But, looking for a specific product can be daunting so I approached a group of 3 blue shirts casually standing around and chatting. I asked where a certain thing was and all three lifted their arms to point, very confusing. Only one associate said he would take me over there but instead of staying with me and insuring I knew I had the right thing, he just walked away. This is the reason why people order from Amazon and eBay and while this is a well stocked store, it is not customer centric, at least not for me.

First there were concerns about the serial number, then other issues were raised, and when those didn't seem to prevent the return, she claimed there were cockroaches in the TV box. At that point, it honestly felt like every possible excuse was being used to avoid accepting a legitimate return. Whether or not there was a concern with the condition of the packaging, the situation could have been handled professionally and respectfully. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and as though I was being treated unfairly rather than as a valued customer. I've shopped at Best Buy for years and have generally had positive experiences, which made this interaction especially disappointing. Customer service should be focused on finding solutions, not creating obstacles. I hope Best Buy reviews how situations like this are handled so that other customers don't have a similar experience.
