I needed a delivery service that was responsive and reliable. I never used RDS before found them in a Google search. Apprehensively, (since I never used RDS before and hadn't been recommended to use RDS) I made the call. I am so happy I did, Jocelyn was attentive, conscientious and responsive. I had an important pick up and delivery with specific parameters and it was made much earlier than anticipated. 5 Stars to RDS - extremely responsive - would highly recommend. read more

Before I used RDS delivery service, our business didn't need RDS. We had our own internal courier that delivered all of our orders. However, come Valentine's Day, we needed a company that could help us deliver our product at levels we have never seen before. We were looking at a 1000% increase in business over the space of 48 hours, and we needed someone who could really step up. Our business is a new one to New York, and I can safely say that before I worked with RDS I felt that we didn't need a company such as RDS. After the recent Valentine's Day, I can safely say that I can't envision my business running without them! I have seen the negative reviews on here for this company, and I honestly shocked. My experience was as far from these as you can get. I had what was possibly the greatest level of customer service I have ever had. EVER. From the dispatch staff to the owner Larry, everyone goes over and above to get the job done and to ensure that my product is delivered in not only a timely manner, but by the friendliest, most professional staff I have ever seen. The face of the company and it's biggest brand asset are it's people, and every single one of the RDS delivery team are A++. I had such an incredible experience working with RDS, that I am going to find a way for our start-up to work with them for the whole year, not just the key days where our product delivery needs spike. I felt the need to give this extended review, as this company and these people really deserve it and rocked my world this week. I look forward to working with them in the future. I needed to overnight a package from NYC to Long Island. Someone recommended RDS delivery and they provided the same day delivery. I asked for 12:30 pick up and 4:30 delivery. I wasn't quite ready with the package when the pick up person arrived but they waited patiently for about 10 minutes and delivered the package on time. The communication with the company and updates were great. I would recommend them to anyone needing a secure fast delivery! read more

I'm an office manager at an ad agency in downtown Manhattan--not only have I never had any problems with RDS, but also every employee that works for them is fantastic! The president of the company is super cool, wrote me a really nice email in response to some kind feedback I had provided to him. Seriously, I will not even consider using anyone else. read more

Anybody who values their time and money should steer clear. I made my first and last order today and here's why: -I had a project that needed to be rush delivered for an urgent 5 PM deadline. RDS had solid reviews and said they could get it there on time. COOL. -Order was set to be picked up between 10:05-10:47 AM. COOL. -11:58 AM... Where is this guy? Decide to give them all call, getting a little nervous. -Customer Service, "Sorry for the delay, spoke to dispatch and they will be to you in 10 minutes." COOL. -12:59 PM... The guy is a no show, I call and cancel my order... Mid-way through explaining why I'm canceling, she hangs up. NOT COOL. At 1:05 PM I call MPH (another courier), they say they will have my package delivered 2 hours before the deadline. HELL YEAH. The guy shows up in within 20 minutes and my package was delivered well before the 5 PM deadline. Moral of the Story, RDS is unreliable and unprofessional. That uniform business is a gimmick, fools gold. Also received this "delivery" email from them about the package they never picked up: We wanted to let you know that your order # has been delivered. 4th time using them today and 4th time the messenger who picked up the package was really nice and professional. I worked in hotels for over 10 years and dealt with A LOT of messengers. RDS is by far the most professional I have ever used. The one time I called there, the person on the phone was great too. read more

This is one of the best delivery services ever!!! I live pretty far over in Alphabet City and need to get things from midtown supply stores quite often. So it makes sense to have things picked up and delivered to me, saves me time and money. All the guys that have helped me out have been so professional and great to work with. I love supporting a local business also. read more

My company uses RDS when we have delivery jobs bigger than what I can comfortably handle in my 3 vehicles. They are always professional, on-time, and easy to work with. It makes my job easier to know that I can trust RDS as a delivery partner for my overflow capacity. I know I can count on them for quality service, every time. Highly recommended! read more

The absolute best delivery service in all of New York City region. These guys are so great to work with. A great staff will answer all of your questions. Throughout the day emails are sent out for confirmation of pickup, transit information, ETA for drop off. They have an extremely accurate website that makes it easy to pay online and follow your delivery throughout the day. They specialize in multiple pickup/drop off or single location pickup/drop off. This is a company that is based upon reassuring the client of safety of goods transfer, communication, and all around reliable service. Since you actually speak to people and not automated systems, they are able to accommodate your specific needs. After sifting through the hundreds of other delivery services in the city and surrounding region, we can confidently state that this is the absolute best! I've use RDS at multiple companies I've worked for and was so happy to see my new job is already using them for messenger service! They can manage one off shipments as well as more complicated multi box, multi destination orders. Today I had to pull reports for the last few months and Larry responded by email right away saying Beianca would give me a call. She did and was extremely helpful and clear on getting me all the answers I needed! Good customer service goes a long way! I highly recommend RDS for all of your messenger needs in the NYC area! read more

I used RDS to transport several items, a mix of large and small, within Manhattan. I will absolutely use them again and refer them to others. Communication prior to the job was outstanding. They provided me with the required certificates of insurance very quickly and assisted me with all questions. Katrina was our rep and was fantastic. The guys who did the move were also great. They treated everything perfectly and were extremely polite and professional. I received email updates when items were picked up and finally delivered. This will be our new regular messenger and delivery service. read more

My company only uses RDS Delivery - after using other companies thru the years , the difference with RDS is COMMUNICATION and RESPONSIVENESS. They have professional team from first call to messengers, to clean trucks to follow up after the delivery. read more

No words can express how wonderful the staff of RDS Delivery are!!! Our company was in need of a delivery service, and after reading reviews I selected RDS. From my first phone call with Crystal I knew I had chosen right!!! Everyone...from the delivery staff all the way to top management....is kind, courteous, prompt, but most of all very professional and helpful! They go out of their way to see that your needs are met. We are in Texas and had to make arrangements by phone and/or email until we arrived in NYC. RDS made everything smooth and easy. It was an absolute pleasure to talk to them every time! Highly impressed with the staff at RDS... We called for a courier service and with out hesitation the RDS team responded with a recommendation and guidance to help with our requirements. RDS made the unpleasant trek to USDA JFK and managed to problem solve too. Very impressed with the service.

Since 2002 I've gotten genuinely polite service, all of my deliveries are done on time, quick responses to any inquiry and I love being able to do everything online - I don't even have to log in I just click on this icon they gave me and get right into my account. Once in I can arrange my deliveries, track them and even create labels in there since several of my deliveries go to the same place - it is in their address book so it is really quick to set up the delivery and run the label. It is very cool. When I've had some odd ball and stressful requests - they've really been helpful too. They seem to really care about helping us out and I recommend this company BIG TIME ANY TIME - really they rock! read more

No problem with fantastic service especially in a fast-paced facility where I'm working .BUT this company never failed to send STINK employees that have the worst BAD BREATH even not opening their mouth. This company should run physical exams for its workers and practice a good physical hygiene. I almost finished a bottle of disinfectant spray every time they come for pick-up. read more

While the service was good and delivery VERY fast and efficient, I do have a problem with companies who do not honor a price that is given over the phone. I scheduled a pick up and called back a few minutes later to change the pick up time. When the messenger arrived at the newly scheduled time, he charged me DOUBLE what I was quoted on the phone because he showed up to the office earlier that morning. The person on the phone NEVER mentioned that I would be charged if I changed the time - it was a very deceiving business practice. I paid to avoid the hassle but when I called to complain, the "supervisor" relayed that she did not care if the company lost the business over this and we are welcome to use someone else. Also, for the trip, they charged DOUBLE - they could have at the very least charged the base price. Disgusting!!! read more

I couldn't live in NYC without RDS. I am a long time client and huge fan of this professional delivery service, and use them almost weekly. They are THE best in the city. From the customer service team who takes your order (when sometimes I decide I need to talk to a human) to the people who show up to pick up and deliver the goods, right down to the billing team, when i need a replacement receipt. Hand deliver an envelop or move an antique to get refinished - they can do it all. Always on time. As promised. Never had a problem. Highly recommend. read more

worst delivery person we have ever gotten in over 10 years. Her name was Jane Rivera who delivered to 825 3rd ave on 6/4/2014.she brought up one cart of sodas to the 24th floor reception and i told her those go to the mailroom on 21 she said no it says 24th floor so thats where she is leaving it and started unloading right there and then told me she has another one for us and she needs to hurry up because her trucks going to get a ticket.i told her do not put it there she didnt listen she said next time put the right floor i dont have time for this and walked back to the elevator.i asked for her name she gave me it but when i asked what company she worked for she said she works for her own company and didnt wanna tell me the name, but i can see clearly she was wearing a RDS shirt.i told her if u have a delivery you have to deliver it to the right person not just drop it where ever you want it goes to the basement not here i know it says 24th floor on your slip but that's reception and yoou cant drop them there its suppose to go to the mailroom on 21.Our receptionist was very displeased with the way she carried herself and cant be more upset with RDS.i told her im not signing for it unless you bring it to the right place and she caught a even bigger attitude about how shes gunna get a ticket and that she doesnt have time for this bullshit. I could not believe how rude this person was.i told her im contacting her boss and she said i work for myself.never again will we let her back in this building.she deserves to be fired for the way she she talked to the client and didnt care about getting her stuff delivered to the right place. read more
