I contacted him and during our discussion I lamented that I'd have to get a new computer, as I'd been told that Windows 11 couldn't be installed on my computer as it was too old. Jerry remembered my computer and said that Windows 11 absolutely could be installed on my computer. With us now living in Texas, I wasn't sure remote access would work from South Dakota. It did - it worked perfectly. Jerry always goes the extra mile to ensure everything is operating as it should be. Jerry saved us over $1,000 today since we didn't need a new computer. We are grateful Jerry was able to extend the life of our computer! R. Renee

I brought my iPhone to Computer Village to have the battery replaced after it dropped into the 70%…read morerange. I paid in advance, as required by their store policy, and left the phone with them overnight. The next day, I received a call from a staff member named Pete, who told me they couldn't complete the battery replacement because one of the screws was stripped. When I picked up the phone and examined it myself, I found the left screw completely stripped with visible fresh tool marks--clear signs it had been recently damaged. I immediately called the store to ask how this had happened. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they insisted the phone was already in that condition when I brought it in. That's simply not true. I purchased this phone brand new and have never had it opened or worked on before this visit. There's no way that kind of damage existed beforehand. The staff at Computer Village refused to take any responsibility for the damage they caused, leaving me with a phone they not only didn't fix, but actually made worse. I've attached a photo--you can judge for yourself. I cannot recommend this place. If you care about your device, look elsewhere

I thought that I was going to lose everything that I had prepared for this critical business meeting. I had a very important PowerPoint presentation to give the next day and I only had a few hours left to get immediate help to prevent an embarrassing phone call to my client. Lynne, the owner of Fast Teks, was very helpful and reassuring! I brought my lap top in after our phone conversation and she rushed it right to her tech for an expedite virus removal. I really thought that it was the end for my laptop with the way that it was running. Lynne told me that it was in good hands and that she would give me a call when it was ready to pick up. I ventured out downtown to soak in the beautiful historic city to kill some time. I was trying not to stress about the business meeting but it remained in the back of my mind. Just before I picked up the phone from the table to check on my laptop it was Lynne calling me with great news! They brought it back to life & all of my files were safe and sound! Lynne & her tech really came through for me and I can't thank them enough!! As a result I hit the ball out of the park the next day with my client! It's a breath of fresh air when a business owner like Lynne can make a difference for someone in a situation like mine! Well done Fast Teks!!
