Before I used RDS delivery service, our business didn't need RDS. We had our own internal courier that delivered all of our orders. However, come Valentine's Day, we needed a company that could help us deliver our product at levels we have never seen before. We were looking at a 1000% increase in business over the space of 48 hours, and we needed someone who could really step up. Our business is a new one to New York, and I can safely say that before I worked with RDS I felt that we didn't need a company such as RDS. I needed to overnight a package from NYC to Long Island. Someone recommended RDS delivery and they provided the same day delivery. I asked for 12:30 pick up and 4:30 delivery. I wasn't quite ready with the package when the pick up person arrived but they waited patiently for about 10 minutes and delivered the package on time. The communication with the company and updates were great. I would recommend them to anyone needing a secure fast delivery! read more

Anybody who values their time and money should steer clear. I made my first and last order today and here's why: -I had a project that needed to be rush delivered for an urgent 5 PM deadline. RDS had solid reviews and said they could get it there on time. COOL. -Order was set to be picked up between 10:05-10:47 AM. COOL. -11:58 AM... Where is this guy? Decide to give them all call, getting a little nervous. -Customer Service, "Sorry for the delay, spoke to dispatch and they will be to you in 10 minutes." COOL. -12:59 PM... The guy is a no show, I call and cancel my order... Mid-way through explaining why I'm canceling, she hangs up. NOT COOL. At 1:05 PM I call MPH (another courier), they say they will have my package delivered 2 hours before the deadline. HELL YEAH. The guy shows up in within 20 minutes and my package was delivered well before the 5 PM deadline. Moral of the Story, RDS is unreliable and unprofessional. That uniform business is a gimmick, fools gold. Also received this "delivery" email from them about the package they never picked up: We wanted to let you know that your order # has been delivered. Since 2002 I've gotten genuinely polite service, all of my deliveries are done on time, quick responses to any inquiry and I love being able to do everything online - I don't even have to log in I just click on this icon they gave me and get right into my account. Once in I can arrange my deliveries, track them and even create labels in there since several of my deliveries go to the same place - it is in their address book so it is really quick to set up the delivery and run the label. It is very cool. When I've had some odd ball and stressful requests - they've really been helpful too. They seem to really care about helping us out and I recommend this company BIG TIME ANY TIME - really they rock! read more

No problem with fantastic service especially in a fast-paced facility where I'm working .BUT this company never failed to send STINK employees that have the worst BAD BREATH even not opening their mouth. While the service was good and delivery VERY fast and efficient, I do have a problem with companies who do not honor a price that is given over the phone. I scheduled a pick up and called back a few minutes later to change the pick up time. When the messenger arrived at the newly scheduled time, he charged me DOUBLE what I was quoted on the phone because he showed up to the office earlier that morning. The person on the phone NEVER mentioned that I would be charged if I changed the time - it was a very deceiving business practice. I paid to avoid the hassle but when I called to complain, the "supervisor" relayed that she did not care if the company lost the business over this and we are welcome to use someone else. Also, for the trip, they charged DOUBLE - they could have at the very least charged the base price. Disgusting!!! read more

worst delivery person we have ever gotten in over 10 years.Her name was Jane Rivera who delivered to 825 3rd ave on 6/4/2014.she brought up one cart of sodas to the 24th floor reception and i told her those go to the mailroom on 21 she said no it says 24th floor so thats where she is leaving it and started unloading right there and then told me she has another one for us and she needs to hurry up because her trucks going to get a ticket.i told her do not put it there she didnt listen she said next time put the right floor i dont have time for this and walked back to the elevator.i asked for her name she gave me it but when i asked what company she worked for she said she works for her own company and didnt wanna tell me the name, but i can see clearly she was wearing a RDS shirt.i told her if u have a delivery you have to deliver it to the right person not just drop it where ever you want it goes to the basement not here i know it says 24th floor on your slip but that's reception and yoou cant drop them there its suppose to go to the mailroom on 21.Our receptionist was very displeased with the way she carried herself and cant be more upset with RDS.i told her im not signing for it unless you bring it to the right place and she caught a even bigger attitude about how shes gunna get a ticket and that she doesnt have time for this bullshit.
