Sold us a home and Marketed a working pool & Spa. Big sign on top of for Sale sign with the added Pool/ Spa . Then let the homeowner mark that amenity was "present" on all paperwork and working. Marketed those amenities on the Zillow/ Redfin marketing. After buying the home No pool /spa heater present - so no Spa ‍ ($6000- mishap) We hired a pool inspector for leak detection but no spa inspector. First time pools/ spa buyers. We trusted their paperwork, their team due to the reviews and the homeowners . Like i said DONT trust the team! do all your own diligence. We reached out to see since they "lied" about the amenty and they pointed to a page in there inspection i felt hidden in a box where the sellers inspection had a check mark under "not present" for heater. So then my question was why does your advertising say "Heated" or Working Spa? why did you let the Homeowners mark working spa with heater present if you knew it was not there????? I asked if they could help with anything to offset us getting the home amenity to where they said it was and they sent an email saying "it's our fault for not double checking, so no" so like i said. Don't trust their advertising and check EVERYTHING yourself especially very expensive amentities.

I interviewed four realtors regarding the sale of my Glendora condominium. Three of them handed me…read moreshiny business cards as I greeted them at the door. Maureen Haney handed me a quarter-inch thick property dossier with a comprehensive analysis of my property--including the sale history of my place, and nearby sales of similar properties. This file also contained an overview of Ms. Haney's expertise and experience. It was obvious she had already spent hours doing her homework. As we walked through my condo, cluttered high with boxes and chaos, her expertise became even more apparent. She told us what we needed to do to get the best price, and what we didn't really need to worry about. Even though we weren't going to list for a few more months, it was apparent that Maureen Haney was going to be hard to beat. (She'd been referred to me by a reputable local mortgage broker.) From the moment we signed the contract, she and her team took control of the process and we always felt that we were in good hands. Maureen suggested a painter, a carpet guy, a gardener, and a handyman. All of them were excellent and provided their work at fair prices. This saved me dozens of hours of research shopping for these services. The fact that I was working with Maureen made orchestrating all these people easy. She told them when we needed them, and on that day, in they came. We also enjoyed our interactions with the escrow company Maureen uses. They made a real effort to be super friendly and to keep us updated on the paperwork requirements. I was out of state at this time, but I never was left in the dark as to any detail. I really appreciated Maureen's communication efforts. We exchanged hundreds of texts during the entire process. She would typically reply within minutes to any of my numerous inquiries. The process didn't last that long since our place sold in five days at $7,000 above asking price with a cash offer and a 15-day escrow. Escrow delivered a few surprises during the inspection, but Maureen fielded these issues with aplomb and efficiency. We closed without a hitch. Buying and selling a home is a huge and important project--perhaps second only to a major medical procedure. Maureen Haney provided the expertise we needed to survive this process.

We took her card and ended up calling her about a month later when we were more interested in selling our home and finding our forever home. She met with us, asked lots of questions about our goals and realistic expectations. We decided again, we weren't quite ready and let her know we would reach out when we were. Again, not pushy with us and respected our decision. Fast forward another 6 months and we decided we were really ready. We met several other realtors within that 6 months but decided we liked Angelina and her team and called her back. We sold and bought our dream home within a month. Angelina was amazing every step of the way. She responded quickly to all of our calls/texts. Communicated all updates in a timely manner. She ended up getting us over $100k more than our asking price, which was amazing! We went back and forth with her about our budget for our dream home and never showed any frustration with our constant changes. When we were in escrow on the new home, we had an issue with our inspector not wanting to go in the crawl space because he "thought" we had critters and refused to come back until we were able to show that we didn't. Angelina, just as frustrated as we were, brought her own traps and went into the crawl space on her own and set the traps the inspector requested. She knew what needed to happen and got the job done, which I truly respected. She doesn't talk your ear off, she is an active listener and great communicator. What I think I liked the most was she never came across as someone she isn't. I've met a lot of realtors and a lot seem to try to show off their accomplishments and act flashy and brag. That doesn't impress me and really, it makes me uncomfortable. I want someone who is going to understand my wants and needs and help me achieve that without having to brag about what she's done. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I will be reaching out to Angelina and her team! We cannot thank you enough!!

Let me preface by saying that Austin was our main agent, and Taylor and Craig were major helps along the way as well. Between our first baby, the pandemic, and the insane housing market, we were almost certain we weren't going to find a home before 2021, possibly 2022. After being outbidded numerous times in previous attempts to purchase a home, our confidence was low, and our guard was high. Austin was not only confident we could find something in our budget, he made sure we found something we absolutely adored. We've worked with previous agents in the past (not from KALEO) who were so focused on getting a deal, they tried to push properties on us to get us in and out, so we appreciated Austin's honesty and patience throughout the process. Taylor and Craig were also wonderful in assisting us, whether it was accompanying Austin to the house, or making sure all our documents were thoroughly explained, or answering trivial questions on a Friday night (sorry, guys). All in all, I couldn't recommend them enough, and strongly suggest working with KALEO. Thanks again for everything, guys. We couldn't have done this without you!

My mother's health was ailing, and we needed to get her into an assisted living home ASAP. To do so, we needed to sell her house. It was November (with December rapidly approaching), and time was of the essence. I researched the top agents in the Covina area. Narrowed it down to the top 3 and interviewed the top two over the course of two days. We chose Brenda based on her professionalism, warm demeanor, and market knowledge. We hired Brenda on a Monday, she had the photographer at my mom's house on Tuesday, listed her house on Wednesday, and we received our first offer on Friday. We allowed realtors/potential buyers to view her house over the weekend and accepted an offer on Monday. The craziest part about it was that Brenda's daughter was getting married that same Saturday we allowed agents/buyers in. She didn't skip a beat. It was miraculous! This was the first time I've ever sold a home, so I was very nervous. Though she had her own distractions in life, she didn't break stride. Brenda held my hand throughout the entire process and ensured my mom was taken care of as well (giving us referrals for movers, cleaners, etc.). If you're like me, over-researching realtors, STOP. Save yourself the time and go with Brenda!
