was done by Nate and the tech that did the cleaning and inspection. I DO NOT LIKE HIRING CONTRACTORS.. I typically have to repair work done by "professionals" after they leave. In this case, the Wood stove work was, again, done efficiently and professionally and Nate kept me well informed on the details throughout the process, as requested. I appreciated the collaboration and felt I was informed enough to understand what was going on, while letting them get on with their good work. The result was a satisfied customer (me), a professional job done correctly and as agreed on budget. We can't wait for the weather to cool off enough to use our wood stove again and reap the benefits of Antrim's good work!
