    Original Bath/Shower
    David R.

Job is finished!!! Could not be happier!!! Matt and John did a super job!!! They were polite, informative, professional and clean!!! The plumber was very efficient. Nancy and Samantha in the office were fantastic!!! My neighbor is considering Re-Bath now. Our primary goal was to plan early enough as we age. Re-Bath has not disappointed us!!! 2 days as promised!!!

I was recommended to ReBath by Home Depot. The upside was the zero percent financing for 24 months. The downside was I was mislead by the salesman about my expectations of the entire job. Several times I asked about the tub covering and he stated it will be white I just needed to choose the wall colors. The price came out to be $8,300. It seemed high but there was a tear out of all the old tile replacing the valve, replacing some pipes and installing green board. Once I agreed, all paperwork was signed on his ipad and I expected a copy to be emailed for my review which I never received. David, the installer arrived on time and he stated it would take the entire day for completion. I returned at the end of the day only to be completely disappointed. The walls were completed and looked excellent but I was shocked when I the saw the unfinished tub. David stated the tub was not included in the job according to his paperwork. I stated I was completely dissatisfied and he would have his manage call me. It is one week and I have not received a follow up call. I will now have to get a contractor to reglaze this ugly tub at an additional cost. I cannot recommend ReBath.

This is what we had .

Re-Bath replaced our old tub/shower with a porcelain tile shower, it looks and works great, we're very happy with the result.

We recently contracted Norfolk Kitchen & Bath to do a complete renovation of our master bathroom,…read moreand we could not be happier. From the initial design process with Danielle we felt at home with her guidance, and she made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. Danielle was extremely knowledgeable, and put us on the right path with regard to our budget, design expectations and really helping us to understand how the entire process works. Right from the beginning, we knew we had reached out to the right company. Then came the build process, in which we were fortunate enough to work with Steve Costa who not only juggled a third-floor walk-up, a building from the late 1800s, but also an extremely pregnant woman who was keen on getting this project off the ground and completed as quickly as possible. Steve led a fantastic group of NKB employees and subcontractors, but I would be remiss to not give a special shoutout to John and Mike who were our dream team carpenters, kitchen décor experts, and mental support during the project. Our dog clearly misses Steve, John and Mike as they became best friends it seems during the project. Additionally, Kelsea from the PMA team was a huge help in keeping the schedule/accounting on track for us. We were THRILLED with the final product (photos attached), and we are so very thankful for all of the hard work of the entire NKB team to bring our dream bathroom to life (before the baby, may I add)! If you are looking to have work done, look no further than NKB. We know that we will be using them in the future when needed, with no doubts about it.

Our design person was good; however, the installers were a problem. There were a number of glaring…read moreerrors throughout (scheduling, coordination, project management, install errors, did not follow the design plan, etc.). Completion took more than twice the time they estimated. Once completed, the electrical system would not function. We requested the issues be fixed so the kitchen could be functional, but Norfolk Kitchens refused. They acknowledged the electrical problems existed, but stated because they were not legally obligated to remedy their poor workmanship because it was "up to code". Apparently new electrical systems don't have to function properly to meet "code". In our instance, Norfolk Kitchens failed to do work to a standard that resulted in a workable kitchen. Very poor workmanship.

There were 6 salespeople sitting at desk. One finally came up and told us we would have to talk to a salesman. Took us back and the salesman told told him that he would have to call the company to get a quote. Went back to the showroom and he told one of the other men that he did know how the "f" to do that. He did not abbreviate that as I did. He did not know we heard him. A female tried to help but she also said we should come back when Brendt was there. Brendt only gave us the booklet I have never seen such bad customer service. I know Douglas Lumber was sold. They are getting a bad reputation when they always had a good one. Went directly to Coventry Lumber and they could not have been more professional! Guess I will be going to them from now on.

They gave him the run around about special orders and blamed Anderson. So I called spoke to Dave who said a manager will call me back. 3 days later no call back. So I emailed the owner Steve Carlino. The return was 2k on 50k orders AND I probably KT would have done my kitchen and floors with them for the house we are building. He instantly read my email. He forwarded my email to his GM (gotta love email tracking tools). 3 days later STILL not a peep. I call back "o yes the owner got your email he will be reaching out to you". 2 days later STILL no reply . One more call, one more left message. Finally, Steve gets back to me with a BS answer same as his team gave my builder. BUT he did offer that if I spent another 75k (do my kitchen or floors with them) he'd give me a 2k credit. And then I could sell the windows on Craigslist. So I replied ...... and as expected received no reply. Hello Steven, I'm sorry to bother you on vacation and I hope the weather in Florida is as good as we had in Juno beach a few weeks ago. I tried contacting the management at Douglas and when I spoke with someone (Dave?) he was going to call me back and never did. I then took it upon myself to reach out to you directly over the weekend. A few more calls (3 to be exact) with the same results this week until your email now. The customer service experience so far has been lack luster to say the least. I'm pretty firm with our return policies too and sometimes we go over and above the polices when it makes sense to satisfy a customer, especially a new customer. It's pretty disappointing to hear the solution is: spend another 50k with Douglas then we will credit $2,000, which is something I'd likely get the sales rep to give me anyways in normal negotiations and "builder" discounts and so forth. Also I'll strap these windows to my roof, drive them home, and as you said go sell the two windows on Craiglist to a stranger. Maybe I'll invite him him to meet the kids and play with the dog. If it is your final decision to not put the product on your "Boneyard" Close-Out & Discontinued Items section and not refund or credit my builder or me the $2,500 for the two standard double hung santone windows then so be it. I will share my unpleasant experience with Douglas Lumber with our community and social media to let people know how my customer experience has been. Maybe me being a customer is insignificant to you (seems the way it is) and while margins are low as you say, they aren't that low. Even at a low 20% margin, which I am sure you make north of that, you still make 10k and minus 2.5k still leaves 7.5k on the bone, makes a customer happy, and likely would get repeat business for flooring and our kitchen. Don't bother setting up a store credit as we likely won't be purchasing anything else from Douglas Lumber. There are so many other companies who provide the same or similar products, the real differentiator for any non-OEM is customer service. Enjoy the rest of the vacation time.
