I've been a member at Best Buy for more than 10 years, starting when I lived in Miami, FL and…read morecontinuing now that I live in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Every time I consider canceling my yearly membership, something else occurs which proves the value of keeping it. I'm a "heavy" tech user, due to the size of my family, we collectively have 2 desktop computers (just upgraded to Mac Mini M4) and 5 laptops and 5 tablets. For the adults, most of us also use not only ONE cell phone, but typically our jobs give us an assigned cell phone. Even though we're permitted to use the work issued phone for personal calls, we just NEVER EVER do that. So we also have 5 normal smartphones (some prefer android and some prefer iPhone) and one family member has a flip phone, too. Additionally because we live in a 100+ year old stone house, we have *never* been able to use routers or modems provided by *ANY* ISP provider (we've used them ALL - making the switch usually to get the lower price offer from another company - and are about to switch AGAIN) so I'll need to buy a modem to use with this change. When MESH came out we upgraded from WiFi extenders to a MESH unit to manage internet internally here at home. BEST THING EVER for older homes with thick walls. We also have extensive outdoor security cameras which require WiFi, and like many families, the affordability of flat screen TV's means that everyone in the family has one in their own room, as well as having a TV in the kitchen, living room, home office and family room, and in our basement which the family uses as an art studio. EVERYTHING "technology" was purchased via BEST BUY and very often we've been able to plan to buy in such a way as to do it during the best sales, flash sales and also for yearly BLACK FRIDAY sales. We also have utilized the trade-in to get money back for old tech as we upgrade, as well as buying refurbished devices - especially laptops and cell phones, to keep costs of these devices in a manageable range. I recently even purchased a king size gel mattress topper from Best Buy after experiencing a gel mattress while on vacation. I can't afford to buy the bed, but the topper seems to have improved our sleeping experience on our king sized bed without having to break the bank and buy a newer and really costly mattress. The Geek Squad/Genius Bar knows us well and has been so very helpful to assist us as we work to overcome any challenges. And, on that note of "SERVICE", it's just nice to be able to deal with REAL HUMAN BEINGS inside the Best Buy store when you need help and when something breaks. I LOVE IT!!

When all was said and done, he fixed the problem, my dryer works beautifully again, and the cost was very reasonable! I highly recommend Pro-Tech Appliance and Alejandro's outstanding service. I came in on Sunday to pick up some paint. The store wasn't busy, but I still had to wait 15…read moreminutes for someone to show up at the paint counter. There were employees at the front checkout, but they couldn't help because they didn't know how to operate the paint machines. When the paint associate finally arrived, she acted like she'd been there the whole time. She quickly got my paint and then immediately moved on to the next person. When I told her I had another question, she gave me a look like I was interrupting her flow and bothering her. After reluctantly answering, she continued helping others, clearly showing poor customer service skills. I've usually had great experiences at this location, but my last two visits have been awful. On a previous trip, I was making a return and explained to the associate that I'd used store credit for the purchase. I also mentioned that it wouldn't show when I swiped my card, but I had my receipt. Despite this, the associate processed the return as "no receipt" and only refunded half my money.

It is frustrating to think that someone in an orange smock will help; only to find out that your questions have interrupted their cell phone activity. But, I should have known better because each time I enter this Home Depot, employees offer the same impeccable service: nonchalant, please don't bother me, let me look away, or better yet, you (the customer) please go away. I must be a glutton for punishment to keep patronizing an establishment that disregards the importance of customer inclusion. Home Depot thank you for a lesson learned.

Hawkins replied quickly and definitively, and provided a reasonable look-see price that would be folded into the final price if I got the work done. Even better, they could come out the next day. The tech, Shawn, called when he was 16 min out and arrived right at the beginning of the two-hour window that had been promised. He couldn't have been more friendly, polite and professional. He got to the root of the problem quickly, and then found another. He fixed that, too. It had been a clogged drain and a blown wire of some kind. Then, he gave me some tips on how to keep the unit clean and fit going forward. I am so glad I called Hawkins and they will be my go-to appliance repair from now on. I could not have been more pleased with the work that was done.

Technician left three screws on the floor (they were reportedly replaced when we called about it) but it's still a hazard - we have a crawling baby who loves to put everything in his mouth and the three screws were in a high traffic area. Finally, they charged more than what they quoted through this app.
