What can I say, she is a awesome Dr. It all started 7 years ago, we had just moved to Manteca from the bay and my son in kindergarten fell and needed to be seen by a doctor. Called a few friends and they all suggested Dr Kailey. Her manner with the children and interaction with them is the best. She gives them little nicknames and you can truly tell she loves her job. She listens and discusses your concerns and answers any questions. The office has followed up with us days later when the boys have been real sick to see if we need to be seen again. As we have added more children to our family there has never been a doubt as to who their Dr will be. The office staff is always great and helpful, wait time is generally 5-10 minutes. Waiting area is always clean and smells clean. They have been real good about getting in on same day appts when needed. The only issue I have and this is just my own preference, is that I wish they had a separate area for sick children and non sick. Nothing worse than bringing you well child in for a well check and being around sick kids or vice verses. read more

We went to Dr. Kailey for years with both of my sons. I'm talking 17 years. She was an exceptional Dr. Never once did she rush or make us feel we were unnecessarily there. Dr. Kailey is a class act. She is big on not overprescribing antibiotics but will do so when necessary. She always remembered my sons names and details about them. She also called me at home a couple times when concerned for them. Who does that anymore? The office staff was GREAT. They were always willing to answer "mom questions" and never seemed annoyed. They also found a way to fit us in ALWAYS. My youngest is 12 now and unfortunately we have Kaiser due to a job change. :( We miss Dr. Kailey. read more

She is so passionate about her work. Never rushes and never judges. Even her office staff is good. My first born been going to her about two years and now our newborn has started care with kailey. Wouldn't recommend this office to anyone, I have had numerous of bad experiences.. Lets see where do I begin, the staff is rude & unprofessional & Dr. Kailey makes you feel like your exaggerating when it come to your kids health. Every time she has told me there is nothing wrong with my child, he has end up being hospitalized for things like pneumonia, RSVP etc. things she never bothered to test for because again it was easier for her to think I was exaggerating & send me on my way. The lack of compassion an over all concern for your childs health is disappointing, Can't speak for everyone else, I am only going off my own experiences but by far the worst Dr I have come across. read more

Be careful what you say to them they will charge you for something you never said . The doc brought up that my son had a bump on his head and I told her he fell. So now I get charged on a we'll check . This is dumb they should tell you. You go anywhere else and they don't charge you read more

Seriously one of the best, if not the best, pediatrician in our area. She has been my son's doctor since he was a baby. Every well-baby visit is always reassuring. She goes over any questions or concerns with you, if you are really concerned about something, she will order lab work or whatever is needed for the situation. Her office staff is great, the same medical assistants since we started going here, very familiar with my son. I also like that they have a nurse on hand that you can talk to over the phone to see if you need to bring your child in. Had a friend take her son for a rash. Multiple people recommended this doctor to her so I thought I'd give it a try and try to get my son in. When I called I asked if they were accepting new patients, the receptionist said yes. Perfect. And I asked you take Medi cal right, plan of San Joaquin. She told me no they don't. And that would be an okay answer except my friend's son has Medi cal plan of San Joaquin. So long story short, someone is a liar. Stinks too because my son really could use a second opinion after have 5 ear infections. read more

About 7 years ago, my wife and I were referred to Dr. Kailey by a trusted family friend. Given that our son had experience numerous ailments prior to seeing Dr. Kailey, we weren't willing to settle for just any doctor out of convenience. It was apparent during our first appointment with Dr. Kailey that she was exactly what we needed for our son. Dr. Kailey has the ability to remove the scariness of 'unknown' kid illnesses - whether picked up from the classroom or the normal seasonal crud. Given this is our first child, it's been wonderful to have Dr. Kailey break away using the typical doctor jargon and explain things in a way that my wife and I are able to understand. But it's one thing for me to understand my child's health; Once he became old enough, Dr. Kailey took the time to speak to our son in a way that he understands what's happening to his body and how he can personally work towards staying healthy. We've always appreciated the medical thoroughness, patience in regards to our numerous questions (trust me, we've had lots of them!), astounding communication, and kindness that comes from both Dr. Kailey and her staff. If it's not yet apparent, I'd recommend Dr. Kailey to anyone in a heartbeat. And just as my family has, I know that you'll come to love her as more than just your child's doctor, but for the genuinely wonderful person that she is. read more

Dr Kailey is a mediocre Doctor. My feeling is that since her business has grown, her knowledge, work ethics & values have gone out the window. Whenever my son sees her, it's like pulling teeth trying to get her to prescribe anything that would help make him better. I don't like her plain and uncaring attitude! Trying to get referred to any specialists takes SO LONG you have to keep calling their office so someone there can do something! It's ridiculous! Their whole staff needs a refresher course on Customer Service and patient ethics & support. read more

I adore Dr. Kailey! She cares deeply about her patients and goes above and beyond to help in any way. She has taken her time to speak to me on the phone, in the middle of her work day, when I was a new and concerned mom. She has even told me "for peice of mind, come on down now and I will look at your baby and we can talk". These are things doctors don't normally do, especially when they should be on their lunch break or even going home for the night. Dr. Kailey is the best! The best Pediatrician I've been to! And that goes for me personally as well as my daughter. Dr Kailey was my doctor when I was a baby up until I was 17, and I now take my daughter there. She is the best. Very thorough, she wants to get down to the problem. She takes her time with her patients and is never in a rush. She listens to you and whatever the outcome is of the visit, she makes you feel confident that everything will be okay. She has these puzzles in the patients rooms and she interacts with my daughter and every once in a while she'll even help my daughter with her puzzle. Her staff is very friendly, and they make it easy to get in quickly and efficient! The nurses do a great job when giving the vaccinations and making sure my daughter is comfortable! Dr. Kailey is amazing!!!! first off let me start by saying she puts so much love and passion into her work I've been taking my son here since he was born he is now 11. I also have a daughter that is 7 now. Both my children love Dr Kailey she is honest, sweet, and extremely knowledgeable. Lets just say you're in very competent hands. She been has practicing for some time now and is priceless when in comes to my kids. I would not take them anywhere else. For a little over a year me and my wife had to move to Modesto (work related), went to Valley Oak Pediatric big mistake (1 star). So then i realized just how great Dr Kailey is, i then would commute back and forth from Modesto to manteca just to make sure my children were in her safe hands. Thank god we were able to move back to manteca. Me and my children are now back in competent hands and visit Dr. Kailey religiously. Dr. Kailey is such an amazing dr i can't say this enough she really cares about children! She is extremely knowledgeable and has an impeccable work ethic. Her staff is friendly and her office is very clean. Me and my children feel extremely comfortable and safe there! If you're like me and have trust issues and problems with leaving your children anywhere. Let me assure this woman is amazing! I can go on and on about her. I'm very suspicious about the negative reviews on here and just don't see how its possible, considering that word of mouth is much more valid and I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about this Dr. I feel that people are just having insurance issues and that can happen anywhere. Not here to Judge, just give the facts so you can make your own decision to put your child's care in the hands of...Our child was pretty sick, we suspected maybe Strep throat. Made the appointment, went in doc said nothing was wrong and sent us home, next day or two our child was worse so we took her back and demanded a strep test. the next day the kid was worse again so we called and asked for the results of the strep test doctor said the test came back (Negative) ! a day or two went by even worse as the days went on, called to make another appointment, and magically the strep test was now (positive). hmm, how does that happen, the only thing I can come up with is the doctor gave us her opinion or guessed on what the result was in her mind. Really lied to us and gave us the test result that she didn't even. Even gets better...the poor kid was even getting worse from there, so we called again and had to ask the doctor to please give a mono test, she did and that and also came back positive. you can image how bad this poor kid is feeling, we are into this now 5 days with hardly any treatment. so we finally get some antibiotics on board to try and get this under control, after a couple days still not getting better actually still getting worse. Back we go to the doctor, DOCTOR says, we can give her a steroid shot because her throat is so swollen, but only if she has trouble BREATHING etc... bring her back and we will do a shot, really holy cow ! lets let the kid get in trouble before we give a shot, doesn't make sense to me. So with that we leave, and Yep ! the kid gets worse, so I call to bring her back for the shot the next day and the doc is already gone and its 3pm or so in the afternoon, then the staff puts me on hold for 4-5 minutes, so I hang up and call back and back on hold I go with no explanation. So with that I've had it, called another doctor took the poor kid over there and got the right treatment and algorithm going, AND the new doctor said the right med's were prescribed just the wrong dosage amount was given for our child. I hope that give some perspective on my encounter with this office, now you can make up your mind in where you take your child. I have learned that Sometimes conservative medicine isn't the best protocol, and the newer docs have better training these days. read more
