Upon calling I was quickly dispatched a mechanic to my location, as I was broken down in a retail location with a dead battery. Mechanic Zach Cardisco was fast, thoroughly explained everything that was going on, was detailed oriented and did good work. He also hand threaded my lug nuts back on to my studs unlike many places nowadays that just throw them into the socket and then tighten them down with the impact wrench which often cross threads them or breaks the studs. He had a very friendly demeanor, kind use of his tools and equipment was careful not to scratch paint or do any damage, etc. He took a lot of pride in his work and it showed. Ask for him by name. Cons: Realize its a $120 service call before anyone does any work. Not really shown will on their website. (Website also has a few spelling and grammar errors / should be open 24/7 they have it backwards) No mobile payment options whatsoever. Luckily my bank was down the street, but be prepared to have cash ready for the call.

Unfortunately, during the service, the windshield was further damaged and ended up with a crack instead. Was notified of the damage by owners and offered to replace windshield at half cost. After discussion, it was agreed upon that the windshield would be replaced for free. They were able to get this accomplished fairly quickly within a week or so. I always try to give the little, local guy my business and Mama's was just the place since he threw in some extra fun. I pulled up to the metal building and Jimmy greets me with a friendly hello and cigarette hanging out of his mouth that has about 12 teeth in it. Before we can talk business he yells at the local druggy/drunky to get out of his bathroom and boy oh boy, the guy came out of the john, pants at his ankles with a wad of TP in his hand. Jimmy yells at him again to leave and not come back and the guy mouths off with words I couldn't hear as he staggered away. $20 Jimmy says after I walk him around the car. Deal. We shake and I go into the shop, sit and listen to some great soul music. Don't expect clean fancy waiting room, nope, Mama's is an authentic, homegrown business. Jimmy squirts the car with the bug softener chemicals paying close attention to the front and mirrors. He then steam pressure cleans the car before giving it a hand wash and dry. I didn't need him to do the inside or armor all the tires. I just wanted him to give it a decent wash and get all the bugs off. And he did. Bonus: I got two great tips from Jimmy and another customer who was getting his wife's Mini detailed. The customer? DJ from KPFK in LA with a rich baritone voice as smooth as velvet. We talked LA BBQ for awhile. The tips? Where the best fried chicken and BBQ was in the neighborhood. They were right! Great fried chicken and BBQ. Mama's wasn't nearly as good as my fave 5 star place back home, but Jimmy's will do just fine next time I'm in Omaha. While I was changing it, the scissor jack failed and tore the vehicle's lift point. The spare then failed as it inflated. After a three-hour roadside ordeal, the car was towed to the Lincoln dealership under Mercedes-Benz policy. Lincoln replaced the tire under warranty but refused to address the jack damage because we bought the vehicle in Omaha. They wouldn't even discuss repair options or costs. The next day I drove the damaged G63 to Omaha, frustrated and fully expecting another runaround. The first person I saw was Andrew. He had never met me and didn't know why I was there. He walked up and asked, "How can I make your day?" That one question changed everything. He listened to the whole story. He also stopped mid-conversation to call one of his team members, who had already left for the weekend, to inform him a unique situation would be waiting for him first thing Monday. The service advisor asked if he needed to turn around...neither of them had to do or offer what they did. But they did it anyway..! Our Service advisor kept us informed every step of the way: the process, the repairs, and the time needed. Their engineers and technicians worked out how the damage happened in the first place, confirming the jack had failed. They ordered new parts, painted them, and installed them perfectly. It looks like it never happened. Truly restored my confidence and I will continue to rely on Andrew and his staff for our future needs for my wife's current and future Mercedes-Benz AMGs. 1-Star Review - I Feel Completely Cheated by Omaha Mercedes-Benz…read more I never expected to write something like this about a Mercedes-Benz dealership, but Omaha Mercedes-Benz absolutely betrayed my trust. I paid $61,500 for a Sprinter van, believing I was purchasing a reliable Mercedes vehicle from a reputable dealer. Instead, I ended up with a van that was defective from the very first day. Even during the purchase, I should have noticed the red flags. The buying experience was almost too easy--effortless. They were extremely quick to push the sale through, even though I live all the way in Southern California. Now it's painfully obvious why: they wanted to get rid of this van as fast as possible. And they succeeded--at my expense. At 7,546 miles, the van was already showing the same issues I'm dealing with today. I didn't recognize it at the time--this was my first diesel van, and I trusted the dealership. I trusted the Mercedes name. I assumed they wouldn't sell a defective vehicle. Fast forward a little over one year, and now at 40,000 miles, the van has a major transmission failure involving the torque converter. Multiple service advisors told me the same thing: A torque converter does NOT fail at 40,000 miles unless the issue was already there. These components typically last around 200,000 miles. So what does that mean? That the van had a serious, pre-existing defect, and it was sold to me anyway. I feel cheated, misled, and taken advantage of. I gave this dealership my trust and over $61,000 of my hard-earned money, and all I got in return was a defective van and a massive financial and emotional burden. Omaha Mercedes-Benz should be ashamed of this. This is not how you treat customers. This is not how you uphold the Mercedes-Benz brand. If you're thinking about buying a vehicle from Omaha Mercedes-Benz, be extremely careful. I learned the hard way that an "effortless" purchase can be a sign that they're just trying to unload a problem vehicle on someone else. Don't let it happen to you.

The gentleman there, David, was so nice. He invited us to stay inside while he had the car taken into your work area. He and another young man took at least 30-45 minutes to get the thing out and they plugged it up. We were able to get home safely. They were so, so nice and caring. Having to undertake a major repair with a shop we knew little about definitely made us a bit nervous, but from the very start Joe offered very competitive pricing and was very upfront about when he could get the work done. My son ended up having to leave the vehicle there and fly home and then go back a few weeks later for it while a used transmission was being shipped, but during that time Joe kept his car secure and even stored it inside as it was packed full. Even when there were some issues with the used transmission that we had sourced Joe worked with them on our behalf and got them to warranty it and send a different one. Today my son picked up the car and it runs beautifully.
