Guiellermo, the owner, is trustworthy, stands by his promises, and builds a really nice fence. Since it was a custom privacy fence with an electric dual gate, the project had its challenges. We used pictures of similar fences to frame what we wanted and then put our own touches to the design. It did take a few field adjustments during construction but his guys were on top of it and the overall finished project is outstanding. A big plus is that our neighbors seem to be happy with it and we have received many compliments on both the look and uniqueness. Something not to be overlooked , is that W&D has not hesitated to come back and make some minor gate adjustments, after the fence has settled it. The video estimate was easy and he walked me through every option without overcomplicating anything. He broke down pricing on several fence styles that would fit what I was looking for and explained the materials in simple, clear language. The whole estimate took about 45 minutes, and that included my questions. If you have a big project it might take longer, but Darcy stayed patient and never felt pushy. He followed up respectfully by text, phone, and email. We ultimately decided to hold off until spring, but I told him he's welcome to reach out again because he knows his stuff and represents the company well. Ergeon came in a bit higher than some of the other quotes we got, but the quality of their work in the photos looks great and they actually guarantee it. A lot of contractors don't. I have 10 foot panel of 6' chain link fence that needs to be replaced. One said there was a $1400 minimum charge another said the minimum amount would be 34 feet of fencing. One of Noah's Ark five star reviews stated 'I talked to 4-5 different businesses, and they were all either rude or unresponsive.' That was my experience. I looked through Yelp to find somebody to fix the fence and found Castillo Fencing. I love our dog and she loves to visit our neighbors but I wanted to keep her in the yard or she might get run over by vehicles or worse, get hunted by predators in the neighborhood. There are coyotes, and foxes in SA neighborhoods, you know. I saw something in the ad that told me to call him and the owner, Jose, to my surprise, answered the phone. I told him about my fence issue, and he said he would look at the fence and go from there. Luckily, there were other issues that I wanted him to see, and wanted him to build an additional chain link fence with a 6-foot gate. He showed up like he said he would and I showed him the areas in the fence that needed some work. Also, I told him about building a chain link with a 6-foot gate and he said that he could do it. Luckily, he wanted to start that day and sure enough, we agreed on a price, and off he went to get materials. He dug the fence holes for the metal posts, see them in cement, and once he was done, he said he'd wait until tomorrow for the cement to set. He was coming back the next day to finish up. It took him a couple of days to get done because the materials for the fence gate were unavailable at the big box stores. He was able to get them finally and finished the job. Overall, he did a wonderful job getting everything that I wanted to be done. He went out of his way to get the job done well and have a satisfied customer. There are not too many workers that will handle this small job but Jose wanted to do it and I was so pleased. I was so glad to find Jose. He builds all kinds of fences and I told him that if I had more fences to build and fix, he will be the first one I would call.

To be reasonable here I would have rated higher if he would have had the common decency and little professionalism to not bid or "pull" away from fixing it with a simple call or text.
