The majority were windthrown -- uprooted entirely, leaving partially exposed root balls more than six feet across -- making the terrain around the cabin nearly impassable and the forest damage extensive. To busy, not a big enough job, to far away, wrong equipment, all legitimate reasons, I live between Hermosa and Key stone on Highway 40 so its not very convenient especially for a small job like mine. I left a message with these guys and Ashley called me the next day. She said it was out of their territory but had a job coming up later in the summer in that area and they could get it done for me. This conversation was in June. She called me in late July and said they would get it done a couple weeks after the rally when they finished in Hot Springs. That job fell through. She knew a guy that might be able to to the job and would have him get in touch with me. Ashley told me if he didn't call within a couple weeks to call her and they would come down and take care of my tree for me. That is what kind of company that will take care of you, its a two hour drive one way for them. The guy they recommended call me within days and my tree and other slash removed within two weeks. Tree Wise Men made no money off this job but made my day. Don't know to many companies would put that much effort in just to help a person out. Bravo! Doesn't get any better than that.

They told us we could control the fungus, but the tree would eventually die, and suggested we don't waste our money on the treatment. The company also looked at the other trees in our yard without us asking them too. The company did not try to up sale us on things we did not need, nor did they push us to hire them to remove the tree. They simply came out, diagnosed the tree, and suggested what type of trees we should plant once we remove the infected tree. when it comes time to remove the infected tree, they will be the company I call.
