The video estimate was easy and he walked me through every option without overcomplicating anything. He broke down pricing on several fence styles that would fit what I was looking for and explained the materials in simple, clear language. The whole estimate took about 45 minutes, and that included my questions. If you have a big project it might take longer, but Darcy stayed patient and never felt pushy. He followed up respectfully by text, phone, and email. We ultimately decided to hold off until spring, but I told him he's welcome to reach out again because he knows his stuff and represents the company well. Ergeon came in a bit higher than some of the other quotes we got, but the quality of their work in the photos looks great and they actually guarantee it. A lot of contractors don't. They contacted me after my review was posted. They said they would look into reversing the payment and charging another account for the partial job. I just got another email saying they wont refund and let me charge another account. I am livid. I strongly recommend everyone go elsewhere. I have screenshots of me telling them not to charge that account and that I have another account to charge, but they went ahead and charged it anyways. I also have screenshots of me asking them to contact me, but they only did after I posted a negative review. These people do not care about their customers. After my fence was damaged during hurricane Beryl, I was browsing online for fence repair companies. I contacted several companies, and the immediate response I got was from Ergeon. They came and gave me a free estimate for replacing the entire fence and also staining it. The quotes were reasonable. No advance payment required. Payment is only processed upon completion of the entire project. After scheduling installation, their contractor came out and did such an excellent job. He and his team were on time, very friendly and cleaned up after they were done. I saw them walk around the backyard and made sure they had picked up everything. He and his team also did a great job with staining the fence. Ergeon's customer service is excellent. Phone calls are always answered. I have received prompt responses to my emails. They patiently answered all my questions. Ergeon Fence did a great job. They had helped us repair our fence after Beryl, but we had additional damage due to wear and tear and we had them replace another section of fence. Their prices are very reasonable and they use high-quality materials. Moreover, they dig their posts deep into the ground and secure them well, which will add to the durability of the fence - substantially better than the materials that our builder initially used. I reached out to Ergeon for a quote on a new fence, plus a flag pole installation. Raphael contacted me via text. When it came time for the estimate, he didn't come to my house. Instead, we used a a text linked live video link. He was able to get measurements while I used my phone to walk the property. How cool is that??!!. He texted me a quote within an hour. I was pleased with the first of three bids. The second and third bidders showed up the next day, arriving by pickup truck. Although Raphael's bid was not the lowest, he made me feel very comfortable with his approach to providing a detailed work order for the job. It included every gate, fence length and haul away service. Ergeon doesn't provide flag pole installation services, but here's why Raphael really impressed the heck out of me: he offered and provided a short list of pole installation providers in the San Antonio area. I've reached out 7 times to have someone come fix an issue I've been having with the gate that they installed and every time it's the same old story. "The team is not available right now and we will have someone call you back". I can't even access the backyard and guess how many times I've been called back? 0. But their subcontractor had some issues, to which Ergeon addressed and made every effort to ensure that I had a good experience. Not sure how long these other folks waited before submitting a review, but I purposely waited. It's been 69 days since our fence installation and I will not recommend Ergeon. That in itself is enough said. Sure the Customer Specialist was pleasant and the quote was very reasonable, but the subcontractor performed the worst job of any tradesman who has done work on our home for almost 15 years. They were fast and completed the work in one day, and this is why. I waited so long for this review due to the fact it is dry here due to lack of rain and the soil cracks. Water restrictions prevent me from watering as often as I would like. A number of 4X4 move when I push on them because they are not 2 feet deep and only 1 bag of concrete were used on each post. I know this because I counted bags of concrete on trailer when they arrived. Also a number of posts have large chunks of concrete above soil lever which is another bad sign. All the research I did showed at least 2 feet deep for posts with a minimum of 2-3 bags of concrete. So I'll need to water around the posts on regular basis to prevent my knew fence from falling over. I got what I paid for. I kept my last fence from falling over for 13 years, I'll keep this one up for 3 until we sell and move north. If you live in central or south Texas I do not recommend this company. The droughts will cause their shortcuts to become a bigger headache. Pablo G read more

I hired Ergeon to replace my fence and the experience was extremely stressful! The fence project was supposed to be completed within 4 days. It took nearly 2 weeks due to inept management and poor workmanship. I had to review workmanship daily and communicate all of the issues to Ergeon. The gate had to be redone 3 times. They constantly tried to cut corners using split pickets and securing brackets without screws in the correct places. When the project was finally finished, they left mounds of dirt in my yard along with trash. I've worked with many contractors and this one was the absolute worst! read more

We just signed up with Ergeon to install a new fence. The process was a little stressful because we did not know what to expect in regarding to pricing and we did not want to spend a large amount for this project. Well, we worked with a gentleman named David and, during the multiple conversations with him, we received a lot of information. David sent us an estimate that had a very detailed presentation but was very easy to see what was covered. We did have 1 bid from another fence company and their bid was in the same ballpark as the one that David gave us, but it appeared that the materials that the other company was going to use were not up to par with the materials presented by David.
