Absolutely Outstanding Pediatric Dental Care!…read more Novato Pediatric Dental has been a complete life changing experience in what dental care means to for our family. Type of care: Their team specializes in pediatric dental care and it really shows. They take a gentle approach and personal attention to care for each of children's specific needs. The staff takes time to explain everything in detail ( and more than once!). From the break of the procedure to any out of pocket expense, thank you again. Care quality: Dr. Robinson treats my child like one of his own, he reminds me he also has boys often. He's attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to ensure comfort and thorough care. Whether it's a first visit or surgery every step is handled with professionalism and compassion. Office experience: The office is clean, modern, and completely designed with kids in mind. There are toys, books, and TVs playing kid-friendly shows to make waiting easy, though. The front desk team is organized and extremely helpful, making scheduling and billing straightforward. We're so grateful to have found Novato Pediatric Dental.

They just now are taking COVID seriously when the mask mandate is almost over with. A year ago they had a packed waiting room and had really no procedure for COVID. Got ride of all their old staff and hired young people newly out of school. The waiting room is boring and dull. More like an adult pediatric place. No new equipment for kids or the dentist. They have no equipment for the parents to see the x-rays with the dentist. Staff rush the kids and parents. It's just a sweet shop. Really sad as it was a well known place and they did such a great job. Changing to any dentist we can get into. Don't waste your kids time here.

They…read moreclearly take care of a lot of children and teens here, but I also feel totally comfortable going there as an adult. Dr's Kim and Wilson are both on point. Their office runs like a well oiled machine. They are always on time, and they handle claims submission and payment like pro's. I see another reviewer that seems to have had a bad experience with the insurance piece, but that was not my experience at all. Most importantly, they seem to know everything there is to know about Invisalign. I had done Invisalign through a general dentist about 9 years ago and the experience was totally different. I would highly recommend going to an expert if you are going to invest several thousand dollars for treatment (mine was about $5,000 for a year-long treatment plan).

I've been disappointed by how much the pricing has increased over time, particularly for something…read moreas straightforward as a replacement retainer. There no longer seems to be any consideration or loyalty pricing for long-term patients. After calling around to other local orthodontic offices, I found comparable replacement retainers for nearly half the cost, and overall pricing differences that can amount to thousands of dollars for similar services. I've had orthodontic care at other offices in the past, including a more affordable practice in Novato (now retired) and Wilson, and the quality of results was the same. Unfortunately, this office now feels far more expensive than others offering comparable care. While the staff and outcomes have been ok, the pricing no longer feels competitive or reflective of long-standing patient relationships. I would encourage prospective patients to compare pricing with other offices before committing. Also, most advanced offices offer scanners instead of molds, so much more precise! And now if one loses retainer the can use scan avoiding costly old fashion mold replacement. Probably no good for $ for dentist but great for patients!
