In a perfect world, you could just call any service provider and be assured that the work you need done would be impeccably executed by a most congenial, competent individual. Unquestionably, you would be treated with respect; the service would be furnished by an expert in his field, who is highly responsive to client contacts; he/she would offer quality work at a reasonable price, and you would be dealt with honestly. In summary, your technician would be a customer-centered subject matter expert. As a 74-year-old senior citizen, this is the type of world I wish I lived in. SPOILER ALERT: We do not live in a "perfect world," so those of us who need to purchase services of any kind must be very discriminating in whom we hire. After dealing with several electrical technicians in my life, I have settled on Reza of Caliber Electric as my "go to electrician." I trust him implicitly! He embodies every quality you would expect in an electrician, if we lived in a perfect world. So, the next time you need an electrician for any job or project, be realistic: Trust Reza in a flawed world; you will be glad you did. read more

I highly recommend Reza at Caliber Electric! I needed a fuse replaced in my older electrical panel, and Reza came out right away. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, getting the job done quickly and at a very reasonable price. It's refreshing to find someone who is reliable, honest, and doesn't overcharge for their services. I truly appreciate his prompt response and excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to call Reza again for any electrical needs. Five stars all the way! read more

Very happy to have found Caliber Electric. Really good advice on what needed to be done on my job where others just said "replace everything" without investigating much, great work and fair price. read more

Had a problem with a breaker for our spa. Was not an urgent fix, but Derek from Caliber was out in couple hours. Got the breaker out. Because of the type of breaker, he did not have one on the truck, but explained my options. He would get it today or I can order off internet and maybe get cheaper. I had him get it. Job completed quickly. Great service. My previous electrician retired and did not know who to call. Caliber was a great choice. Will definitely use them again. read more

Simply the best!!!! Had a last minute issue and they accommodating us once again. These guys are just the most amazing humans ! Reza, Derrick and team. Thank you for being so solid and outstanding at what you do. Grateful we found you guys. read more

Reza was fantastic. He was able to make a same day repair. Was on time, very professional and incredibly kind. Thank you!

Reza was slippery and difficult to work with; they turned off our service until we paid in full, which was not due until final inspection. They insisted in trouble shooting a fixture which I told them had a burnt light bulb and wanted to charge 2 useless hours of their time; they replaced a breaker which would fix a problem, but the problem continued to occur, etc., etc. read more

Reza, the owner of Caliber Electric, is by far the most knowledgeable, kind, polite, humble and honest contractor I've ever worked with. He is a true problem solver who gives you peace of mind because he charges a fair price and never tries to take advantage of his customers (a rare quality in today's construction world). It's no surprise he has perfect 5-star ratings on Yelp! When I had an electrical issue in the bathroom of my rental property, another company came first, charged more, and still couldn't fix the issue but yet claimed it was repaired. I later called Caliber Electric and what a blessing that was! Reza arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem right away. He fixed it quickly and efficiently, all at a reasonable price. I was so impressed by his skills, honesty and professionalism. Thank you Reza for taking such good care of your customer and making my life one less stress to deal with. I really do appreciated! especially I have to deal with other stresses. I highly recommend Caliber Electric to anyone who needs excellent and reliable electrical service. read more

Reza and his team are exceptionally talented and able to do every job that was given to them. Reza is extremely patient, and communicated with me to educate me on the smallest job to the more complex jobs that we had given to them. read more

I came across this company by chance and after meeting Reza, the owner, I was immediately impressed. Obvious that Reza will always do the right thing, even when recommending not to do unnecessary work. Wow! His guys came out today and installed several ring floodlights. They did good clean work. ALSO, his quote was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this company highly and know I'll be working with them again. read more

As good as it gets. Reza is a class act, patient, and honest business owner. I used Caliber for the first time to retrofit 20 old recessed lights into modern LED lighting and also install a ring outdoor camera. Reza came out the same day for a quote and provided a reasonable and honest estimate. Derrick and Navid showed up the next day to do the project and they were thorough, cleanly, and cared about their work. Navid even took the time to point out to me that a light switch he was working on was slightly not level due to the wall actually being crooked - perfectionist. It is a pleasure working with a smaller, honest company that doesn't give off the "too big to care about you feeling". Caliber will now be the only electrician I ever need to call again. Thank you Reza and team! 5 stars. read more

They upgraded my electric panel at home to 240V for faster Tesla charging. The technician came on time, knew what to do and was honest about the scope of the job. Highly recommended! read more

Reza and his team are by far the most reliable, trustworthy, and competent electrician service providers anywhere. I know that seems like an overstatement, but after using numerous tradesmen, caliber is second to none. It takes a lot for me to actually write a review, and Reza and team always provide that extra bit to warrant one. Also, Reza has (on numerous occasions) advised me on better methods and products than what I was originally looking at/for. This is almost always done in opposition to his financial benefit. Which is why his honesty is second only to his professionalism and knowledge. Look no further everyone. read more

Reza is the best. I feel so fortunate to have found an amazing electrician. He's very understanding and is honest about his work. he's articulate and can explain what he is doing or why we need certain parts clearly. He's very careful and organized. He tries to come up with the best solution that fits your need. His worker that I have met is also very knowledgeable and lovely. He also only had good things to say about his boss. We had him run a new line for my Tesla charger and he coordinated with the city LADWP rep to make sure everything ran smoothly. Reza figured out the best way to run the line after seeing my place. It's been about a year and I have no issues with my new charging station. He also relocate our circuit breaker box and fixed some of the lines. It was very old and he reorganized all the lines and checked everything carefully. He also organized and relabeled everything too. I feel much safer thanks to him and his team. Now my mom also relies on him for electrical issues at her business. I can see why all the reviews are so good here. I have had only wonderful experience with Reza and highly recommend him and his team. read more

I have used a few other electricians throughout the years but after hiring Caliber Electric, I realized the other electricians did not compare to the expertise of Caliber Electric. I reached out to Reza to discuss installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. Reza spent a while explaining the different viable locations in my garage for the install, along with the Pros and Cons for doing the installation. I also mentioned an issue I was having with my dining room light since having it installed [the lights would flicker when the dimmer was on the highest setting]. He explained the issue and said he would send me a quote the following Monday [which he did]. Reza was very nice, extremely honest and professional. I wanted to get the dining room light fixed right away so I scheduled him to come out. One of his guys [Navid] came out to install an LED dimmer switch. He was just as nice, honest and professional as Reza. Because of the professionalism and honesty of this company, I walked around my house with Navid to show him other areas in my home that need additional outlets installed [my home is older and is lacking in the amount of outlets to accommodate today's multiple outlet needs]. I will definitely be hiring Caliber Electric for all my electrical needs. Don't make the mistake I made by hiring another company that's not as experienced as Caliber. read more

Caliber Electric - Electric panel - Electricians Near Me - West hills, California

Reza and his crew Sergio and Derrick were awesome from the initial consultation/estimate to the job. They were extremely professional, timely, and easy to reach. I hired Caliber Electric to install 2 chandeliers ,run romex to my deck for some outlets and install some led lights on my deck banister, and also run a circuit for a mini split I was going to install in my garage. They worked quickly and efficiently with what I thought was a full day job they finished in a half day. Not only was the work top quality but you could also tell Reza takes pride in his work. From wearing shoe covers to providing a umbrella for his apprentice working outside in 100 degree weather you can tell Reza just cares about every aspect of the job which I think is hard to find. His team Sergio and Derrick were also professional, easy to talk to and work with, and honestly just seemed like 2 very awesome guys. Even when installing the chandelier he was concerned about the quality of the glass even more than I was and attempted to clean individual parts when I said I thought it would be fine. Derrick and Sergio likewise had the same work ethic. I was very impressed. I was raised to always do a job to the best of my ability past the minimum and Caliber Electric is the same way. The icing is that his prices are very competitive compared to other quotes I got. Stop your search and hire Caliber. read more

I am extremely happy with my experience with Caliber Electric, from the very start to the very end, every step of the way was meticulously planned by Reza! I am compelled to leave as good a review as I can because Reza and his team provided such an amazing experience and offered extremely helpful advice in a easy-to-understand way. I am very grateful for their quality of service, level of professionalism/helpfulness, timeliness, and consideration. We are in pandemic times and this company adapted to that, he was wearing PPE and my family felt safe. He never used our bathroom, he limited time in the house, I got an electrical panel upgrade (I had an old and unsafe Federal Pacific panel https://www.angieslist.com/articles/are-federal-pacific-circuit-breaker-panels-safe.htm), and he planned our outage time (which was not even long) by weather and our schedule. He encouraged me to get other contractor quotes, and I did! Similar to car mechanics or plumbers, there are SO many out there dishonest and trying to rip me off like I'm stupid because I don't know the technical terms, & these competitors had 5-stars on Yelp too which is sad. Reza was the most honest AND responsive person, and provided options for me to consider, helping me not only solve my current problem but also planning my future needs to save me money down the road :) I would trust Reza with ANY job he does and I'm very glad I found Caliber Electric. Thanks Reza and team! read more

When the time came to upgrade my house's electric panel to 200v, we received a lot of eyebrow-raising estimates. Fortunately, we found Reza at Caliber Electric who helped navigate the process smoothly. Our panel was ancient and not installed to code, Reza pointed this out and further explained several other electrical red flags. After a cohesive game plan was formed, the team effortlessly installed a beautiful new panel, emergency shut off switch, coordinated with LADWP and even helped me avoid a huge headache with an unrelated contractor over-estimation. Reza and his team were punctual, reasonably priced, professional and friendly. They never oversold, pushed back or argued (even though my requests were eccentric) and always did the job with technical precision and grace. I'm definitely calling them for my next electrical job and recommending them to the neighbors!! Merci Reza joon! read more

Excellent service and response time! I had a circuit breaker go out on Friday night. Called Caliber on Saturday morning & left a voicemail not expecting to hear back. Within 30 minutes Reza called me! He was kind & patient on the phone & said he'd come over in a few hours. He texted me 30 minutes before his arrival and was on time. He assessed the situation and had to replace a light switch & wiring in my garage. He put in a new one & even relocated the garage door opener to match! The price was fair and overall a great experience! Highly recommended! read more

If I could give 100 stars I would, Reza and his team are truly the best! I had used other electricians in the area and all of them tried to upsell me and over charge, including one who said I needed to rewire my entire house. Fortunately I found Reza and he was incredibly professional, well priced, honest and the most helpful in terms of figuring out different issues both inside and outside of my home. He is the only electrician I call, and I love his team- they are truly great to work with and I cannot recommend them enough. Will only hire Caliber Electric. read more

I definitely recommend Caliber Electric! Reza responded quickly to my flickering circuit. His communications were quick and on target. He immediately diagnosed the problem at the breaker panel. He requested for me to send photos of the panel so he was able to have the right parts on the truck for his first response. I was impressed with his promptness and quick professional solution, so I asked him to take on a few more non-urgent electrical tasks. The tasks included installing emergency lighting, extending garage outlets, Ring light camera, bathroom fan. His sent his team Derrick and Navid. They took great care preparing the work area for safety and to prevent dust. They do great work and cleaned up afterwards including sweeping and vacuuming! THANKS! read more

I had a very special request from Reyza and his men. I needed them to install an electrical outlet in my backyard for a fountain I purchased. At first the task seemed daunting, but as the men problem-solved, the task happened quite quickly. Reyza and his workers are polite and respectful. They are extremely competent and I am pleased with the results. Even after me finding that an outdoor light was wobbly after the workers visited, Reyza came to the rescue and fixed the problem: no extra charge. I highly recommend Caliber Electric for their professionalism and warmth. read more

Reza is amazing. We had flashing lights in our kitchen and needed a bathroom fan fixed. He could have made us spend a lot of money on the fan but he changed the motor and fixed the existing fan. The flashing lights were just a bad dimmer. He knew exactly what was wrong as soon as he walked in our kitchen. If you want an electrician who can be trusted, show up on time and actually answer when you call, he's the guy for you. I couldn't recommend him more highly. When you meet him you'll see quickly what a genuinely good person he is. read more

The process has been as smooth as possible. We asked them to replace our main panel, install EV charger, and bring my outdoor wiring to code. They are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. He pulled the permit and it went through inspection with no issues. Even the inspector praised their work. I lost half of the house power the week after and contacted him, he came by on Sunday and texted and determined the problem was the transformer on DWP pole. We contacted DWP and they fixed the issue. His responsiveness and knowledge is unmatched. We highly recommend Reza and his team. read more

I couldn't have been more pleased with my service with Caliber. Another five star for Caliber Electric.
