RC Burgers is a great local spot to enjoy a welcoming meal with friends and family. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I visited with my family and staff was quick to accommodate seating for my big group. I ordered a regular cheeseburger combo and thought it was amazing! The burger had the perfect amount of dressing and veggies. Additionally, the fries were so good! They were crispy and seasoned just right--exactly how I like them. I really loved the fried chicken dinner, which comes with salad, soup,bread, fries, some fried zucchini and onion rings. (it's other location on Firestone only has not rings or zucchini). The chicken is crisp and non-greasy, with a flavorful sweet batter used. the fries were a bit soggy. They were out of Italian salad dressing. A chicken burrito we ordered was large, and made the way you like it. the attendant at the register was very polite and helpful, and he came around to check on the satisfaction of the order at our table. There was plently of parking, and the restaurant looked clean. I would definitely return to this location, even thought the Sam's on Firestone is closer to work. UPDATE: It is unfortunate that on my recent visit, I was very disappointed by the treatment of a different cashier on the Tues. June 14, 2011 evening that I was there. When I asked for a cup of water, he told me that he could only SELL me bottled water, but minutes later, he gave a free cup of water to another customer! I ordered two combos that should have both included soup. As I was dining, I asked the cashier why was there no soup included. He said that they were out. He never told me this upfront when I ordered, and he did not offer a substitute or a partial refund. He only became apologetic when he realized that I was a steady customer, and finally offered water, but by then I was leaving and it was too late. Attempts to reach the owner by phone were not successful, so I have to feel that the Sam's group of restaurants does not care about customer satisfaction. read more

It's a pretty cool hole in the wall, they also don't serve Burgers BTW, they have Seafood, Steak, Breakfast and more that I can't mention. I have found it. My new favorite greasy diner. Huge menu, low prices, quick service, nothing to complain about. Two visits thus far: Taco Salad: This can be easily two meals. I came to have breakfast with my mom like always, and the fat lady who works here didn't let me get a refill..I was literally already at the drink machine to get some more drink, and she said I'm cleaning it and it's going to take awhile. The worst, i even got sick! $30 to waste, i ordered a molcajete ; which had no flavor i cam swear the meat was microwaved.the salsa tasted like tomato can. The Coffe had a terrible taste! Been going here since I was young, the food is just amazing! Will always be a huge fan! Its always clean, neat, and the employees are awesome. This is an authentic Mexican Restaurant. Great place to take the family out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is great always making sure your having a good meal. A good place to go and watch sport games on week days. I thought I was coming to Sams for breakfast to see RC Burger over the top. I'm guessing they changed owners? We stayed anyway... big mistake! ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Didn't get that, instead got over easy eggs covered in red sauce and green sauce. Wasn't on top of a tortilla or anything else that would even resemble what I ordered. Beans were dry. Food had no flavor, used lots of salt to make it taste like something. Super disappointed. Spent $25.88 on two breakfast and two drinks. Yeah... never again! read more

First time going a few days ago, never again. These peeps rush everything! While waiting on a family pack, at least 3 people had to return because they're plate was incorrect. Weird place, it's a hamburger spot/mariscos/bar and who knows what more. When getting gone the feed my family, hamburgers were wrapped so poorly (never seen that in my 35 years alive), fries had NO seasoning (I mean come on that's like fries 101), oh and the onion rings (smelled good but tasted like nothing, couldn't understand that either). got bacon cheezeburger and chili cheeze fries and small coke. 9 bucks. i have only been here one other time, so i decided to give it another try. disappointment, like they don't know whats going on. the meat of the burger was good, as most all beef is. but the bacon was extremely fatty. i want bacon on my burger, not a slab of pork fat. the bacon fat was chewy and took away from the burger. Lettuce was actually the heart of an iceburg lettuce head broken in two. all white and yellow. no green lettuce. so i had to take it out. very disappointing. i have never wanted to not eat a burger, this one was a shocker. Chili cheeze fries were done by somebody that had no idea what was going on. THEY PUT WHOLE RINGS OF RED ONIONS ON CHILI-CHEESE FRIES!!! I was like, wow! never seen that before. so, i had to take them off. underneath was white jack cheeze. MONTEREY JACK CHEEZE AND WHOLE RED ONIONS ON CHILI-FRIES. shocking almost to the point of an insult. what was worse? the chili... you could tell the chili was a bargin brand they bought canned at resturant depot or even the bargain brand at smart and final. pieces of intestine and other "non-meat" meat inside the chili. that's gross. and it was a small size container, not a large one like everywhere else in the world. i try my best to support the local small buisnesses, but after this amazingly shocking dissapointing order, i will never go back and tell others not to go there either. i would like a reimbursment of $8.54. read more

If I could give this place anything lower. I would. Came here on a friday morning. Worst decision ever. It semmed pretty busy but there was no line when we got there. Right when we wanted to order the cashier left and had us waiting. When she finally came she didnt even smile nor did she act polite. The same lady then caused a scene by telling some employers to go back in already (I figure they were on break) because they needed more help. Instead of going up to them and asking nicely. She yelled it out and gave them attidude. Our food had no flavor what so ever. When I asked for honey the people gave me attidude and just pointed to where it was. Both people that I asked rolled there eyes at me. HOLD UP. I work at a restaurant and even though we get pretty busy. We NEVER give costumers bad attidude. Seriously. How do they even work here. This is a little place in the Norwalk Town Square on Pioneer and Rosecrans which does both American food (in the way of burgers&fries and the like) and also Mexican food. I happened in here one day. The atmosphere borders on the more unwelcoming side - not too many people, kinda dim, but isn't all that bad.... The service is slow. The mexican food is not too great - not that it's really bad, I would say that it's just barely below average to be exact. If you want American food (in the way of burgers and fries), go to In-N-Out. If you want Mexican food, go to a little authentic hole-in-the-wall place, not Sam's Burgers. Most places that specialize in two diverse things typically do not do a *great* job on either. :) read more

Came here bc I had a coupon, and it was close to work. It's a sit down where they bring your food to you, but you order from the cashier. The food came out very quickly, probably because all they had to do was reheat it. I got the carne asada plate, which came with a large portion of meat (tough) and some sides, and my friend ordered the steak, which was tough. The place itself is a bit ghetto, but they have a large selection and most all plates are under $11. read more

I've come here a few times now and I gotta say it's pretty darn good. The place is a little colorful, but gentle on the amount of light light - a fun look. Very welcoming, not dim at all! It's seats a few dozen people. There's a juke box. The burgers are good; better than "In-and-Out," "Wendy's," "Jack-in-the-Box;" there's only a few places better, but none for dozens of miles ("Tops" in Pasadena is better). They make KILLER fried zucchini and great onion rings. This Sam's is better than the one at Firestone and Studebaker. Overall, the place is surprisingly good. In quality, similar to "Jim's" on Telegraph. Good, good, good! read more

Catching up on my reviews. About a month ago while in the shopping center, I got a craving for French fries. My roommate just got some the night before and they looked so good. The serving also seemed generous. But this time as luck would have it, my fries were messed up. As I was getting down to the final few fries, I noticed something black at the bottom. In the future if this happens I will take pictures. I couldn't tell what it was, but it didn't look good. I showed it to my roommate who just came out of the liquor store and drove us back to rc. My roommate is not as calm as I am so he and the manager kind of went back and forth because the manager immediately asked to take back the black object as if he was getting rid of evidence. He believed it came off of a chicken which got mixed in with the fries. That didn't make me feel good either. So we left because this wasn't going anywhere. Tip: Bring your student ID and get a student discount :D So me and my friend had gotten out of class a little early and since this place was right down the street from our school we decided to give this place a try. Parking was a bit of a hassle because there are other businesses in the same lot. Anyway, I went in and and decided to try out the classic quarter pound cheeseburger with fries. Girl working the cashier asked me if I had a student id and she gave me a student discount which I was very happy for! There is a little salsa bar inside where guests can get as much salsa or chiles as they pleased (another thing I was happy about) When I got my food I was very surprised at the amount of food that was on my plate. The burger was HUGE and my plate was covered in fries. I was one happy camper lol I bit into my burger and it was just delicious. Super juicy and fresh. My fries were crispy and hot just the way I like them. Over all good service, great food! I can't wait to come back again and try out their breakfasts. The reason i'm giving it 4 stars is because like I mentioned parking can sometimes be a drag because there are various little businesses located on the same lot so finding a spot can be difficult and also because it can get REALLY packed with sometimes loud College students on break. So be prepared to either fight for a table or make your order to go. read more
