    Peanut cream top
    Elly P.

My favorite coffee shop in the Valley! Drinks: - Peanut Cream Top: my favorite since finding peanut butter items is difficult. The peanut cream has a deliciously strong peanut butter flavor. Unfortunately, if you drink the peanut cream first without mixing the drink, the rest of the drink is a little bland

Ordered an Einspanner agave latte for the first time and its good! You can also choose vanilla as opposed to agave which is a sweeter flavor. As usual theres a line but it goes by very quick.

So delicious and I understand why there's always a line. When I went in it was later in the afternoon so there was no wait. The place is a little small and not a lot of seating and parking is shared in the back. But honestly the coffee and customer service makes up for it. Definitely will be coming back again.

Stopped by because this shop is right next door to the UPS store but wow it was crowded. It's a very small space and there were so many people crowded in there. The coffee seems to be amazing that there's so much foot traffic here! I don't personally drink coffee but I love the smell, the non coffee menu has a few things to choose from! Parking is in the back and I easily found parking today (saturday) at 930am

Been back several times in the past year, including during the holidays, and their seasonal holiday drinks are delicious. I don't know what the calory count is but calories don't count during the holidays, right? Their EINSPANNER is super delicious. That dollop of cream on top is insanely good!!!! I don't always order sweetened espresso drinks, but when I do, it's Re's Einspanner! I think they use the same cream topper for their MATCHA which is also super delicious. Dude, the line to order does NOT go down. It goes fast but with the constant influx of customers, the line doesn't actually shorten. They use their own beans now too and they use DARK ROAST. They no longer use Canyon Coffee. Though the space is small, it instantly relaxes me. There is a free parking lot behind the shop accessible via the alley. Street parking is available on the streets surrounding too if you can find one.

    Einspanner Latte :)

I found this coffee shop by accident. We are picking up some patisserie near by and I just want to grab some coffee before we're heading back to the Bay Area. I ordered Einspanner latte with oat milk and my boyfriend loves it. He said it's the best coffee he has ever had in his life compared to all coffee that he has had around the world Asian, Europe and America. It gives the aroma off smoke but not bitter the cream on top is not too sweet and it blends well with coffee. Overall 10 out of 10 Service : fast. Nice the staff asked me to make sure that I want the cream on top which contains dairy products since I ordered with oat milk , yes I m lactose intolerant but I would love to try that. Different if we will go back if we're in SoCal :)

I tried both coffee and matcha Einspanner. Both were phenomenal. No complaints. 100/10

Two of us ordered: matcha tea $6.50 matcha einspanner $8 oat milk extra $0.75 Drinks were on the pricier side but the tea was good and smooth. Tough parking lot in the back. Some street parking available. Usually, there are some crazy long lines here, so luckily didn't have any issues.

I finally get the hype around this coffee--especially that cream top! I tried the caramel crème top, pistachio matcha, and their einslatte, and everything was delicious and full of flavor. The pistachio matcha really stood out; it tastes like creamy ice cream. The caramel crème top was just as good and super fun to drink. I also love that you can customize the sweetness of your drink. They have an amazing selection of pastries too. I tried the Dubai croissant, and it was absolutely divine. On top of that, the service was excellent--the staff were very friendly, made great recommendations, and explained everything clearly to us.

I literally dream about their Einspanner. Made to perfection every time. Bold flavors, silky cream top with just the right amount of sweetness. 20/10

Came around 8 AM on a Sunday and got lucky with no line, which is surprising since there's usually a crowd outside. The space is pretty small, but they have a few seats both inside and out. I ordered the iced pistachio matcha unsweetened, and it was amazing! SUPER creamy, smooth, and you can really taste both the matcha and pistachio. Their drinks are always consistent, and the service was quick. Parking was easy with a small lot in the back plus street options. Definitely a must-try spot in the Valley!

    A vanilla latte!
    Beatriz M.

I went to get a vanilla latte early in the morning and the latte was so good. The only problem was the customer service, cashier was rude to me when asking if one of the pastries had any mango on it and with an attitude she said is not mango is peach even my fried told me that she was not nice.

Surprised I haven't reviewed this golden spot yet but the drinks here are always well-crafted and worth it if you see the line short! Lol. The matcha here satisfies one's craving and they use ceremonial top grade matcha. They also offer their drinks in regular, almond, or oat milk ($.75 more) which is always a plus. Unfortunately I did see prices go up a dollar from a $6 matcha latte to $7 now compared to last year but it's definitely not breaking your bank if you get this and it's definitely worth it as it's a great blend of matcha/milk. PSA: On busy weekdays, I've noticed a parking guy in the back lot ensure that people can't park at the Habit lot and walk over! Just something to note so make sure to park at the correct lot right behind the cafe/UPS location. It's a small lot also but this spot is more of an in/out situation. Wouldn't recommend studying here since it's loud and super busy but some still do with headphones

Do they have decaf options? Everything looks so yummy but I am sensitive to caffeine unfortunately. TIA!

Yes! Just be sure to ask when you order :) My mom always get the peanut butter drink decaf 🥰

Is there a way to place an order ahead of time or online? For those of us who have work and are on the go.

Is it possible for the cream top to be dairy free? Can it be made with a plant based milk?

I believe the cream tops are all premade but doesn't hurt to ask!

How busy is there on the weekends?

It can get quite busy during peak morning hours

What are the qualifications to get a stamp card? Ordered a drink and pastry today and the two customers after me were asked and given stamp cards. I go here often too LOL

I had the Coconut Cloud with Matcha and it was perfectly refreshing. I also sampled the Biscoffee and it had a strong espresso flavor that was well complemented by the sweet cookie butter flavor. The bungeoppang was freshly prepared and well worth the $5.50 for 2; the hotteok flavor was my favorite. Overall, Peak is a wonderful space and a comfy place to study in. No wifi on Sundays though!

The Bischoffee or Banana Latte or Corn Coffee were all very tempting but I went for my preferred drink these days Strawberry Matcha although as I stood there waiting for my drink (which quite a bit longer than my friends American) I was regretting not trying one of their insane looking coffee drinks (aka deserts). My BF said his Americano was excellent, not acidic or bitter in any way. My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.

It's off Reseda and its parking lot is usually a hot spot among people. There is a good amount of parking but depending on the time, it fills up quickly and can feel tight trying to maneuver your way through and find a spot. Ambiance: Cafe 86 is a, they specialize in coffee and matcha and truly have an expansive menu featuring lots of delicious ube variations. There is a good amount of seating in the cafe, from normal tables to a couch to lounge on. The interior of the cafe is lined with brick and the warm lighting casts a soft cozy feeling. There is ample space to sit and enjoy your drink. I'd even say it's a good spot to study as it is spacious and does not get too loud. Drinks/food: We've tried the Iced Ube Matcha latte, Iced sea salt latte, Iced Ube Latte, as well as the Ube truffles. I love the ube flavor and it pairs perfectly with their matcha. They don't use the highest quality matcha but the ube flavor carries and still provides a nice tasty drink. The iced coffee was good, a little too sweet and kind of just an average latte, nothing to write home about. The ube truffles are something sweet that hit the spot if you have that sweet ube craving. They are soft and chewy and just the perfect bite. I am definitely biased in general because I really like ube so if you aren't the biggest fan you may not like it Overall this place does make their drinks on the sweeter side so going half sweet is smart if you don't want a blast of sugar. Service: Everyone thus far has been extremely friendly and welcoming! Overall: Cafe 86 is a solid spot if you are in the mood and have a craving for sweet, ube forward drinks and sweets. The menu is fun and unique, especially for anyone who enjoys ube flavors. The cafe itself offers a comfortable, inviting space that works well for hanging out or getting some work done. While the drinks can run on the sweeter side and some of the drinks are just average, the overall experience is still enjoyable. The friendly service and relaxed atmosphere is a calm choice for a new casual cafe stop, particularly if you are there for their ube specialties.

The other employees are great too btw everyone has a great attitude every time I've been, they handle the stress of the rushes well and are easy to relate to.
