I was referred by a friend whom Ofer worked on three of his homes. I first called him to ask if he would do a job in Azusa. He saif yes and therefore I scheduled a job two weeks out and discussed over the phone my needs and plan for my home. The plan was for him to put in some recessed lights and organize the main electrical box. Ofer called a few days prior to the appointment to confirm the job details. I definitely appreciated this planning and double checking to make sure I was still available! On the day of the job, Ofer came with one other associate and we went over the plans again to confirm. I had additional electrical issues that came up from when I talked to him a few days before. I had outlets that i discovered only worked when the overhead lights were on. I discussed it with Ofer and he said they will take a look and see if it can be fixed. They listened to all my concerns and gave me fair estimates! I then gave them permission and they started on the work. While they were working, I was stuck around in case they had any issues or questions. They asked me for my preference for such things like where I would want to place switches or how far apart I would want the spacing of recessed lights. There was good communication and I felt confident in these guys! When the work was done, I was amazed with the quality of the job they did! The recessed lights lined up perfectly with existing recessed lights! They also were able to repair the outlets I had trouble with! At the end of the day, we went over the final cost of the job was lower than I estimated! I was very satisfied with the overrall experience with Ofer and I have recommended him to my friends and family. I will definitely hire him again for any other electrical issues that may come up in the future! read more

There's a reason why they have good reviews. My electrical panel was super outdated, there was not enough power as my lights would occasionally go out. Ofer, the owner, was tremendously nice and honest. He came all the way from Tarzana to Buena Park to inspect my electrical panel. I upgraded it to 200 amps and it appears very professional. I also asked him to add an additional plug in one of the rooms and it works great. Price was super reasonable for the job, I highly recommend you take a look at his reviews and give him a call for any questions. Thank you again for your service!!!! read more

Good work and cleaned up after the job - that's commendable. Definitely recommend without a doubt.

We highly recommend Mov Electrical Services for electrical panel upgrade, addition, house rewiring or electrical circuit repair. Ofur and his team are very professional. We upgraded our electrical panel and moved it to a different location per DWP 's request. They started and finished the job on time. Everything was done correctly per the city code and permits. When the city inspector came, Ofur was there to answer any questions from the inspector. He also rewired our house. Again, he and his team did a fantastic job! I am very please with his high quality work at a good price, read more

Ofer has been helping me for the past 12 years. He's done many projects in the homes we've lived in, and also helped family and friends. Projects have ranged from small things (outlets and installing lights) to larger projects such as panels. Extremely reliable, friendly, professional, he's always on-site, and the icing on the cake is reasonable pricing. Electrical work is something I'm always wary and it's so reassuring I know someone I can trust and does top-notch work. read more

I read the reviews. Someone mentioned Ofer being tardy to an appointment. This is LA. Anyone is going to be tardy in this city of endless traffic. I do not get too excited on that point. Quality work at a good price. This guy is tidy, offers great work at a fair rate. His speed it amazing. His work is amazing. If I could give him 20 stars, I would. 12 recessed lights, moved three switches, moved a GFI, installed a hallway light. Removed a fan and two fixtures. Started at 1030am and finished by 5pm. Can you believe that? read more

Ofer is one of the best electricians / contractors I have worked with. I have hired him 4x now and he is honest, dependable, punctual, and extremely professional. A true diamond in the rough. We hired MOV to install recessed lighting throughout our house and they did an excellent job. Ofer is very professional and courteous. He came by on a Monday afternoon to give us a quote and returned with his crew on Wednesday to complete the job. They worked quickly and able to complete the installation of recessed lighting in a few hours. We are happy with the results and highly recommend MOV for future jobs. read more

MOV did an excellent job on my house. I met Ofer at 9am (exactly when he said he would be there here) and we went over the project which was 10 recessed lights, dimmers and a few GFI outlets. I told him I had to go to work and gave a check for the job and he gave me an invoice and agreed to sign a contract I had prepared for him. At 1:48pm he called me to tell me the job was completed and he sent me pictures of the work and locked the door on his way out. I came to my house to see great work. He left us the drywall cut outs which makes it easy for me to put back in and patch the drywall. I am very happy with MOV's professionalism and quality of work. The price was beyond fair and hope to use him again on another project I have in the plans. read more

Had some recessed lights installed in my kitchen. I think it's a one man show, but the guy, Ofer, was fine. Got his info off of craigslist. His ad claims $45 a light, but he leaves off the part where he charges another $65 to install a switch...it's still cheap, just saying--factor that in because most other places quotes per light are higher (but include a switch). Told me he would be there b/n 9 & 10. Showed at 10:30 (and didn't call), but he did do the job just fine. I am happy with the lights, and his pricing was the best. All in all, A-OK, just like the 3 stars represents. read more

Ofer has come by to work on our apartment building in West LA several times in the past few years and I always get compliments about the work he's done converting our lighting to 6" recessed lighting in the hallways and in the units (as they become available). Friendly, reliable, highly efficient and excellent work every time, he's the first we call we make for our lighting and electrical needs. Looking forward to calling on Ofer for our new construction projects in the future as well. Thank you very much. read more

I used him many times over the years. He used to take pride in his work. Now that he apparently has increased in business, he has crews do most of the jobs with the workmanship being of less quality, they do not show up timely, and Ofer no longer calls back when there is a problem. Sad! read more

They drove all the way from Valley and were able to install recessed led lights. Looks great and they did a perfect Job. Very happy with them and their team. Awesome Job read more

Great experience with MOV on a kitchen remodel with new circuits, LED cans, and rewiring sketchy job from a prior remodel (lamp cord for undercabinet lights, really?). Punctual, did what they said they would, responded immediately to inspector's notes...and very fair pricing. Ofer came back several times to complete various stages of work. Always showed up at agreed time. I will use him again. read more

I am reposting my review because my previous one has disappeared. Ofer was a subcontractor to my general contractor for work in my condo in Santa Monica. He usually arrived late, gave me a big hassle about not having parking, and complained with me about the work that had to be done, even though he was informed in advance by my general contractor. In other words, I felt his attitude left a lot to be desired. We did not get city approval the first time, but I guess that happens. read more

Ofer and team installed 17 recessed lights in our house. He is a knowledgable man with fair pricing and does great work. We trusted him to work alone in our home while we worked which says a lot. We would recommend him to others! read more

I hired him to install recessed lights in my living room and 3 rooms. The price was reasonable and the work was completed timely. I didn't give him 5 stars only because it took him over 2 weeks to replace one of the defeced light cans. While I do understand that he would had to drive at least 30 min. to come to my home for a service I didn't like a fact that I had to keep texting him for a schedule. But still he kept his word and finally able to send one of his guys for the after- service. Overall I was satisfied with his service. For those who lives in a condo and/or doesn't have a ceiling light at this time, be aware that cost to hire contractors for a drywall/patch and paint can be costly. I ended up spending another 50% of light installation. read more

Ofer rewired our entire house seven years ago including adding recessed lighting and a new control panel. We recently hired him to wire the garage for a garage door opener. Ofer has come out to work on my townhome twice now. The first time to fix an outlet that wasn't working and need to be rewired. Ofer and his team was a great pleasure to work with. I had recessed lighting put in as well as ceiling fans installed. Prices were just right and noting beats great customer service.
