They…read morecalled me back the next day, had an agent come out after our work schedule around 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. so it was great with our schedules. The gentleman who came out was named Evan. He was fantastic! He was real, upfront, honest, and overall a genuine person. This is my first time ever doing major housework so I was very nervous but I felt like I could trust him so he does his job well. We were informed right from the get-go that it would not be the cheapest for a roof, but it would also not be the most expensive. He brought in samples of the tiles, showed us the nails that they would use, and thoroughly explain the whole process to us so I felt like I understood what was happening. They showed up on the day of ready to go and it took about 8 hours. I got home from work and the new shingles on the front roof looked amazing. I reached out to the gentleman heading the project and he sent me the pictures of our roof which was fantastic. What stood out to me was this is the first time I've seen any kind of construction being done on a house in years that I haven't gotten a flat tire from a nail in the road. They have a policy that for each nail you find, you can mail it in and they will give you a check back. For better or worse I did not find any nails anywhere which is nice because I didn't want to have to patch another hole in the tire. Based on the average cost for hours square footage, they came in right around the ballpark of where I expected if it was on the high end of the spectrum. They were professional, they were friendly, I feel like they did a great job, and they were honest. Could not recommend this company more and if we have any work done on our house in the future, I will certainly be reaching back out to them.

I have been dealing with a slate roof repair for almost 3 months now through this company. They have now been out to my house about five times, and the repair is still not done. This repair was a part of my house closing and settlement to repair what was found in the inspection report and I still literally have daylight coming in through my roof and exposed wood when they've tried saying the work is complete. I have been waiting over 2 weeks now just for a response.

They shoveled 2 layers of roofing into my flower beds, nails and shingles into the yard and onto the driveway. Below is a pic of the nails i picked off the driveway after a flat tire on my truck. They ran their wheelbarrow into the side of my car and didn't notify me. I have made numerous calls explaining my dissatisfaction and never called back. My truck tire cost over 300 and who knows what dent repair costs. They don't care because unfortunately my wife paid in full prior to work done. Stay away from these clowns......you might be getting a good price for a roof, but it costs you more in the end.

(While on my roof for the initial estimate, Kevin also noticed a seal that was dry rotted and brought that to my attention as something to fix as well which I really appreciated) So we had to replace our gutters. We switched from 5in to 6in. Every step of the process was done promptly and professionally. Every member of the team I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Even after the initial install when I needed one minor correction, I never felt worried that I was being blown off or lesser priority. I was not charged for the service until it was done to my complete satisfaction. Our new gutters are fantastic and look really nice too. And the 10 year warranty makes me feel secure that our investment was worth every penny. I highly recommend giving Joyland a chance for your next roof/gutter issue.
