I have to agree with everyone else who has written a review for Ray Mount. Wow! So professional, courteous, fast (same day service), and knowledgeable. What I thought was going to be a nightmare job (my old garbage disposal went out, and the new ones are not hard wired, so before a new one could be installed, I had to have an outlet installed) turned into a very quick, pleasurable experience. They did the job in no time and were nice and funny while they did it. They were also really sweet to my cat and even asked about the other one (shy and hiding upstairs). As a cat person, that is really appreciated. Outstanding service overall. I highly recommend! As someone who has had a LOT of repair personnel in and out of my house, Ray Mount was by far the nicest and most professional I've seen. I would like to add the following: I find it hard to believe if you pointed out "in advance" that the plastic was cracked when you never even examined it in the first place. During your first visit, when you came in for the estimate, both the covers had been already been taken off the ceiling fixtures and put aside in the corner of the kitchen, two days prior to your visit. A contractor that I hired to work on my house told me that it needs to be completely rewired. I was shocked at that statement because I just bought the house and the previous owner had done extensive upgrades not to long ago. I knew that I needed a second opinion. Called Ray at the last minute to help us move an outlet before we had a large entertainment center installed. Thankfully, Ray rearranged his schedule to help us out! Others did not even return our calls so we are thankful for Ray's outstanding customer service. He completed the job perfectly, quickly and with no mess. Ray is a great guy -- honest and does great work. However, on two out of four jobs for us the work was never done. About 12 years ago he did some rewiring for us -- fast and reasonable. About two years later I called him for another job and talked to him. He said he would get back to me but never did -- and never returned my calls. Fast forward to about two years ago. Thinking it was time to give him another chance, we had him come out to rewire some kitchen fixtures. Fast and reasonable. This month we needed some electrical wall heaters replaced in a guest house. Once again Ray flaked out. My wife talked to him about it and then he just disappeared off the face of the earth. Too bad. read more

Wow! What can I say? I received the most incredible customer service from Ray. He was so personable and took the initial call personally. I called a ton of electricians and they all said sorry, "they" are in the field and can't call you but you can set up a consult and you can pay $$ but not have the chance to chat with someone first. I called Ray to fix my lights isuues (fuse/vreaker) last Tuesday due to good reviews on Yelp, and he called me back in the evening and told me he was busy with other projects and would call me back next day. But he did not. So, last Friday I called back and left a voicemail. Today is Monday, still no call back. I think this shows no respect to a potential customer, as I have respected him by not calling other electricians to give him a chance and waited for about week without lights of two rooms.
