I replied with "When would be your start date?" as I have computer equipment set up and wanted to know when I needed to move it. I was completely ghosted. No response, no update, no explanation -- just silence. All I needed was a firm start date or the honesty to say he couldn't take on the job. Mike is a nice guy and I would still use him if the communication was more professional. Instead, we're now left scrambling to find another contractor. All in all a very disappointing experience.

When they showed up they said that we can't t do the insulation and made up some BS reason. They wanted the drywall work and fed me the insulation BS so they could do a bait and switch.

It was hard to get an estimate, e-mails sent were apparently missed, the office staff was disorganized- and I'm being polite. it was disorganized to the point I felt like they didn't want my business. and setting a date for the work was only marginally less stressful than Noah booking seats on the ark. When the workmen showed up, they had no work order, I got no receipt or anything at all, and they barely spoke English leading to a few misunderstandings. So the work was absolutely first rate but my God, it was a challenge getting it going.
