I would give more stars for the cleaning itself less stars for the management. The cleaners did a great job! My issue is I waited for them to arrive for 3 hours and the owner wasn't very responsive. They were supposed to come between 11-12. They ended up getting there at 2pm. So I waited 3 hours for the cleaning service. When she finally replied she said she didn't have service but she sent me a msg on yelp which I couldn't use since I had no wifi since this was a move in clean. She said they were going to be late but she didn't give any specifics. I had to have my husband send a message on yelp from my iPad at home since I had no wifi asking her to call me. I also text and called for about 40 min before I got a response. Once I did get a response I was told they would be there within an hour (which would have been already over 2 hours waiting). They didn't get there until 2pm. I was quoted $140-$180 for a 1000 sq ft move in cleaning for a 2 bedroom house. After all this I expected and requested a discount since I literally could have done the cleaning myself in the 3 hrs I waited. She charged me the max of $180 and added on deep cleaning the cabinets. The cabinets are old and definitely needed cleaning but the basic cleaning was included in the price. When I saw the cabinets after they looked clean but there weren't any stains prior (just scrapes and scratches since they're old) they literally looked the same just no debris which to me would have been the same with the basic cleaning. I expressed my concern to the owner and she seemed annoyed and told me they threw in the deep cabinet clean for free. I'm like I waited 3 hrs. You guys couldn't have made it the cheaper price and thrown in the deep clean I didn't ask for? I also thought the windows cleaning was included which was my fault bc it says it wasn't on the paper but I'm like I waited 3 hours and am paying the max you can't throw in the windows too? She was very short and didn't seem too concerned about the inconvenience. I originally hired cleaners because the old owner left the place in bad condition and we have had to do so much thus far just to make it livable I wanted to save time but this took 5+ hours including wait time so I could have definitely just done it. The cleaning took only 2 hours so I waited longer than the cleaning took. Not to mention this house isn't moved in yet so waiting there for 3 hours was really uncomfortable. If they get there on time and respond it's a good price and good clean but if not it's not worth it. Huge headache. read more

Update: Point proven with managerial response. Extremely poor customer service. The cleaning job was satisfactory if it wasn't riddled with the managerial rudeness. Something broken after a cleaning job with photos to prove it wasn't broken before- yep I'm in the wrong. Do not worry though they will respond with a very long copy and paste statement of how we are wrong and it must've been there before (again photos to prove it wasn't). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! RCS was very responsive to my inquiry however the cleaning team was 2.5 hours late. No one called me to notify me. I had to reach out to the owner via Yelp messages to confirm if anyone was coming. The owner responded and said the team is running behind and would arrive by 2-3pm. Scheduled arrival was for 12-1pm. I know people need to work so I agreed to wait. At 3:23pm I messaged the owner to cancel but the team arrived at 3:33pm I messaged the owner asking for a discount for the inconvenience. All she had to do was offer 10% off or add in a smaller service as service recovery. But instead I received an angry call accusing me of taking advantage of her small business. I tried to explain my point of view but it was met with disdain. Since she wasn't going to compromise, I told her thank you for your time, let's agree to disagree and I will just leave a negative review. Unfortunately the customer service is severely lacking. Yes I agreed to wait but not 2.5 hours after the promised time. When I voiced my disapproval it was received with aggression and disrespect. The owner demanded that I pay what was agreed upon but I guess timely service and being treated with respect is not included. I explained to the owner that I had to take time off from work to met the cleaning crew. Instead of waiting 2.5 hours I could have been working to support my family. Unfortunately respect only runs one way for this company. At this point, her team is still cleaning the house and they probably will do a good job but the owner ruined the entire experience for me. Three stars for fitting me in so quickly. Staff arrived very, very late (more than 1 hour). Two cleaning staff were dispatched to my 1,000 home. We asked that the office not be cleaned since we were working in it (so deduct about 100 sq feet of house cleaned). Whole appointment was less than 75 minutes. $150 plus tip for 900 sq feet. Many parts of the home and furnishings were not touched, cleaned or dusted. I did not feel a thorough cleaning was performed. I wasn't expecting a deep clean (baseboards, ceiling fans, door trims etc.) but I was expecting an overall thorough cleaning. Dining room table wasn't dusted. They did such a great job, my house felt like it was new, plus it smelled amazing. An honest review would be 0 stars. Paid for move out cleaning service with bathrooms and kitchen. And paid extra for inside oven. The picture given to us said general cleaning included baseboards and vacuuming stairs. Baseboards were dirty a majority of the rooms. The microwave was greasy when touched by handle as well. The stair were dusty. Side tables were dusty and spotted like it wasn't even touched. The only good thing I have to say is that the toilets were cleaner than what they were before we moved in. Customer service was bad, some might consider rude. They tried to come and do the spots they missed. Last minute notice wasn't doable with a regular job. Instead of trying to reschedule we wanted a refund. They offered a $35 refund, with the amount of cleaning still needed it was easily $50 worth of services. We accidentally paid an extra $50 when we forgot about the security deposit had been already paid. Instead of giving us that money back our contact person complained that we failed to mention we had a 3 story townhouse. When giving details for an estimate this was never asked. Only square footage and the number of rooms and bathrooms. So the only refund we will get is the $35. read more

Alrighty from the top. There was a slight delay in the teams arrival, but I was notified prior to the arrival window by the main office. So that was not an issue at all as California traffic causes delays, even with the best kept schedule. When the team arrived they were all polite and asked if there were any specific areas that I was concerned about. I noted a couple of areas and asked that they clean the refrigerator. I was told upfront that the refrigerator would be an extra fee which was not an issue (after they cleaned it, it looked like it was brand new, well worth it). The biggiest issue with the cleaning was the dust, which they took care of without issue. All of the surfaces were cleaned, mirrors shined and floors swept, dusted, then mopped. However I decided to give them a shot anyway and am really happy with my decision to do so. Three technicians were sent to my 4bdr 3 bathroom home. They notified me 30 minutes in advance of their arrival and were right on time to clean my home. All three technicians were friendly and worked extremely hard to get my home cleaned. If you want something done right I guess the moral is do it yourself. I hired this company for a deep move in clean and then ended up with this. Will have to spend time doing it myself. This was after I was asked if all was good and pointed out the issues. Also after they tried to up-charge me $255 to clean windows and tell me there was a lot of construction dust. The owner was not so friendly. The sister that was here was trying but her staff didn't seem very well trained. I really was hoping for a better experience as I need someone to come back every few weeks to clean for me. Having back surgery and can't/not supposed to do myself. Just spent over an hour re-cleaning tubs, shower and sinks from things "that won't come off". A little elbow grease and effort and it came clean. Also noted that they didn't clean the outside of the shower surround or tub surrounds. Cleaned before I could take picture but have pics of all the dirt i the cracks and crevices. I have been using various cleaning services for a few years now... and it's difficult to maintain same cleaning services because of inconsistency of the quality of their work. I found RCS and took a chance of hiring their services. My appointment was between 3-4 pm. The crew of 3 arrived within the time frame... which work perfectly for me since I get out from office within those hours. My first time to have a 3 people cleaning crew. I was impressed already... before the work even started. Since I hired them not for deep cleaning but standard cleaning. I told them what matters to me most when cleaning our place.
