My 12-year old experiences anxiety, which can flare up re: dental work, and the care, patience, kindness, and compassion Dr. Sophie has consistently shown him is truly remarkable. She moves at a pace he is comfortable with, she explains what she's doing in as much or as little detail as he would like, she normalizes uncomfortable/anxious feelings, and creates an environment that always feels safe and comfortable. Her passion for her work is evident and it's my personal opinion that any child who gets to have her as part of their care team is incredibly lucky. I am so grateful for Dr. Sophie and Sunnyside that I felt compelled to write my first yelp review ever about them!
