The estimator never followed through with the written estimate. I originally budgeted $2500 for the job but never received an estimate. Just poor customer service. i was contacted by neighbor for us to redo our fence. i had to lave her in charge as we had out of town guests. i expected a good nieghbor fence although later when i saw bid it did not specify but on bid it was very specific on how it would be built and it wasn't close most fences have 2x4 inside of 4x4 not this company they put 2x4 on outside of 4x4 and then 1x leaving gap of two inches by each 4x4 for bees and hornets i am very unhappy with this company and would never recomend them to anyone gary c 1 star read more

After the workers left, I was missing several items from my home. I filed a police report and gave more details.

Needed a price estimate. Set up appointments for someone to come out twice and they failed to even show up. The 1st appointment was set up for Saturday at 2:00pm. I called the rep at 1:45 to make sure he would be coming by. No answer, I left a voicemail. He then called at 2:10 and I was unavailable. He left me a voicemail to call him back, which I did at 2:20 . I left another voicemail and never heard back from anyone. I then get a phone call from a very condescending woman about some one leaving a voicemail with a rescheduled time and date. That person never gave me a rescheduled time and date so when I figured, let me try again, maybe there was a miscommunication. Well sad to say they never showed up to the 2nd appointment. Unclear estimate. No contract. I did think the price was too good to be true and it was. After choosing this company over others because of price and the reviews here and having the fence installed, I discovered it was actually more than $1,000.00 more than the estimates I received from this company or other companies. Not a pleasant surprise to get after the fact. Some of the horizontal boards have dark rotted looking streaks in them and when the fence was completed there was a large gap at the bottom of 2 sections so they added horizontal boards along the ground that looks cobbled together and unprofessional. The previous fence I was replacing didn't need these additional boards as the pickets all were the correct length to flow smoothly with the land so I'm not sure what went wrong during the installation of this one. At one point they shut off the water to the house without letting us know and said it would be back on in a while but didn't say why they needed to turn it off so I don't know If a water pipe was damaged or what happened. The written estimate had no total amount and no line item. There was a price written in the notes and because it was a few hundred $ less than other quotes I received I asked twice if that was the total, taxes and all. I was told yes and decided to go with this company. After the work was done I thought "well, you get what you pay for..." However.... The invoice didn't come until weeks after the fence was installed and the invoice was for over $1,000.00 more than the price in the notes I was told was th correct total. Unbelievable. I would not recommend this company. I could have had the same job done (probably without the rotted looking horizontal boards and strange extra boards nailed to the bottom to cover the gap) for over $1000.00 less and I wish I had gone with one of the other companies. TL;DR: Was given a confusing estimate with no total amount or line items, verbally told a particular price written on the contract was correct, was then charged over $1,000.00 more. I like detailed quotes, so that made me feel very comfortable. There is no upfront payment until your project is completed and you are satisfied. Mr. Huerta often kept in contact with me during the project. He communicated with me by cell phone, text or email. The working Crew assigned to my project was Manuel, Jacob and Mariano. Let me tell you, these young men worked their butts off to make sure the fence was put up in a timely but professional manner. During the installation process, they were very receptive to tweaking some areas of the fence. The fence came out amazing and my wife is very happy. After the project was completed, I emphasized to Mr. Huerta how hard working and amazing his workers were. They reminded me of disciplined military service members, when I use to be in the Army. AAA Fence Pros is the best fence company in San Antonio....period. I thoroughly researched fence companies in the San Antonio area and obtained seven estimates for a six foot board on board cedar fence. Hands down, the AAA estimate was the most professionally prepared and very competitively priced. Fred Huerta, one of the owners, prepared a detailed estimate complete with a diagram of fence section footages. The estimate provided the base cost of the fence by section with Postmaster steel posts, the addition costs for the board on board design, the 2X6 baseboard, the 2X6 cap and 1X6 trim, and stain/seal. This breakdown allowed me to evaluate cost effectiveness of the additional work which is not possible with a bundled estimate. All work was performed by employees.....no subcontractors were used. No down payment was required, full payment is due upon completion with a one year warranty on material and labor. The removal of the old fence and installation of the new was flawless and the new fence workmanship is impeccable. At my request, the entire 235 foot fence was completed in one day thanks to a seven man crew. Both neighbors are impressed with the work AAA performed and told me that they would use AAA in the future. I highly recommend Fred Huerta and the AAA Fence Pros team. read more

Stop looking for a fence contractor and hire these professionals now!!!! Don't even worry about getting any other quotes... just hire these guys and sit back and relax. We just had our fence completely replaced and these guys are AMAZING. After speaking with Rey, we learned that everyone who does the work is employed by the company and not contracted workers, and it shows. They take pride in their work. Three gentlemen showed up on time and got right to work. They cleaned up all of mess and took all of the trash and old wood with them. It took them about 7 hours to complete the fence. The fence is perfect, they made sure it was straight and spaced evenly. The gate is amazing! It smoothly glides open and closed. Our neighbors also had their fence done and through all of the mass communication between us, our neighbors, and Rey, Rey was so helpful and patient. We had some miscommunication with our neighbors and Rey was extremely honest in resolving the issue. We will always use and highly recommend this company. For reference, the total fence we had replaced was 117 linear feet with one 4-foot gate. We had Postmaster metal posts and 6" wide Western Red Cedar pickets in the shadowbox style (pickets on both sides - so that costs more than just pickets on one side) and it cost about $4,200. Keep in mind this is during COVID19 in which there is a cedar shortage and wood prices have tripled. Amazing work at a great price!!! PS. As I read the other reviews here about not getting an estimate or not being able to reach anyone, I have to think they are talking about another company because that was not our experience ever.
