Our new roof is beautiful. The bid was accurate and the owner, Kris, is honest and professional. I highly recommend.

They were not the cheapest quote I got, but obviously a roof is not something you want to skimp too much on, and they also were not the most expensive. This company completed the work on time, and didn't cut any corners. They were always available to answer my questions and took care to explain every step. From Mike's attention to detail and Adam's expertise, I really felt like I found the best company for not only our roof, but any future building/renovation needs I may have. I have already recommended them to a friend, who also found them to be polite, respectful, knowledgeable and fair. Thanks for a job well done, guys! Our new roof looks great!!

The quote was reasonable and the team was responsive. During the tear off we requested that they take out every old nail so that the plywood was perfectly smooth and ready for the new underlayment and they honored our request. They worked efficiently and kept everything neat, the whole project was finished in two days. Throughout the project, they kept us in the loop, showed up when they said they would, and made sure everything from scheduling to inspections, was handled smoothly. We really appreciated how organized and easy they were to work with. I'd happily recommend Nema Roofing to anyone looking for a dependable, professional, and genuinely pleasant team.

Though I don't have any leaks, I was concerned about El Niño pending and the fact that my roof was over 25 years old. Creative sent Salvador out to do the free assessment. After inspecting my roof he said that the previous company that had done the roof had done an excellent job with excellent materials. He thought it had 3-5 more years of life. He offered to do some general maintenance and repairs plus clean the gutters for $300. No other company mentioned an alternative. Within a day Jon, the owner of Creative Roofing sent me two bids; one for replacement and one for the repairs. He also included a link to the asphalt tiles they use, which was helpful. They had the lowest replacement bid of the 3 companies. Salvador came out and did the repairs. I was very pleased with all aspects of working with this company.

Amazing experience from start to finish!…read more I am getting solar and they would not install since my roof was not in the best condition. The quote I got was the best price for the amount of good reviews they had. Jon is very responsive, did not make (too much) fun of my silly questions, and overall great to work with. They were very up front with the cost and what additional costs might be incurred during the job. That is scary to hear, but they did not find too many areas of concern and only had to replace a few pieces. It was communicated and I agreed upon it before they did any additional work or added any cost. They were too nice and did not even ask me to move my vehicles (I did before their scheduled arrival, which they were on time for). They worked tirelessly throughout the day and were respectful of the property. Nothing was damaged and they cleaned before leaving each day. There was a bit of misunderstanding that Salvador did not know he was supposed to do the small section attached to the house as well, but they happily came out again a few days later. This just makes me feel that much more comfortable that they would be responsive if there are any other issues I may encounter in the future. Only time will tell how well it will hold up. However, it seems like quality work and I am a happy camper with the great looking new roof. I will not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone! Thanks again!

He is kind, attentive and thoughful. A full roof replacement is a big investment, so feeling informed and confident throughout the process really mattered to us, and Tim made sure we always did. He even managed to get us an earlier start date than expected, which was a wonderful surprise. I was just as impressed with the rest of the crew. They documented every stage of the process, took great care to protect the surrounding work area, and left everything clean at the end of each day. What really stood out most was Tim's character. It is clear that he is passionate about what he does and genuinely wants to do the best job he can, and that is something you don't come across very often. He took what could have been a really stressful experience and made it feel completely manageable. I honestly wish every service provider was like Tim and GreatWay Roofing. I would highly recommend them for any roofing project!

Based on consistent good reviews, I contacted Shelter in August of 2025…read more We had experienced numerous electrical power outages for several years, so I began to investigate possible solutions. What I wanted ideally was a system that would automatically power our home in the event of a power failure. I initially looked at generator systems, but discovered several downsides to that technology. Generators need fuel, which could be be gasoline, diesel, or natural gas. Of these, natural gas was the most attractive, but that would require significant trenching for a new line around the house. In addition, placement of a generator was a problem, due to zoning requirements. Also, gasoline/diesel/natural gas generators have an internal combustion engine, which needs maintenance, like oil changes. The best solution for me was to have a battery backup system installed. This type of system is also known as a "power wall." Shelter recommended a 2-battery system made by FranklinWH (WH stands for Whole House). The batteries are 15 KWH each, for a total of 30 KWH. In our case, this is sufficient to power our home for 24 hours, even during the summer when we are using the central A/C. Other times of the year, 30 KWH would power everything for 48 hours or more. Since installation we have had several power failures, ranging from a few minutes to several hours. In all cases, the backup system kicked in so quickly that didn't even notice. We didn't even have to reset any clocks. When then grid power comes back online, the batteries recharge automatically. Shelter did a great job of understanding what we wanted, and provided an excellent solution. We had a very minor issue that we noticed several months later, and Shelter responded immediately to remedy the issue. I recommend Shelter Roofing and Solar without hesitation.

Jason was the one that came out and he did a smaller system quote for me and my wife. Jason couldn't for the life of him tell me how the system was even more expensive than not using a prepaid ppa. I was also ignored by phone calls and "I'll get back to you" was what he told me. I would stay away and use some other company that is very clear about how the new incentives work.

Fritts Roofing may do a great job with composite shingle roofs and commercial roofs, but from my…read morepersonal experience, residential Spanish tile roofs are not Fritts' forte! I'm going to try to keep this as objective as possible... The ordeal with Fritt's Roofing began when the owner, Joe, told us a permit for our roofing project wasn't needed while the City of Oxnard said one was needed. It was one bad thing after another from then until the end. The entire project was handled very unprofessionally, and I feel as though we and our home were disrespected: (1) Fritts Roofing caused a lot of stucco damage to the house and a lot of damage to a small tower that is a key focal point of the home. It cost us close to $2000 to have the damage repaired. Fritts attempted to camouflage some of the damage by slapping a coat of paint over it. (2) Roofing tiles were misaligned and had to be redone (thankfully, we caught it and brought it to Joe's attention before the entire roof had been completed). Tiles were laid just barely touching at the vertical edges rather than overlapping. This would have caused drainage issues and, eventually, major water damage to our roof. (3) Workers often stomped around on a portions of the roof that were nowhere near the job they were doing. As even non-professionals know, this is not good for a roof. (4) Workers repeatedly trampled through flower beds, smashing plants in the process, rather than using walkways that surround all of the planted areas. (5) Tools, equipment, and supplies were placed in planted areas (causing more damage to the garden) rather than on the concrete driveway just inches away. The list goes on! If I had to choose between another experience with Fritts Roofing and a leaky roof, I'd choose the leaky roof. There's a good chance the owner will reply to this and lamblast me for my honest opinions. Just keep in mind that I have nothing to gain by posting this. In the words of Amy Grant: "You've got to know who to, who not to listen to. You know they're gonna hit you from all sides; better make up your mind who to, who not to listen to."
