Brittany (Britney?) the assistant manager at this Drybar deserves a huge shoutout. I've been coming…read moreto this location for a long time and she is always kind, has a great vibe, and actually cares a lot. She goes above and beyond and really deserves to be noticed by this company. She is amazing at hair but also at managing. 10/10

Listen, I'm a guy. I don't know crap about hair. You could sit me in a barber chair, spin me around…read morethree times, spray me with Windex and I'd walk out going "yeah looks good buddy thanks." But my girlfriend? Different story. Sweetest woman alive. Works hard. Teaches Sunday school. Actual good human being. Which apparently made her the perfect victim for this place. She books an appointment at Drybar. Not some last minute "squeeze me in" bull. A real reservation. Confirmed the day before. She drives through LA traffic for THIRTY MINUTES which already should earn you financial compensation, finds parking on Sunset which basically requires a blood sacrifice and giving Karen Bass your first born, walks in... ...and they hit her with: "Ohhhh noooo we actually don't have anyone available." Then why did you take the appointment? Seriously. What are we doing here? Are we just free styling the schedule? Is this a salon or an escape room? I swear to God this place pulled the most LA move imaginable. Smiling directly in your face while completely screwing you over. It's like that Seinfeld episode "no I don't think you do understand what a reservation is" I mean she booked it, confirmed the day before, how hard is this? Too much Erewhon in your veins to allow you to think properly. And they do it with that fake customer service voice too. "Unfortunately there's nothing we can dooooo." There's PLENTY you could've done. You could've not booked the appointment. That would've been a fantastic start. And the attitude? Jesus Christ. The passive aggressive LA energy in this place could power the state grid and allow everyone to have a Tesla. Nobody takes responsibility either. Everybody acts like they're watching the problem happen from outside their own body. "Oh wow that's so crazy." IS IT? You work here! And can we talk about the prices for a second? You'd think for this amount of money they were rebuilding women from scratch in the back room. It's a blowout. Relax. At least give her a reach around for the value. Now here's where this became MY problem. I'm writing this because I'm collateral damage. We had a wedding dinner later that night. Guys... if you've never been around a woman whose hair plans got destroyed hours before an event, count your blessings. The mood in that car ride instantly turned into DEFCON 1. I'm sitting there trying to survive like a hostage negotiator. I felt like Melania after Trump told me tonight's the night we bring the Diet Cokes into bed. "No babe it still looks good." Wrong answer. "You're beautiful no matter what." Also wrong answer. There ARE no right answers. You just sit there and accept that your evening is now built on a foundation of stress, hairspray, and emotional terrorism. A woman's hair plans need to be kept. This is how issues arose in the Middle East. I can bet my life on that. So yeah, I'm writing this review because I became collateral damage from this place's incompetence. And judging by the reviews, this isn't rare. This place treats appointments like that scene in the departed; Like "hey maybe we'll honor it, maybe we won't, maybe go F yaself Honestly at least the DMV has the decency to look miserable while ruining your day. These people do it while acting like they should be in a skincare commercial. Drybar on Sunset? More like Drystaff. drychair, dry car and tonight? Thanks, Dry bed. Rating: 9/11 because I will never forget the pompous attitudes and condescending smile when she was told no. We ain't Karen's here, but if Karen's got together and said "let's open a hair salon!" Well, hypocrisy, thy name, is Dry Bar. Keep your appointments. Ain't that hard. K thnx babe Xoxoxoxo

Horrible stuff in service if you're going in there to get help for extensions or learn more about…read moretheir products, be ready to be treated very poorly. I got the worst customer service I've ever received in a very long time and they reported my last two reviews to get them taken off and mind you. I drove all the way from the valley to come to the store to get a better look at the quality of the extensions before I purchase ... beware of the low quality experience you will receive

This review is long overdue, but I really want to highlight this spot and especially my stylist,…read moreAsia, for doing such a wonderful job with my blowout. I really struggled to find a place to get a blowout for my curly hair. Every place that came up on Yelp and Google Maps either had horrible reviews, or it was some Dry Bar/other chain equivalent which are always bad at estimating time and consistently result in a frizzed out and rushed blow out. I found Glam Seamless after a long LONG online search and decided to take a risk and try them out because they mentioned blow outs even though they specialize in extensions. Their location is STUNNING. It's a quiet, tucked away oasis on a side street that's just to the side of the usual chaos on Sunset Blvd. Parking is pretty hard so don't make my mistake and make sure to allot at least 10 min. to find a spot before your appointment. Asia did a really wonderful job. She was detail-oriented and really took her time with my hair instead of rushing. I especially appreciate her commitment to helping me look and feel great before a big presentation I had that next morning (my whole reason for getting the blow out). I can't recommend this place enough, and I hope that Glam Seamless considers leaning more into the blow out services to help keep this wonderful salon as busy as it deserves to be.
