They honored my privacy requests and obtaining an itemized bill and medical record was very easy. Good luck making an appointment.. I am writing to express my frustration with the customer service I have experienced over the past few days while trying to schedule an appointment. For several days now, I have been calling and repeatedly staying on hold for long periods of time without getting proper assistance. My most recent attempt was today. I called at approximately 4:30 p.m. After waiting on hold for about 15 minutes, someone finally answered, only to tell me to continue holding. I was then placed back on hold for another 10 minutes or so. Eventually, the same representative (I believe her name was Rosa) picked up again. She asked a few questions and then once again placed me on hold. Unfortunately, I was left on hold without any follow-up. When 5:00 p.m. passed, the line changed to a free signal, but no one returned to the call. I waited a few more minutes before finally hanging up. read more

I just tried to make an appointment to get a CT scan. The receptionst was the rudest person I've ever had to deal wtih. You could hear the disdain her voice when I couldnt find the answers she wanted quickly enough. In fact, she clearly said "oh my god" in frustration. Would never go here. read more

I needed a chest XRay and checked out their website and hours of operation (open until 9:30pm) and checked to see if they needed an appointment (which they didn't). I stopped by twice only to learn that the technician had gone home. Both times. I even called to make sure the technician was going to be on duty before I made my second visit. If they did, they'd tell me why my kidney ultrasound was 40 minutes late -- while I waited with a full bladder. Maybe they'd tell me why the person who scheduled the appointment (on 7-14 for 7-15) told me to drink a quart of water an hour before the appointment, which the tech (who was fine) then told me was unnecessary for a kidney ultra. Rayus Radiology; Gateway Blvd. Boynton Beach; Horrible patient service. HORRIBLE. I took the time off from my job, arrived early for the appointment as requested. Upon my arrival I checked in and was told my appointment was cancelled due to no tech available. I had confirmed the appointment via text, and also had received another text on the way to Rayus, about scheduling an additional test my doctor ordered yesterday. I had confirmed that text as well. I asked about the rescheduling of my first appointment, however I was told they could not reschedule me due to the fact there was no one there to do the rescheduling. ( This was all done in the afternoon; a weekday, not a weekend, not at closing time..) The receptionist could not answer my question when I asked what do at this point, other than toss a card to me with the phone number on it. A bit rude would be an understatement here. I have already contacted my doctor to schedule me with another imaging firm, ANYONE OTHER THAN RAYUS RADIOLOGY. My question is this; Who can I send a bill to for my time that was wasted? I work for a water utility, and my time is very valuable. Today has cost me money, and several important tasks I had to drop in order to make my appointment on time. I have never encountered such poor service as I did today and will not hesitate to inform everyone I know about avoiding this company in the future. I went in for an MRI this morning. The care I received from the staff was wonderful. They knew my back was in so much pain and they were extremely patient. From the time I was in the machine to checking out was very organized. The building is a little wonky getting to so allot yourself like an extra 5-10 minutes to locate the establishment. THE WORST~! My Aptmt was first scheduled @ 6 am - then changed to 7 am. DOOR LOCKED - NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP! There I was on Crutches - waiting & waiting & waiting. I use Rayus most of the time for my imaging requirements. However, I find them VERY difficult to get on the phone to set those appointments. Just today, listening to the excuse about a "new system". This "new system" that seems to do nothing but make you wait ungodly amounts of time (20 -40 minutes) has been the recording for ages. Either fix it or hire more people. I arrived for my appointment 5 min late but called in advance to try to talk to someone and explain that I would be late and see if I needed to make a new appointment. (I was unsuccessful at getting through to an actual person on the phone.) Once arriving, I sat waiting to be checked in for an additional 10 minutes only to be told that I had to reschedule because I was 15 min late. (Note- I wasn't.. I was waiting on THEM to check me in for 2/3 of this 15 min but fully acknowledge that I was late.) This was also after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment, taking off of work, and driving 45 min each way. The front desk staff was very rude, condescending, and when I told them that I was flexible in my schedule for the rest of the day- they told me that I can call and reschedule. (How can I reschedule if I can't talk to someone when I try to call?!!) I told them that I would not be rescheduling with them and their response was literally "ok bye" and then walked away. WTF?! The way that they treated me makes me not trust them with my care. I will be going elsewhere. I was sent to this facility by my workers comp claim. The front desk staff are rude and you are bothering them by being there. The waiting room is dirty. I was called back to the dressing room and no one verified my name. I got into the room to change and the ceiling was gone and there was a leak in near where my locker would be. It was filthy. I changed and went to the MRI room, once again, no one verified my DOB or any other verifiers. The room was dated and cold. The MRI images are not good so I need to have another MRI. Sheila at the front desk helped me find the office location within the building. She was friendly and helpful. She made check in a breeze. Was under construction so was a little confusing but she made it easy. Arrived at 8:25 slightly before their requested time of 8:30 for an 8:45 appointment. Filled out paperwork till 8:34 and then waited until 8:50. Lasted till 9:13. My technician male was a bit confusing as far as his directions and had poor bedside manner. read more

The Technician who took my X-rays was pleasant, friendly, and professional. She joked with me during the process and was gentle as she moved me into various positions for the scans. She was also kind enough to provide me with a CD copy for my records. I was pleased with my experience with this particular Technician; however, the same could not be said for my check-in process. I arrived at the front desk immediately after another patient had just completed their check-in. The husky Hispanic Woman who wore a Nirvana t-shirt behind the front desk who was on the phone at the time, saw me enter and standing in front of the counter. Instead of saying, "Someone will be with you shortly," she ignored me and continued her call. There were periods of silence where she could have acknowledged me, but I stood there and waited patiently. I was later acknowledged by another staff member who saw me standing there at the counter waiting patiently as she then greeted me. I presented her with my paperwork, which showed that I was there for a Veterans Evaluation on a non-appointment/Walk-in basis. She attempted to ask the woman on the phone, but she even ignored her. So the kind lady told me to continue to wait for her. Another Hispanic woman approached the front desk as the lobby became overwhelmed with other patients waiting to check in. I presented my Veterans Evaluation paperwork again, and this time, it was handed to the other woman who had finally ended her phone call with a patient. The lady then asked, "Do you have an appointment?!" I responded that I was advised to walk in (as the paperwork stated), and she shook her head in disbelief and dismissively handed the paperwork back to the young lady and said, "You got that?" as if I was some significant inconvenience to her! It became more apparent that they were overbooking patients because I overheard her telling an individual she called that she likes to call patients on the day of their appointment to see if they want to cancel or reschedule. As an individual checking into any professional establishment, it's expected that the staff be polite, dress appropriately, and act professionally! Not be wearing a wrinkled rock-band t-shirt rude and dismissive, which is subpar customer service in most of our opinions. As a Veteran, I'm generally, if not always, treated with gratitude for my service, but not in this instance. Unfortunately, some don't know how to provide the best customer service experiences. read more

They suck and they know it. My 12 year old needed an MRI and they told me they accept her insurance and the day before, after waiting a week, told us that they don't. Now I have to try and make another appointment somewhere else while she is in pain over her ankle. I would give them a Zero if I could. We will not be going back there ever again. THEY SUCK! I have never left a negative review but this place is the worst! Went in for an ultrasound and waited for the report! Never arrived. After a few days my doctors called twice to get it, and I called twice. Was told one of their managers would look in to it. Waited a week. No one called me back. Called again and talked to Summer their manger, telling me that they don't have it!!! I asked for a refund. She agreed to do it but guess what??? All of a sudden they found my ultrasound and sent me the report!!! Never even bothered calling me to apologize for the headache I went through. read more

They lied. After waiting 40-ish minutes, I was finally brought back for the two tests that were ordered. I was told that I didn't need the second test. When my results came in, they noted that I refused the 2nd test! Which I didn't. My provider stated she wished they had done both. They lied to me about not needing the test, then LIED on my results saying I refused the test. I've never written a yelp review before... but that was very shady and extremely upsetting. I called in on 9/12 to schedule a lower back MRI w/ Contrast and w/o contract, per my Dr's order. I was given the 345pm apt on 9/19. I called my Dr to confirm both w/ and w/o contrast order and then confirmed w/ Rayus that the apt was for both w/ and w/o contrast. I then scheduled spine Dr follow-ups and surgeon consults based upon the scheduled date. Today, 9/19, at 236p, one hour before I was to arrive, Rayus notified me that they could not do w/ contrast MRI after 4p???? I needed to reschedule which causes a ripple effect on everything I scheduled last week, delaying any diagnosis, treatment, and eventual recovery. I have had back pain since June and this is totally unacceptable. Dealing with Rayus is a literal pain in my back (side). I would not recommend to anyone. read more

I believe in recognizing good customer service and that is exactly what I got at Rayus. That is why I asked for all of the staff names of those I had worked with so I could recognize them appropriately. I had a very good experience with Rayus Radiology. I called right after my doc appt and Jalen, the scheduler, was very accommodating, helping to get me an appointment that same day which saved me from having to drive to the same area twice. My experience with the front desk was also excellent. They were very polite and professional and made filling out all of the medical forms go smoothly. My experience with Debbie, their CT technologist, was equally favorable. I was taken back for my test on time. Debbie was very friendly, answered all of my questions and explained what was going to happen during the test. Everything went off without a hitch. Going through tests is never "fun" but the staff at Rayus have a "customer first" attitude which is very much appreciated! read more

Don't use this company! The technicians are fine. However we never got a bill even though they sent us 4 emails saying that they were going to send us a bill. We called them and never got past the computer. Our bill was sent to collections where it impacts our credit rating. This is ridiculous. We won't use them again. You've been warned. read more

Not pleased with this place. First time I called for an appointment, I was on hold a good 10-15 minutes. When I finally got to talk to someone, the connection kept fading in and out for the 10 minutes or so that we were talking as she asked for background information. The appointment person finally said she had to get a new headset or something like that. I'm on hold another 15 minutes or so and just hung up. Two days later, they called and we set up an afternoon appointment. They offered times from 3:30 to 5:30. I ended up taking a 4:30 appointment because I wasn't sure I could get out of work to make it at 3:30. I was able to get out of work, I called to see if I could come earlier (this was less than 2 hours after the appointment was made) and was told nothing was available. Obviously, things were hectic that afternoon and I arrived at their office at 4:00 realizing I left the doctor's order at home (NOT their fault). So I go in asking if I could move the appointment back to 5 PM. The response was I was their last appointment of the day and there was no willingness to move the appointment back. Honestly, I could have likely made it back to their office by 4:45. I could have just not gone into the office and shown up late and had the procedure. Overall, it was a huge waste of time in setting up the appointment (40-45 minutes) and there was a real lack of customer service when I asked to move the appointment back a half-hour (to a time they initially offered when they called me two days later to set up the appointment). Obviously, I have no interest in returning even though their cost is approximately $100 less than the office I will be going to. My guess is that if I had actually had the screening I was going there for, it would have been fine so I have no comment on that. read more

Insight Imaging was a great place to get my first MRI. The receptionist called earlier in the day and asked if we could come earlier and I said I couldn't, and she wasn't mad and said that she was just offering that we could come earlier. We came about 15 minutes before our appointment and were welcomed early. The technician was already ready for the scan while I checked in. I did a lot of research before I went to get an MRI, like what the sounds are like, what to wear, etc., but after I got there, I felt a sense of ease. The staff is very calm and caring and told me to take my time getting ready. The waiting room is spacious, clean, and has a TV that you can watch. The paperwork was extensive but in a good way - they make sure you are able to get an MRI. Yes, you have to take off your clothes to put a gown on, but they're sterilized and you get a locker to put your items in. Unfortunately, my husband wasn't able to come back with me since he had too much metal in his body, but he was left in the pleasant waiting room that they had with the receptionist that was cheery. I was whisked away to change into my gown by Mitra, a kind lady that understood my apprehension. After I was changed, she explained the process and told me what the sounds would be like. She also made sure I was comfortable while I had an awkward position of my foot (not due to them, just where it was injured required me to lay it in a weird way). She offered headphones where it would play from their satellite radio and let me pick the channel to listen to. The music was at a decent volume until the test started, then it was a quiet whisper, but that wasn't my technician's fault at all. The machine was loud, as many people know. She kept checking in on me every once in a while and told me how much time I had left. The procedure was only supposed to take 20 minutes, but my husband said I was in there for about 45 minutes. I guess I must have messed it up since it took that long, but it didn't feel like it was that long, which is a good thing! If I have to get an MRI again, I would definitely come back here. I was under worker's comp, so I was told to go here, but I would return. We got the CD of the images immediately after I was in the waiting room, which is great! Another copy was sent to my doctor. I went to this location, based on the recommendation of my doctor. I usually use Fairfax Radiology. I should have stuck with them. The appointment was on time and the technician was great. That's about it. I sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes waiting for my CD, not really knowing how long it should take. I finally went up to the desk and asked about it. It was ready but no one got it and gave it to me, they were busy socializing. And now, 6 days after my MRI, I still don't have the radiologist's report. I was told 2 days. When I called, they said it was pending transcription. That was 2 days ago, still nothing. I will not use this facility again. read more

Steer clear of this place! This use to be quick and stress free location to get images, but my recent experience does not warrant a return visit. The front desk and x-ray technician was wonderful. However, the MRI technician shoves you in the MRI and doesn't speak to you until they are ready to remove you from it. They put some very sticky tag on me that did nothing but remove my skin from a very inflamed hand and get in the way of the MRI. While I was crying from the burning in the dressing room the MRI technician was actually sitting building up her anger so that I could go to another personnel to see what they did to me while she stood there and overlooked everything. Let's mark this as a failure and move forward, so I go to the front desk on my way out to check if they needed anything and to express my discontent only to be followed by the MRI technician who tells me I've been rude to everyone that I've encountered (calling each of them out) and even to the cleaning person who I didn't speak to and is yelling at me. The MRI technician is screaming at me behind the person that I'm trying to talk to telling me to get out of the facility now (now who's making scene and making the other employees feel bad). Needless to say, this is the most unprofessional treatment that I have ever received in the medical industry. If this individual needs an ego and can't leave their anger at home, then perhaps they should find another profession. Obviously, I left lots of detail out of this review and have reported the incident to the corporate office. read more

I am glad I found Insight Imaging online, they were able to schedule me in for a CT during the COVID-19 pandemic. Angie at the front desk was very helpful and patient even though I forgot my Doctor's referral order at home, she worked with me to have it emailed to her and process my paperwork for my visit. I don't remember the radiologist technician's name but, she was was a really nice person to deal with, she took the time to make sure I was confortable and the images come out perfect. I hope that when the bill comes out, everything is straight and fair as I was estimated. So far it has been a great experience at Insight Imaging. read more

I paid off my bill after testing completed. 3 years later, they sent me $815 bill through collection. I never received a bill in my address. When I spoke to their bill department, The receptionist said that the charge was for the extra testing which they did, and her manager even didn't welling to speak about it. I had to have a CT scan. I'm always nervous when I have to get into these machines. I suffer from anxiety and tight spaces tend to really make me panic even when I take medication beforehand, however my CT Tech DEBBIE was great , patient and talkative. Ended up waiting 60min PAST appointment time, when finally called up, was brought in and brought back out and told to wait even longer without explanation. How did this happen? They accepted an appointment in front of us that was extremely LATE. If we didn't have to fast for this procedure, I think we wouldn't have been as frustrated. We plan to do our best to show courtesy by arrive on time, but they did not show us courtesy back by taking in someone else that was very late for their appointment. First and last time. read more
