Main purpose was to kill weeds but also to fertilize the lawns. They always call ahead of time so I have time to get my dogs inside before they start spraying. This year they were way behind schedule due to two late spring snow storms and a lot of rain. As a result, I had a lot of dandelions to deal with but once they sprayed that problem was solved. They are very good at closing gates so the dogs do not get away, not walking on the garden and watching where their hose goes so it does not do damage as they drag it behind them. My lawn looks great.

Received an email from her what would be included in the service. It was clear she didn't listen to anything I had said and the email was nothing to what was asked to do on the properties. They told us we could control the fungus, but the tree would eventually die, and suggested we don't waste our money on the treatment. The company also looked at the other trees in our yard without us asking them too. The company did not try to up sale us on things we did not need, nor did they push us to hire them to remove the tree. They simply came out, diagnosed the tree, and suggested what type of trees we should plant once we remove the infected tree. when it comes time to remove the infected tree, they will be the company I call.

When a historic windstorm tore through Custer State Park during the night of December 17th-18th,…read more2026, it left our over 100-year-old cabin surrounded by devastation. Sustained high winds, with gusts exceeding 90 mph, brought down 11 mature trees, most between 80 and 110 feet, around our property. The majority were windthrown -- uprooted entirely, leaving partially exposed root balls more than six feet across -- making the terrain around the cabin nearly impassable and the forest damage extensive. In the aftermath, we called Deep Roots Tree Service, and from the very first contact, Jared Price set the tone for an outstanding experience. He was timely for every appointment, prompt with phone calls, and kept every promise he made -- no exceptions. In a situation that was already stressful, that kind of reliability meant everything. What truly sets Jared apart, though, is the way he approaches his work. You can tell he genuinely loves working with trees and holds a deep respect for them -- even in the context of removal and cleanup. Watching him work, it's clear this isn't just a job; it's a craft he cares about. The crew cleared all 11 fallen trees and placed the debris in an area required by the Park. The result was impressive, especially given the scale and difficulty of the storm damage. If you need tree service in the Rapid City area, look no further. Deep Roots Tree Service earns our highest recommendation -- five stars, without hesitation.

To busy, not a big enough job, to far away, wrong equipment, all legitimate reasons, I live between Hermosa and Key stone on Highway 40 so its not very convenient especially for a small job like mine. I left a message with these guys and Ashley called me the next day. She said it was out of their territory but had a job coming up later in the summer in that area and they could get it done for me. This conversation was in June. She called me in late July and said they would get it done a couple weeks after the rally when they finished in Hot Springs. That job fell through. She knew a guy that might be able to to the job and would have him get in touch with me. Ashley told me if he didn't call within a couple weeks to call her and they would come down and take care of my tree for me. That is what kind of company that will take care of you, its a two hour drive one way for them. The guy they recommended call me within days and my tree and other slash removed within two weeks. Tree Wise Men made no money off this job but made my day. Don't know to many companies would put that much effort in just to help a person out. Bravo! Doesn't get any better than that.
