We love our experience with RDS Flooring. Sandra was incredibly responsive and attentive and answered all our questions. The flooring crew handled our floor in 3 days and turned hideous to Amazing. We recently purchased a house where the previous owner painted the floor black, not stained, but painted it over the original poly. We thought the black paint would doom us to having a dark 6 to our surprise, we were able to go much lighter with Early American. The previous owner also removed a fireplace but didn't repair the flooring properly. There was an outline of where the fireplace was due to their bad flooring repairs. RDS completely repaired that, and now you can't tell anything was ever there. We are very happy with the work, with Sandra and the entire business. Once Sandra was done measuring he space we discussed what material I was interested in and possible colors. The very next day Sandra sent me examples of floor colors based on our conversation. After I picked a color she was able to provide an estimate that evening. Once I was received the quote I was very pleased with the price. Most times when you are getting this type of work done it take a long time for the company to have an available date, RDS not only had a date only a week away, Sandra let me know that they had a cancellation and that they could move my appointment up. Another think I was impressed with was the crews punctuality, I was given an arrival window of 9:30-10:00 am and they arrived right on time. There wasn't just one or two people, there were 4 people on the crew and they finished working in a timely fashion. They arrived at 10 and finished by 4:30. On 2/5/22, I contacted RDS to replace engineered hardwood flooring and LVP in the entire downstairs of my house that was damaged from a broken pipe. Sandra responded to my post within minutes and we were able to schedule a visit for the next day (even though it was a Sunday which is not a typical workday for her). We met on 2/6 to discuss the project and I received an estimate the following day (2/7) and if accepted, to start the project on 2/14. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other estimates I received. I was most excited to move forward with RDS because I had the ability to purchase my own flooring instead of buying the floor through the contractor and having to pay an additional markup. I purchased my flooring and was ready for start on 2/14, however, Sandra contacted me and said they would be able to start on 2/11. I was very excited about this since my flooring was damaged 3 months before. The team came out on time to move furniture and to start removing the old hardwood. I was happy that the team covered everything with plastic including the paintings and TV on the walls because of the impending dust that would be generated from removing the hardwood. The team worked diligently throughout the 2 days to complete the replacement of the floors and it was done to perfection, I love my new floor. Sandra and the team are very pleasant. It felt like I knew them for a long time. She shared pictures and stories of her and her family. I am pleased with the results, so much that I requested a quote to do my stairs.
