Buffalo Chicken salad was awesome. White slice was nothing special - I don't think I'll get that again. I've ordered delivery a couple times from here and they're always under the quoted time. There seems to be a lack of communication between those who answer the phones and those who deliver. I ordered online, and Chrome Autofill added in my home apartment number into the address box - which would make it confusing once the delivery shows up to work looking for an apartment at a commercial building. My bad for not catching this before hitting submit. However, less than 30 seconds later I called them to correct this, telling them to ignore the Apartment and deliver it to (business name where I work)...and that the address was overall correct except for that erroneous apartment number insertion. Delivery kid gets here and is confused because they didn't fix the info as requested. Nothing that wasn't solved by me going outside and meeting him, but it's just irritating on principle since I called to correct this specifically because I knew that would happen. read more

Not sure why so many negative reviews. Great, flavorful thin crust pizza! Everyone always raves when they come over and have this pizza. We've gotten plain, salad pizza, chicken bacon ranch..calzones...chicken/eggplant/meatball parm on garlic bread. Always great. Quick delivery. read more

Ray's used to be the spot. They changed owners and the new ones have no idea what customer satisfaction is. I've had issues with their deliveries, went to the store to correct it and they were rude and dismissive. read more

I ordered a large order for my coworkers and I. When I had finished my side salad, i was disgusted to look down and see a DEAD COCKROACH in my salad. I was horrified and dry heaving. I called the restaurant. I was asked (in a very apathetic tone) "well what do you want me to do about it?" They absolutely did not care. DO NOT EAT HERE! read more

Been coming for many years, but this time was very disappointing. Ordered chicken parm hero. "Where's the chicken", it had very thin slices of chicken and leathery. Seriously, it was mostly bread and the thin chicken filets wouldn't tear easily when I tried to take a bite and was hard and chewy. In comparison, last week I went to the Italian deli down the road next to Carvel. Their chicken parm hero was almost 2x bigger with thick and generous cutlets; and price was comparable. Unfortunately, I've seen this played out before and unless Ray's get their act together they will be NFL (Not For Long). read more

I came midday so it was quiet and the service was fast. Nice adult portion sized slices unlike what you'd expect from the Domino's located right across the street. Pizza has a good quality crust and a quality layer of cheese. I ordered a chicken ranch slice and they weren't cheap with the meats! They have drinks and a large variety of options for you to eat. 2 thumbs up! read more

I had to delete my previous review and have to say I'm not coming back. first time the food looked wonderful and tasted bad. I left it to chance to try this spot again because people make errors. this second time was all wrong. strange tastes, dried out pasta and burned food.. that's just intentional on their end and a mistake on mine to give them the benefit of the doubt. read more

I am blunt and do NOT BS, with zero agendas. Have been here MANY times. This place is AWESOME. One of my favorites, anywhere Why??? - The Owner, Eric, is great and friendly. - They will prepare your food ANYWAY you want it! - The food is EXCELLENT quality. Pizza and pasta. - I feel COMFORTABLE there, like being at HOME. -The service is EXCELLENT, especially with the owner there. - You know they can be trusted with food quality and cleanliness. I am OCD with cleanliness and quality, and this place is TOPS for me in the ENTIRE TOWN!!! read more

I know they're probably busy right now but they literally fried up a batch of zeppoli and pitched them in a paper bag without a container. We're in the middle of a pandemic and they're delivering greasy food, dripping through paper bags without boxes. I put in a complaint with Grubhub since that is who processed the order and they said the restaurant claimed they could neither resend nor refund the order. Come on guys, exercise good hygiene, don't be nasty. It is important on the best of days, it's certainly even more important now. read more

There's something about the dough!!! I love the pizza here. i like their buy 1 get one for 4 dollars. It doesnt really help my health/fitness goals but it sure down satisfy my hunger pangs. Its right across from dominos pizza, so you have your choices and there is another like 8 pizza shops down main street, but i still end up coming to this one. They are always nice to me when i go there so i dont understand the negative reviews. Def come by this place. They have a solid sitting area, bathrooms and tv's. Its not the nices place but it sure does work. read more

I'm a regular customer here. I really enjoy the food. They make a really good Pizza for the price you are paying. The hero's are okay and sometimes they forget the special requests but that's okay because accidents happen. They make THE BEST rolls especially the Pepperoni Rolls and Chicken Marsala. Everything is always fresh and made to order and delivery is always on time or early. I will continue ordering from here because the service in my opinion is great. I just wish they would remember to toast the hero bread and add my extra onions. LOL! Thank you for giving great prices for good food. Hard to find a place that still lives by that code. read more

This was so bad. Mozzarella sticks were seriously barely-cooked string cheese (we could pull it apart!) fried in some thick cakey batter. Salad tomatoes had the consistency that only happens when they are frozen and then thawed. Somehow they were able to make eggplant dry even though it was sitting in sauce. Spaghetti was mysteriously cut into inch-long kid-sized bites. All hot foods came cold, except the bread which remained uncooked in the center. And delivery was over an hour, forgivable only when food is edible. The bottled soda rocked. So there's that. read more

The food was oily and sadly not good. The fries were all stock together and chewy, they were disappointing. The garlic bread was just bred with garlic spread on top; was really bad. The only thing I enjoyed in the order was my Pepsi. read more

Ray's Pizza & Restaurant - Love their Grandma Pie! - Italian Near Me - New City, New York

I've been coming to Ray's since 1999 and always loved their pizza. However I ordered their pizza on slice two days in a row and today it took over 30 minutes to get a slice of cheese pizza from the time I ordered. Really sad since they had my order in hand and the place was empty when I walked in but it took another 15 minutes to actually get my daughter her one slice. Hope they catch catch up to the times otherwise I'm afraid they won't be around in 2020. read more

I've ordered from this place multiple times and the last few deliveries have made me question if I should continue. Tonights order was it for me! We waited over 2 1/2 hours for a pizza that was supposed to be delivered in 45minutes. We called multiple times and instead of giving us the order for free, they just kept saying it's on it's way. When the pizza finally arrived it was the wrong order and the delivery guy was trying to charge us, even though we paid with a card over the phone. The delivery guy was also demanding a tip, when we refused because of how long they took he put his foot on our door blocking us from closing it. My husband had to threaten to call the police on him for him to get off our property. We will NEVER order from this place again. read more

Horrible just horrible I will never ever order from this place ever again!! Pizza was hard and dried out and arrived kinda cold Ordered through grubhub and The service was terrible the delivery guy approached me in a hostile manner demanding that I give a tip, he then stated "next time you should go get the pizza yourself" and before he left he said "enjoy that pizza" in a questionable manner.. I went ahead and contacted the store and the person on the phone was just as rude he said I'm busy and hung up the phone and when I called back I requested the manager he answered aggressively and said yo bro I am the manager and I'm busy you'll have to call back! Ok food and terrible, terrible service. After calling in our order we were informed that it would be a half hour....half hour came and went.
