Hiring William and Teri Hooper to sell my father's house in San Dimas was the best decision I've ever made. If I could give them 10 stars, they'd have my vote. It had been nearly 11 years since I had gone through the process of selling a house. From the moment I met them, I knew within the first 5 minutes they would be the relators I'd hire. During our initial conversation, they took the time to get to know me, understand why I was looking to sell and were taking mental notes of what it would take to get the house ready. Even though I had interviewed another realtor the same day, I decided to hire William and Teri instead. Their years of experience put all of my worries and concerns at ease. The day I hired them, they made a trip to Lowes to purchase boxes and materials to help me start packing items up! And, they didn't stop there. William and Teri facilitated and managed the gardening crews who cleaned up and laid down sod (maximizing curb appeal), managed the cleaning crew, ensuring the house was spic and span, swapped out fixtures and improved other details the made the house picture perfect. They even helped me move!! William made several trips to the Goodwill and helped to get rid of trash. Who offers that kind of service these days? This was all within the first 2 weeks, leading up to the open house on August 12, 2017. As a result of their tireless efforts, I received an offer after the FIRST open house. The escrow process went off flawlessly. And, they kept me informed almost daily of the progress. I still can't believe how easy the process was. William and Teri Hooper will put your mind and concerns as ease every step of the way. Both of them were readily available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot of questions!). Do yourself a favor and hire them. They both go above and beyond just listing a property! I will be hiring them again for any future real estate needs. read more

San Dimas, CA SOLD: March 13th, 2015 A LOT of research was done before listing this property. The Trust looked for an Agent who was recently more than just successful - based on current local sales. Teri and William won hands down! Past and recent local sales were researched and reviewed carefully, on the internet. The Trust had already done a lot of prep work to get this Condo ready to sell. New amenities in the Kitchen and Bathrooms, obvious repairs were completed beforehand. The Trust was further willing to offer a rebate to the Buyer, with a higher price tag. When Teri and William came for the first visit, they made several suggestions for additional changes, in lieu of a rebate; and later they easily implemented them. When I asked Teri how much they could list the property for, without batting an eye, Teri told me a figure which made me very happy! Over two months, several viable offers were tendered from Buyers, but were below the Trust price. After one great deal fell through because of the appraisal, the very next day Teri and William received an all-cash offer, OVER the asking price! For the very same amount Teri had confidently predicted initially! And it closed on Friday the Thirteenth, coinciding with the 111th birthday of the Trust Owner! (RIP) How is that for Magical ! Terri and William were very easy to work with. They bent over backward to make this sale successful. I was VERY happy with how HARD they worked, how they handled their end of the contract, how tolerant (of my ignorance) they were dealing with the complications of a Trust, how easily they accommodated Seller requests & requirements, and how cooperative they were, getting this property closed. If you are considering Buying or Selling real estate in the San Gabriel Valley or nearby, call Teri or William, before you commit with anyone else! read more

We just can't express enough how amazing they both were. From the very beginning we just felt that we were in great hands and that they were an answer to prayer. All of their work and effort made such a huge difference and when we talk about them to our friends and family they would always be blown away with how above and beyond they went for us. The first time they came to our house and we had our intro meeting we knew that they were the realtors for us. William and Teri are such a great team. They had really done their research for the local comps and knew exactly what to list our house at. They were so confident and worked so hard for us the entire time. When it was time to cover the couple things that we has on our repair list one of the things was install and new garage door motor with the sensors at the bottom of the door, William came in on a Sunday and installed the entire thing all by himself, he also fixed a sink for us, he was amazing! Teri was always going to bat for us with everything behind the scenes with the other agent and the people from the buyers loan office. They were right there with us every step of the way, they gave us ideas on how to prep the house for an open house, they talked with us over the phone when we gave a counter offer, William was there with a professional photographer to take the listing pictures, and William was there for the first and the final walk throughs. Any time I needed to talk to them they were easy to contact via text, call, or email, they are right on it every time! My wife and I just can't say enough how at ease they made us feel and would use them in a heart beat in the future and will recommend them to all of our friends. I would use them for any future buys or sells, they are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more

When we interviewed realtors only Teri and William had something to suggest about pricing in Mountain Meadows in Pomona in addition to multiplying the square footage by the going price range. They were enthusiastic about special qualities that were attractive to buyers. We followed their recommendation to price on the high side of the price per square foot range. They quickly arranged the first open house. Buyers made an offer, which we accepted. William helped us arrange the inspection for termites and dry rot. But then came the 119-page inspection report from the house inspector arranged by the buyer, with some reasonable recommendations and also a large number of ridiculous recommendations even for a new house, much less one 34 years old. To fix the problems we would have needed an army of electricians, plumbers and carpenters - most of whom have no interest in small jobs. I wanted to cancel the sale and relist it. But Teri and William have experience with unreasonable inspection reports and have a strategy for dealing with them. William arranged for his network of handymen and professionals to fix the more reasonable requests and also many of the ridiculous requests for a low cost. And for the rest, we refused. The buyers accepted our counter-proposal and we moved forward. And then there were delays with the buyers' financing and with the escrow process. Teri persisted on those issues until they were back on track. Teri and William were available whenever we had questions and they had solutions. They are always professional and trustworthy. Anyone would be happy to work with them. read more

It is my pleasure to give the highest rating to Teri and William Hooper as realtors for the sale of our house. Selling a house is challenging. Realtors need to understand the market, work with the buyers as well as the sellers, strategically plan open houses, navigate inspection issues, and solve a variety of unanticipated problems, all in a professional manner. Teri and William were outstanding and professional throughout the process. We considered other realtors, but we found them either to be too passive in generating interest or too rigid in setting a price. Then we found Teri and William. They worked with us to set a price that combined our financial goals with their understanding of the market. They frequently held open houses and other showings to stimulate interest in the house. They worked with the buyers and us to resolve inspection issues. They worked with all parties to find the price "sweet spot". They worked with the buyer and us on a contract change to improve the buyer's loan without lowering our bottom line. At the close of escrow, William even hauled away some items that neither the buyer nor sellers (us) wanted, all on his own nickel. Teri and William work as a blended team. Teri handles the contractual communications, while William does the legwork. They go above and beyond the call of duty every step of the way despite their busy schedules. It is no wonder that they are top-rung realtors within Re-Max. I highly recommend them as realtors, either for buyers or sellers. Richard M. and Phyllis R. read more

They are the best of the best! We have known Teri and William for about 15 years and have used them to buy 4 houses and sell 3! We have continued to use them because of their hard work and dedication. No one will work harder for you! They are always available for us and are ready to answer any questions we had. Their extensive knowledge in the real estate market helps them guide their clients through the whole process! They are very knowledgeable and experienced and helped us have a smooth transition during a exciting but stressful time. Teri and William hosted an open house for us and our house sold during that first weekend! They were there every step of the way through the inspections, appraisal, and repairs. William personally came and helped us with our repairs to sell our home! Their communication is outstanding, they truly do work for you 24/7. I would absolutely recommend Teri and William they will go above and beyond for you! I am so thankful to have such amazing and dedicated agents and friends! read more

Teri and William did an excellent job! It was the first time we had sold a home and we live almost 3,000 miles away on the East Coast. So needless to say we felt like a fish out of water. But they took care of everything and did it in a very professional way. Teri is top notch when it comes to the paper work and William is a real hands on man, he installed smoke detectors, lit pilot lights, secured water heaters with proper strapping etc, etc, etc. I especially appreciated that because I also am that kind of man but felt helpless living as far away way we do. They were excellent when it came to communicating with us, giving us the guidance that we needed. We felt in touch every step of the way. Even putting up with a few silly questions from first time sellers, they were very patient with us. Their sense of timing was also very helpful, with their guidance we listed at the right time which lead to getting a better price. We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is thinking of selling. read more

Highly recommend! Best experience ever from a realtor. Terri and William are the most knowledgeable, professional and friendliest people we have had the pleasure of doing business with. They helped us sell and buy our home during the pandemic. They are 100% reliable and very helpful. William is always up to help in any way, which we love. It's a delight to know that he was there to help us if we needed anything as far as fixing or moving . He's very handy! Terri is super! She knows all the ins and outs of the business. It was a smooth sell and buy . She was always there to answer any question and treated us like family. I like that they both took the time to explain any questions we had. They were never too busy like some other realtors. If you are looking for a realtor, do not hesitate to call the best of the best - Terri & William. We will forever be thankful for all they did for us. read more

William and Teri Hooper are awesome! They sold our townhouse in Claremont and helped us purchase a single family home in San Dimas. They go above and beyond to make the whole process run smoothly. They are very knowledgeable of the area and the comps and got us top dollar for our townhouse. When it came time to make repairs on our home before we moved William helped us make the repairs and found us the best price for the additional repairs we needed! When we had a bad appraisal Teri negotiated with the other realtor and buyer to get us our original price. When we found the new home we wanted she found us what we were looking for on our terms. She diligently worked with the other agent to get us the home we wanted! During the whole process they were easily accessible through phone, email or text. They are honest and hard working professionals and I highly recommend them! read more

Terri and William were awesome. Wonderful, kind and considerate people. They helped us sell out house while we were out of state, which was not an easy task considering some of the work needed. Terri knows the process very well, and William jumped in and personally handled getting our place ready to sell. They have access to the professionals you may need, such as maintenance, repairs, termite inspections - also great people and service at a reasonable price. Selling a house is often emotional and hurried; there are many people out there that will take advantage of you because of this, but not the Hoopers. They definitely do not fit the typical real estate agent stereotype; instead, we were hugely surprised and are very appreciative of all they did. 5 stars plus. Thank you Terri, William, you made this whole process the best it could be. Bless you, Dave & Wendi read more

Let me be brief. My wife and I were selling our home and moving into a larger one with more amenities and needed local representation-with local knowledge. After having experience working with Teri and William I will say this...No one will work harder than Teri and William to sell your home, for the best negotiated price, in this market. No one will work harder to find you a new home, for the best negotiated price, in this market. They did both for us...simultaneously. Tough to do. And we didn't end up on the street. A seamless transition. And we were no nonsense, probably demanding, customers. We were pleased. That's an understatement. What a team! Their knowledge and work ethic was unprecedented. And always with a sense of calm. No joke. These two are professionals and always on top of it. Use them. You'll be glad that you did. read more

If you want a team who will WORK for you, then you want Teri & William. My husband and I first bought a home with Teri & William 9 years ago. In July we sold our home with Teri & William and also bought a second home with them as our realtors. They were able to get multiple offers on our home within 4 days of the home being listed. We were able to get asking price on our home. Teri and William were with us every step of the way with the sale of our home, and also every step of the way with buying our new home. They think of everything. It was nice to come home one day to see that they had dropped off boxes and packing supplies for us. Teri and William have helped other members in my family buy and sell homes. They are our family realtors and we wouldn't go with anyone else. Use Teri & William, you will be extremely happy. read more

Teri and William provide an all inclusive service, I would give them 10 stars if I could! They went above and beyond to get my home in San Dimas sold. Before the house even went on the market, they had their handyman fix a few minor things for me. William even planted a small bush out front I had been meaning to plant myself. Teri and William were very good about communicating with me throughout the process, they did quite a bit of handholding to help me through the stressful process of selling my San Dimas home while purchasing my new home in Northern California. They were ready and willing to have an open house every weekend. And not only are they professional, exceptional real estate agents, they are genuinely good and honest people! I would highly recommend William and Teri to my family and friends! read more

We have worked with Teri and William for over a decade. They helped us find to rentals, and then worked with us through nearly 30 house walk throughs and 12 offers. They are the kindest most patient and supportive realtors you could possibly ask for. Their ability to navigate any situation as a team is amazing. They dream with you, they plan with you, and they will slug it out on your behalf, if that is what is needed. I am so very grateful to know the two of them. They will not just help you get your house, they will stay in contact and help you with way more support than I would have ever expected, even years after they have helped close a deal. If you want an amazing team whose support you can count on for years to come. Pick Teri and William, you will be glad you did!!! read more

There aren't enough words or enough stars that can describe the type of people Teri and William are and how good of real estate agents they are. William is typically the one to show the properties and the first time I met him he told me "I'll show you a hundred places if it will help you guys." Then once we decided to put in an offer, Teri was there to help us every step of the way to structuring a strong offer to the final walk through to the day we got the keys. She also hooked us up with the best lender in the business. She would constantly go to bat for us. Together, Teri and William helped my wife and I make our dream of buying a home for us and our two daughters a reality. Not only are we glad they were our realtors but we are glad to have met them. read more

I highly recommend Teri and William as your Real Estate Agents of Choice. They work very well as a team finding the right buyer for your home and go out of their way to find you the perfect home to buy. They arranged for a great photographer to show our home in the perfect light. Teri was on the phone all day, everyday (even weekends) scheduling home tours and getting info on possible offers and negotiating with the sellers agent. William helped set up our home to sell and spent time fixing little things that needed done. He was also always available to show us possible homes to buy. Their 30 years of experience allowed us to sell our home in under a week at well over the asking price. Teresa and Charles read more

I decided to sell my condo after 30+ years and saw some flyers from relators that listed recent sales in my neighborhood. I called Teri and William and they made an appointment for the next day. They inspected the property, we discussed my situation and requirements, and they came up with a very reason plan. Within days they had two potential buyers. I was pleasantly surprised with their buyer tips and with their follow-up with phone calls and home visits. Overall, it worked out better than expected. The sale was handled efficiently, and involved excellent treatment by the escrow company. I highly recommend checking with Teri and William if you are considering a sale. read more

We had an amazing experience working with Teri and William! They worked incredibly hard to help make sure our home buying experience was a success! As first time home buyers, we had tons of questions, and Teri and William answered every one of them and helped us feel confident in the decisions we were making. It is 100% because of Teri and William and their years of experience that we ended up with our dream home in what is arguably one of the toughest home buying markets ever! Teri and William are great, they sold my family home of 62 years in Glendora. I requested that the listing price be higher than what they wanted to list... I signed a listing agreement on Thursday at my requested price, the photos were taken on Friday, the home went onto MLS on Saturday, had two showings on Sunday and a full price offer on Monday without ANY open house. Needless to say, there were some things that needed to be done to get this deal done and William and Teri made them all happen. They were always there to take care of ANY problems that came up. I would highly recommend them. read more
