Once inside you are greeted very quickly and if you have pre-filled out your information then all the front office needs are your ID, Doctor's Order and insurance. The waiting area is comfortable and once your docs are returned you wait for your appointment. I was called up on time, there is a changing room and bathroom and the technician with have you identify yourself (Hian sp) and then the test is done very quickly and efficiently. I had my written results by the afternoon and my PCP's comments the next day (weird that patients get the results before the doctor butt it's the law). A very satisfactory visit. I will return Tuesday to have my disk of results.

After waiting and hearing nothing, I finally called myself and learned the results had apparently never been sent to my doctor. Patients should not have to chase down imaging results and wonder whether their results were reviewed or communicated. This isn't just an inconvenience, it's a patient care issue. People get imagining done because they are trying to rule out or evaluate potentially serious conditions. If someone simply assumed their doctor had received the report and didn't follow up, important findings could be delayed. Definitely find another center if you care about your health.

Every day I call again and wait on hold for 30 to 40 minutes and when I speak with someone they say it has not been read but it is STAT and should be read in the next 4 hours. Every call has a survey for their service but they only ask if the person I spoke with was friendly and caring. They never ask about the wait, the response, or the delay. If you want a timely report on your health then stay away -- stay far away!

I was looking for something close by to where I live - but the OrthoVirginia locations closest to me - did not have any appointment availability that week - so off to Ashburn, VA I went to visit the OrthoVirginia office in Ashburn. It's a pretty big office. The office is located in a commercial/retail complex that looks relatively new. I entered and check in. The waiting area is pretty darn big with a ton of seating and a coffee station and restrooms. I paid my Co-pay at check in. They do not currently offer any digital payment options such as Apple Pay. I politely asked if I could provide a suggestion - the lady at the counter said sure - I requested that they provide my feedback to the powers that be to offer a digital payment option. I visited with Dr. Lorenzetti. He's a nice, very energetic, enthusiastic Doctor.
