She replied that they would not be able to provide an estimate unless I made an appointment with them first. Second, I have one tooth bridge, but I received a bill charging me for three teeth. I emailed them about the mistake, and they eventually corrected it. The third issue was that the back of my bridge had several sharp edges that were cutting my tongue. Dr. Yee adjusted it once for me, but I could still feel the sharp edges afterward. It was seriously affecting my daily life, so I went back a second time. During that visit, I felt that Dr. Yee was unhappy about having to fix it again and did not pay attention to the issue. He kept shaking his head and told me not to use my tongue to touch the sharp edge. When I accidentally closed my mouth, Dr. Yee said, "I told you not to close your mouth. Some people just never listen. When I say turn your head right, they turn left. When I say turn left, they turn right." Throughout the entire visit, he seemed impatient. Although he did another quick adjustment, the problem was still not fully resolved. At that time. I felt like I was being traded like a idiot. I truly believed those sharp edges were fixable, so I mentioned the issue to Dr. Seda, who was performing my implant procedure. He immediately saw the problem and went the extra mile to smooth out the sharp edges for me. It took him less than a minute to adjust it, and the issue was completely solved. After my experience, I will never go back to Dr. Yee's clinic again.

She was being so aggressive and scary (giving Steve Martin in Little shop of Horrors vibes) that I finally decided it was time to leave. I asked her to stop and she said, "ok, bye, sir" (wtf - I'm a woman and not particularly masculine). It took me a year to decide to give them another chance. This time, a few weeks ago, I got a hygienist named Karen (of course). While she was poking around in my mouth, I winced slightly when she poked the gums behind my two front teeth. She asked if I was ok. I told her I was fine, but that I felt the sharp tool on my gums. Instead of saying, "oops, sorry!" or something innocuous, she instantly got defensive, saying she didn't touch my gums. Not the response you want from the person holding the sharp tools! She asked if I wanted her to numb my gums and I said, "no thanks". Instead of just continuing on with her work, she said, "Um, ok, because you seem a little ...". She didn't finish the sentence, but it was just odd - she was either projecting or trying to provoke a response. As she continued to be rude, I decided it wasn't worth my time to have someone who hates their job taking out their frustrations on my teeth and gums. I got up and left before it could get worse. I had a great dentist in the town where I used to live and there are many other dental practices in the same building as Evosmile. On my way out, I made an appointment with one of them.

I just think that is efficient on their part and my appointments ALWAYS started on time (maybe because of that very policy you were so upset by). Be on time people. Consideration makes the world go round. We live in the bay, there is traffic, account for it.
