Our white grout had turned black from built up dirt before we moved in, and there was nothing I could do to get it clean. He also did repairs to cracked grout & loose tiles in our bathrooms which turned out equally as immaculate. I highly recommend Wolffe Tile & Grout, and will certainly be a return client for any future grout projects we may have.

My gas-log stove died due to lack of replacement parts after 25 years. I researched models online and found one that matched the dimensions I require. I visited Kegerreis because they said the model I wanted was in stock. I did not require installation. My wife and I visited on a Saturday to confirm the showroom model matched the dimensions I require, and that my wife was happy with the product. After confirming, I asked if this was something we could purchase today. The salesperson said yes. We placed the order, explaining that it needed to be compatible with propane. We also ordered common parts that typically fail in gas-log appliances. We paid in full, using our credit card, (with a 2.4% added credit charge), and asked if we could load it from there, and they said "no, it's not in stock here, it's in our warehouse and they don't work on Saturdays." We could pick it up Monday. We called them Monday, and they said it is not in stock in the warehouse, they would have to order it. It will be here in 3 weeks. Four weeks later, at the end of the month, they charged me the full amount on my card. We assumed this meant the product was in. My wife called and they said "no, it's not in, and we can't be expected to call every customer." I get it, end-of-month is when your numbers need to look good. 2 more weeks and we picked it up. I installed the appliance and took note that the data tag specified natural gas, not propane. This is common. There is a simple retrofit kit to convert it. As there was no kit in any of the parts boxes, I guessed that they installed it. It is nearly impossible to be sure merely by looking at it. I test-fired it, and it was clearly set up for natural gas. I researched the conversion kit and obtained the specifications of the new orifices. I ordered a kit from an online source, but I also called Kegerreis and explained that I needed the conversion kit, and they assured me it was in the boxes of parts that I received. They said it is small and easy to miss. I told them it was not, but I didn't care, I would pay for another one to expedite the process and get the thing running. They had it in stock. They charged me for the kit (with a 2.4% added credit charge). I deal with parts and shipping delays all the time in my job. Blaming Covid is the new go-to excuse. I understand and expect delays, but I don't understand how you can't know your own inventory. Although the missing part was a trifling issue, it is short-sighted in business not to lean the customers' way. They are just another business; they suffer from the "Small Family Business Curse." They feel the need to scrape every penny towards themselves and dislike dealing with customers. I have no reason to deal with them again and will travel any distance in the future to avoid them. In the end, they provided what I paid for, so they don't stand out as horrible or great, hence 3 stars.

Everything went downhill after that! Our last backordered piece arrived yesterday, 8 months from when the builder paid 50% down. The customer service and management was so lacking and we had to initiate 75% of the communication, including a demand or we take action to get the $2,000 deposit returned that they accidently forgot to credit us. We ended up providing our own installers due to the timing of everything in attempt to stay on schedule. Jemson told the builder he had to pay the 2nd half closer to when we wanted delivery. Once they had 100% payment, we started to learn of all the delays. We did not feel the urgency to get things sooner-especially with the backordered things. Our last piece had the delivery date changed 3 times, each time saying it would be a month longer. We feel someone dropped the ball in ordering. Jemson did not reach out to us to see if we got these last two pieces and if everything was complete and satisfactory, closing our order. Fabuwood's semi-custom kitchen is beautiful but it should not have taken 8 months to complete! "Thank you for your patience." was the only platitude we heard from Jemson in response to our frustration and the wait. He recommended that some of the rotted siding and trim be replaced prior to pressure washing and painting to ensure there would be no issues in the future and the finished job would hold up long term. I followed his recommendation and my garage and shed both look great. It took me a while to finalize the paint color but Rick was very patient and let me decide on just the right color. In fact, he was also willing to provide his input which I appreciated. During the time Rick was working at my home he was professional and courteous and was sure to paint only when conditions were favorable. In fact, some other painting work was done on my home during the same time period and the contractor responsible for that job did not take into account weather conditions and the paint he applied bubbled and peeled only a short time after it was applied. As a result the work has to be completely re-done. The painting Rick did still looks great almost a year later and is a testament to his experience and expertise regarding proper painting conditions. There were no hidden costs or surprises and the price I paid was what Rick had estimated at the beginning of the job. It rained quite a bit during the time Rick was working and in order to keep the job as close to on schedule as possible he worked on Saturdays as needed which I appreciated. Rick was responsive and in constant communication during the job so I always knew the status of the project and whether he would be working on any particular day due to weather, etc. Overall, Rick did a wonderful job on my garage and shed at a reasonable price. He was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely hire him for work at my home in the future.

Here is an update..... Rec'd call from Matt yesterday in response to a complaint we filed with the Better Business Bureau. We had a rather comical, heated exchange which included Matt being dumbfounded as to why a businessman needs to call his customer when he is going to be late. Matt then indicated that by my 75 year old mother questioning him on this matter she was being rude and demanded an apology from her. (How dare a customer expect responsibility!). A little respect for your elders would be nice. Yet, when I asked him if would wait that long for a plumber or electrician at his house he had no response. When asked why he left the job after only cleaning 2 of the 4 windows and not telling us that he was leaving, he stated that he just didn't want to. He then proceeded to tell us not to call him again and slammed down the phone. Very mature, huh? Oh, and also, Matt indicated on the phone that he was in business over 20 years, his website says 15. ATTENTION ALL NEW JERSEY FOLKS OUT THERE. Matt also went on to ask where we are from. When we stated "New Jersey" he stated "of course". Am I detecting a little prejudice on Matt's part. I can cover that up to conceal the worst of it, but were never informed of it.) 3rd thing: While cleaning the grout, some of the grout was blown out and we were told someone will be in touch real soon to take care of patching the grout. I never heard anything back from them, but after about 2 months I thought I would look at their flooring for an entire small home and reminded them of the repairs which need done. They said they did find it on file and will take care of it. It is now at 2 additional months and have not heard anything from the store to try and rectify the problem.
