I bumped into him outside of his office at the hospital and he actually stopped to say hello! NO doctor does that! But he did! He says "J. D.! Is that you? I still can't believe I went from not being able to walk or straighten out my left knee to being back to walking and running at Uni. The staff care has been most amazing. The space is clean, great music is being played during sessions, expert knowledge on physical therapy and great support system. I really enjoyed working with them and highly recommend for future patients that need physical therapy in the area. Thanks to them I was able to make to an important event in college out of state that I couldn't afford to miss even if I had an injury. During my visit, I was informed by the office staff that my insurance would provide very limited coverage for those procedures, and I felt encouraged to make a decision during that visit. Because of the cost and the permanent nature of removing two healthy teeth, I decided to get a second opinion before moving forward. The second dentist thoroughly evaluated my situation and advised that extracting the teeth was not necessary. Instead, I was offered alternative treatment options that would allow me to keep my teeth. Afterward, I contacted my insurance company directly regarding the same procedures that had originally been recommended to me. I learned that those procedures actually had much better insurance coverage than I had been told at the dental office. While I would still have been responsible for certain costs, the coverage was significantly greater than what had been represented to me. The combination of being advised to remove two teeth, being presented with a very expensive treatment plan, and later learning that both the treatment recommendation and the insurance information differed significantly from what I was told caused me to lose confidence in the care I received. I ultimately decided not to proceed with the treatment plan proposed at Tracy Smile Dentistry. This review reflects my personal experience.
