I interviewed four realtors regarding the sale of my Glendora condominium. Three of them handed me shiny business cards as I greeted them at the door. Maureen Haney handed me a quarter-inch thick property dossier with a comprehensive analysis of my property--including the sale history of my place, and nearby sales of similar properties. This file also contained an overview of Ms. Haney's expertise and experience. It was obvious she had already spent hours doing her homework. As we walked through my condo, cluttered high with boxes and chaos, her expertise became even more apparent. She told us what we needed to do to get the best price, and what we didn't really need to worry about. Even though we weren't going to list for a few more months, it was apparent that Maureen Haney was going to be hard to beat. (She'd been referred to me by a reputable local mortgage broker.) From the moment we signed the contract, she and her team took control of the process and we always felt that we were in good hands. Maureen suggested a painter, a carpet guy, a gardener, and a handyman. All of them were excellent and provided their work at fair prices. This saved me dozens of hours of research shopping for these services. The fact that I was working with Maureen made orchestrating all these people easy. She told them when we needed them, and on that day, in they came. We also enjoyed our interactions with the escrow company Maureen uses. They made a real effort to be super friendly and to keep us updated on the paperwork requirements. I was out of state at this time, but I never was left in the dark as to any detail. I really appreciated Maureen's communication efforts. We exchanged hundreds of texts during the entire process. She would typically reply within minutes to any of my numerous inquiries. The process didn't last that long since our place sold in five days at $7,000 above asking price with a cash offer and a 15-day escrow. Escrow delivered a few surprises during the inspection, but Maureen fielded these issues with aplomb and efficiency. We closed without a hitch. Buying and selling a home is a huge and important project--perhaps second only to a major medical procedure. Maureen Haney provided the expertise we needed to survive this process. read more

My family and I are so thankful we came across Ms. Haney while searching for our forever home. While she was not directly our agent, she remained professional and friendly. We have met other agents who scoff at you once you state you are already working with someone, not Maureen. We had been searching for months when she stated she was determined to help us find the right house. And boy did she ever! Once it was determined we wanted the home, she and our agent worked side by side. The process was extremely smooth. We highly recommend Maureen to anyone looking in the Glendora area. She truly is top notch. read more

We first worked with Maureen in the fall of 2008 - probably the worst time EVER to sell a house. She gave us great advice about the market and pricing. With great marketing we had an accepted offer in just 5 days. In the spring of 2012 we contacted Maureen again to represent us in the purchase of a home in Glendora. This time, it was a seller's market with tight inventory and multiple offers on every property. She stayed on top of the market and sent us great properties that fit our criteria - usually the same day they came on the market. She was willing to show us property on very short notice (same day when possible). We were able to secure a great house in a tough market. Great things about how Maureen does business: *She has a great team - her transaction coordinator kept us informed of what was happening and sent us documents promptly *She has great partners - from escrow and mortgage to service providers like home and termite inspectors, all of Maureen's vendors provide top-notch service at great prices *She is a communicator - text, email, phone - she uses them all which makes it super easy to get in touch with her, even on a moment's notice. *She is respected - Other area Realtors love to work with Maureen because she is such a professional - her offers get accepted because other Realtors LIKE her. read more

My wife and I were first time home buyers. And as with many first time buyers, the process can be scary and intimidating. We began the process with a realtor we had met some time ago. Unfortunately, he just wasn't giving us the results we wanted. While visiting family in Glendora, we got wind about how great Maureen is. The person referring her had mentioned how vast her knowledge was about the real estate business. So we thought we would give her a try. This turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. She paid close attention to our wants and provided us with great options to choose from. She was always available to answer our calls and questions. Even while in the middle of an open house for another client, she made sure to pick up the phone, or return our calls quickly, or have her assistant (Rebecca, who by the way was just as much a pleasure to speak to.) get back to us just as quickly. Her expertise and reputation in the business proved even more valuable during escrow. She helped us come in at the price we were comfortable with and I'm sure that was a result of the selling agent's willingness to work with a professional. Escrow has to be one of the more daunting parts of the whole process and Maureen helped calm our nerves. She must have answered a thousand and one questions by the end of it all. And her wide array of networks helped us take care of the things that needed care and attention. In the end, we felt we had the best representation and are extremely happy with the home she helped us find. And what's better, she was still available to help us answer questions, even after we've already moved in. What we got from Maureen was not only the best agent one could find, but also a great friendship. There is no doubt that we would love to have her represent us in all future sells/buys for as long as she's in the business. My wife and I highly recommend her. You won't regret it. read more

Maureen and her team made the sale of my home so easy and worry free. I kept waiting for the other shoe to fall but it didn't. After living in the same home for 28 years and loosing my wife to cancer almost 3 years ago, Maureen made this most difficult transition absolutely effortless. If you are even considering selling or looking to buy, you won't get better, warmer and more professional service anywhere. Thank you Maureen and your entire team!! read more

We listed our home for sale with Maureen and within days we were in escrow. After a long and rather difficult escrow (due to buyers situation, not anything done that could be done on our end) we have finally closed escrow! I can't imagine having to have gone through this process with anyone but Maureen. Day or night she would answer call or texts. She was able to navigate the sale of our home and the purchase of another home in an organized and efficient manner. When obstacles would arise she addressed them quickly and always had two or three options for resolution - she never left us hanging. From the start, Maureen was upfront with what needed to be done to sell our home. This included staging and Maureen recommended a designer and was there the day they they showed up to make sure everything was just perfect. Then came the photographer and videographer. The pictures turned out amazing. So many times we have scrolled through other listings and thought "wow", only to walk through the actual property and find disappointment that the property was not as portrayed in the pics due to extreme editing. Maureen uses a professional property photographer who does not over-edit the photos. This is so important! We have been through several real estate transactions before, and always had to deal with not knowing who was going to show up for a walk through and with Maureen this was not the case. From the start Maureen introduced us to her assistant should she ever not be available, but not once did Maureen not show up and send her assistant. Keep in mind we did NOT do a lock box so it was always necessary to have our realtor open our home. She always set appointments in advance and screened potential buyers, no last minute unqualified buyers were allowed in. I could keep going and going, but you will not regret using Maureen Haney for any of your real estate needs. Simply put, she is the best realtor around. read more

We have worked with Maureen in several ways over the last year and she is amazing! We bought our new home through her and she made the process seamless and painless! Maureen was a fantastic real estate agent! She is very professional and thorough from the very beginning. She representing my wife and I as both sellers and buyers.. And couldn't have asked for a better experience! We were able to sell our house in less than a week for over asking price. She has great communication throughout the entire process and works with a sense of urgency to close the deal and get the most for her clients. She is a top seller in our market and sells multi-million dollar homes as well as averaged priced homes. Our house fell into the "average" price range, but she made us feel like we were her only client. As long as she is a real estate agent, we will only go through her for our future needs! Highly recommended!! read more

Maureen was our agent on a relative's home we needed to sell. She priced the home perfectly, we had multiple offers and were in escrow within a week from when the house went on the market. Besides her real estate expertise and professionalism, she's down to earth and friendly, so she is very easy to work with.
