Almost one year ago my results from a PSA test indicated over 18; a very alarming fact because I had absolutely no symptoms whatsoever. I was referred to Dr Razi from my primary doctor and was able to get in to see him in about a weeks time. After a confirmatory re-test, Dr. Razi explained clearly the course of action recommended and laid out all the possible treatments based on the outcome of the biopsy. The staff is clearly busy but I never had any issues with scheduling or insurance clearance, they always returned my calls in due time. To make this long story shorter, The advice and care I received from Dr. Razi was perfect in my case, I will chalk it up to his years of knowledge and experience with my issue and now I am considered cancer free! read more

Had an apt today staff was great but the doctor didn't seem to interested in my bladder issue he ruled it out as if it's normal to have six urinary track infection a year Well I did not ask to see a specialist I was referred to him. By Dr Rossetti It seem like it was a bother to him to do any further testing however as reluctant as he was he is going to do some further testing but i am not feeling to comfortable .I feel like I had to twist his arm to do that So I will leave a follow up review after that apt Note : I had a ultrasound three weeks prior ready for him and they also insisted on doing one it was so short quick one two seconds done over with get out one photo snap why bother why even his assistant said why bother and she chuckled. read more

Dr Razi did a procedure on me without sedation gave me laughing gas not enough to stop the pain he was causing. Then his rude office staff tried to charge me $35.00 for what they say was a missed appt. Called to cancel due to sickness. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Styrofoam cups for urine screening. Worst office staff ever! Had an appt that I had to cancel due to RSV that went around and hit my whole family at the same time. I called 4 times, including leaving 2 voicemails, and spoke with a lady on the phone who hung up on me while I was trying to reschedule. When I had a chance to call again to reschedule, that is when I found out I was flagged as a No Call No Show (post my actual appt date). I don't beg for appointments, as there are plenty of doctors out there, I was just unfortunately referred to Dr. Rasi by my PCP. They ask who did you speak with. How the hell would I know that if the people in the front office don't identify themselves when speaking with you?! When I attempted to explain all my attempts to reschedule my appt, they denied knowing of the voicemails (said they check daily) and asked me who I spoke with. I went ahead and paid the No Call No Show fee so I didn't end up in collections for this causing more problems. The lady who answered the phone didn't identify herself, just put me on hold, transferred me to someone else whom didn't identify herself, but just took my credit card information. Again, how the hell would I know who I am speaking with when they do not identify themselves?! Obviously, it is common practice for them to not identify themselves other than "Dr. Rasi's office". Once she got my payment information, she asked if I would like to reschedule. I said "no thank you, I already requested a new doctor", the lady just hung up. Don't even ask to speak or see Dr. Rasi outside of an appt. He is "too busy" for patients. Avoid this doctor's office at all costs. Once you get an appt, it is written in stone and you have to pay to get out of it. I have never been to a doctor's office that has a rude and unprofessional staff like they are. The arrogance, rudeness, and unprofessionalism of the ladies in this office is off the charts to an unbelievable level. Their incompetence and inability to actually document changes and communicate with one another is at the highest degree I have ever witnessed. I would give them negative stars if that were possible. The other reviews you see going back several years about Dr. Rasi's staff are still currently very accurate, sadly. You would think Dr. Rasi would actually read reviews and make an attempt to educate the staff or put them through a customer service course. Their behavior just reflects poorly on the doctor. My only recommendation, avoid this doctor and his incompetent staff. read more

The primary complaint I have is with Dr Razi's Receptionist. She is the rudest person that I've ever been exposed to in a medical environment. She is short, rude and claims to never make mistakes. Really? Why are you so defensive? I understand not everyone is customer oriented but she is hurting his practice. I wonder if Dr Razi has any idea how many patients he loses because of her. It's really unfortunate because he seems to be a good doctor. All the other employees that I've worked with over the past 3 years are polite, professional and helpful. read more

Please do not see this Dr. Took me weeks to get in. Then they did an ultrasound in the office which was completely unnecessary because I had just had a scan, they were just trying to get more money. Then today I went in for my FOLLOW UP from SURGERY appointment and they wouldn't see me because I couldn't pay my $480 bill that is less than 30 days old. The office staff even before this is incredibly rude and unaccomidating. Please do not go to this Dr. Too bad he has a lock on the Tracy because he should be out of business. Dr. Razi is a great doctor with a great bedside manner. I met Dr. Razi 3 years ago when I was admitted to the hospital with a very large kidney stone. He was called in, talked to me, and performed surgery the same day. I have since kept him as my urologist and he is the only doctor in 17 years that has taken the time and initiative to attempt to find out if there is a reason for my recurring stones. He is up to date on the latest technology too! I have witnessed how he treats other patients and he is very patient and respectful. He never makes anyone feel like they're stupid or wasting his time. His office staff doesn't seem to be on top of things all of the time, and has to be called to remind them to have things approved through the insurance company and such. read more

DR.Razi is a Good Dr, but SOME of the STAFF Office OMG ....Rude is a Short word for them, take a customer service course. I will make sure Dr.Razi knows about it or the office manager, you LADY, will hear me for sure AGAIN. Remember treat patients and family with respect and you will get the same in return. This guy is a hack. I had 3 appointments and waited an hour and a half past my appointment time on all 3 occasions. He recommended a cystoscopy (a camera inserted into your penis) when it turns out all I had was a kidney stone. An X-ray would have shown that. Be careful. read more

My first question to most reviewers here would be, which Dr. Razi are they really referring to here? Because, my experience with that office and the Dr almost cost me my life. Not even exaggerating here. I went in there on June 14th for a prostate exam, the cystoscopy camera he used injured my Urethra badly as i can see the bleeding scratched surface of my Urethra on the screen during the exam. After the exam, he advised me he was going to send a prescription to my pharmacy to help shrink the moderate enlargement that he has observed, scheduled me to be back in three months for a follow up, never once mentioning that he included antibiotics to the prescription as well that i should start taking that day for the next three days. Not sensing any urgency to start the "FLOMAX" prescription he had advised i take for 90 days, i proceeded home to do a little research about Prostate and other alternatives to treating it, maybe through life-style adjustment and or other means, before starting the medication he had prescribed. By the next day (Saturday), i had started feeling weak and feverish, running temperature and feeling joint pains. By Sunday, i started peeing blood and the pain i was experiencing from trying to pee was inexplicable. I couldn't reach the Dr. or his staff because it was a weekend and the office was closed. I called the office first thing Monday morning to advise them of my situation. They asked me if i took the antibiotics the Dr had prescribed and i let them know this was the first time anyone would tell me there was a prescription for antibiotics. They then instructed me to come to the office to provide a urine sample for a test since they suspect i have a UTI. I went there, provided the sample and they advised me the result would be out in three days. I was alarmed to hear this and i reminded them i was peeing blood and needed a much faster turn-around time for the test, but they advised me it was the earliest the result would be out and can't do much about that. In the meantime, they advised me to go straight to my pharmacy and pick the original prescription for antibiotics, but told me they doubt it would help since it was for prevention of UTI rather than to cure one. In all this, i asked to speak with Dr Razi, but i was told he was busy. i made several attempts after my initial request with no luck as my situation became progressively worse and left me confused and dumbfounded about how my health went from 90-0 in just 3 days since i visited his office. By next day, i had to fly with my kids to Canada on a previously planned trip for their summer vacation to drop them off with family and was scheduled to return same day. On my way back, my Urethra was permanently blocked and couldn't pass urine at all but felt like going every 2 minutes. On a two hour flight from Vancouver to San Jose, i was in and out of the restroom 21 times. All i got was a excruciating pain that was out of this world with just a drop of urine if I'm lucky. One of the air hostess haven noticed the agony i was going through, offered me an empty sit opposite the restroom for my convenience. At some point, i had a leakage and peed all over myself. I was overcome with a sense of shame and helplessness and thought for the first time in my life, if i had a gun with me, i would rather shoot myself in the head and end all the suffering and shame as one of the air hostess handed me a blanket to cover up. When i got back to California that night, i couldn't sleep a wink as the pain became unbearable and frequent runs to the restroom didn't help as i couldn't pee. First thing Thursday morning, i called Dr. Razi's office to narrate my experience the last 48hrs and again asked to speak with him. Again, i was told he was unavailable but had sent a prescription to my pharmacy for me to pick-up. I decide to go to the Emergency room instead, where i was quickly rushed in because of my condition and after an ultrasound scan, determined my bladder was full and my urethra was totally blocked. They quickly inserted a Folic-Catheter and advised me if i had waited a bit longer before i came in, i probably would have had a leaked bladder and maybe an infected kidney. They ran a Urine test that the result came out within an hour and advised me i had a confirmed UTI. I had the Catheter on for almost 3 weeks, limiting my mobility and ADL's for all that time. When i eventually went back to the office to complain about how my visit has left a bitter taste in my mouth by the way they have handled everything, the office staff was rude, inconsiderate and rather nonchalant about the whole thing, asking me to make an appointment to see Dr. Razi if i wish to talk to him about it. I lashed out and let her have a piece of me at this point, letting her know she was just as rude as Dr. Razi himself who in presence of my wife had told me i sounded like a smart guy on my first visit to his office, with this aura of superiority that i find offensive. read more

Dr Razi has a great reputation because of his work with radio active pellets to destroy prostate cancer. Which at the time he started his practice at short was cutting edge technology. That was around 10-15 years ago. He new many other modern techniques. One that he used on me was T.U.N.A (Transurethral needle ablation (TUNA) of the prostate). They burn away some of the tissue that blocks the urethra to make it easier to that urinate. About two years after the procedurehaving problems with being able to urinate. When I returned and informed him of the situation. He scoped me and stated that there was a rise in tissue. Then argued that it here was now way that it could be the cause of my issues. I poin out that he even stated there was extra tissue raised in the canal. It was as though he was denying that his procedure could have failed in the short amount not of time. I had to go to another urologist to get treatment. Which resulted in another clearing of tissue before i could urinate again. It is frustrating to me when Doctor do not listen to the patient. Which he clearly did not want to do. Because he does have a good way to treat prostate cancer I did give him two stars instead of one. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Razi off and on for some time now. Each time I go in, his staff is always very warming and welcoming which is a big deal for me. It is nice to know that they seem to care. They are very friendly on the phone as well. As far as Dr. Razi goes, he is always very nice and personable. He takes the time to explain everything to me even though he has a house!! I never feel rushed with him and he has even operated on other family members with excellent results. No questions I would recommend him to others.. read more
