I chipped a molar on a Friday afternoon and, although it wasn't bothering me pain-wise, I texted Dr. Cappelen's office to see about an appointment the next week. Efficient as ever, Raylene was responding to me with appointment options immediately after they opened Monday morning. She found an opening that was perfect for me on Tuesday afternoon. I arrived early and the doctor saw me right away! She carefully investigated the tooth in question and told me that all was well. She also cautioned me to get back in touch right away if it began hurting or caused any discomfort. She was so helpful in explaining how out-of-network insurance worked, and even ran a Delta Dental pre-authorization--in real-time--to help make sure there were no surprises. With a lovely spirit and super professional demeanor, she lured me in. She also took great care in securing my appointment, and let me know when a sooner one became available, which I jumped on. The entire staff was also incredibly kind and service-oriented. Dr. Cappelen demonstrated great inquiry skills and led me through a thorough exam. I've experienced such wonderful care at Dr. Cappelen's office. Everyone there is kind, caring, helpful, and professional. Dr Cappelen is friendly, thorough, and meticulous. She communicated through the procedures and discussed further treatment options with me - with no judgment or up-sale like some dentists have in the past. My new crown is perfect- it was so easy and painless. I also needed a root canal so she offered trusted referrals - that went swimmingly as well. Insurance is a pain in the mmm - however they are so helpful to look up what will be covered and work as best they can to ma those benefits. I believe they also can provide nitrous if the procedure makes the patient too anxious. I didn't begin to think about needing that because everyone in my mouth was gentle and supportive- and again, so clearly knowledgeable. I have feared the dentist for years - but this office has changed all of that. The clear winners here will be my teeth! read more

I called in last Friday for some pain/ discomfort on a molar and they were able to accommodate me with an appointment that Monday. The waiting room and the exam rooms are all very tidy and clean. I've always disliked going to the dentist (just as most people) I get anxious. The assistants make you so relaxed and they explain what they're doing when they're doing it. I was able to get a referral from Dr. Cappelen for a specialist and look forward to the follow up with her. The appointment reminders are awesome (text message) and then emails if you're past due.
