Excellent vegan options. We tried the zoodles with pesto and ohhhh my the sauce & 'parm' was so good! Didn't even taste like nuts! So filling & flavorful! Smoothies were fabulous! So great to get something that everyone in the family can eat. We love the smoothies and the salads. I just have to remember to tell them of our families Brazil nut allergy as they use it as a vegan Parmesan. Even the soups are delicious. It is such a treat to find raw vegan foods served in a beautiful, artistic, and delicious manner. I enjoyed the pad Thai. They were out of the juice that u ordered so had my old staple of carrot, beet, Apple, lemon and ginger. Then for dessert I had the chaga bar that had seeds, oatmeal, chocolate, and chaga...yum. Next door, yet attached, were a few great stores, one being a store dedicated to Rudolph Steiner. They had a great selection of his books that I had never seen before. The first thing I told the server was my nut allergy. I asked if their Samurai bowl had any nuts in it - as the menu did not state that it did. She said no. I started eating it and felt really sick. The lady at the counter decided to check the ingridient list after I was having a reaction. She at first denied that she said there was no nuts - then she said she thought there was no nuts in the order. Usually vegan restaurants have accomodated people with sensitivities and allergies. If I had known the order directly had nuts, I would not have ordered it. They offered our money back and a gift card. Unfortunately this incident has made me lose trust eating out vegan and I will definitely not be coming back. Do not eat here if you have an allergy. This restaurant is irresponsibily with health and safety. This incident wrecked my immune system for a couple of days. I had swelling, itchyness and felt sick. Wicked Awesome! Can you say, "WOW"? I did, after stopping in for a smoothie and manicotti. My daughter suggested this spot when my husband and I were visiting and I was concerned that my eating habits were in a downward spiral, which happens on vacations. It was delicious with kalamata olives, fresh avocado slices, fresh tomato salsa, ground round type of tofu in what tastes like a cheese-tasting, chili sauce. It was tasty, fresh and satisfying. Too much romaine lettuce base; More topping and salsa would ideal. The real downside was the price with tax - $13.13 = expensive. The rest of the menu appears interesting and worth another visit, but with the prices the way they are, this is a "treat", and not a place I would regularly afford. read more

Another great experience at Rawthentic! Ordered the spinach manicotti (yep, again!! this thing is delicious!!) but also wanted to try something new on the menu. Asked one of the friendly workers for their recommendation and decided on the Thai Bowl, which included a bed of brown basmati rice, greens, carrots, peppers, alfalfa sprouts, and grilled Thai veggies. This bowl was very good! The flavours from the grilled veggies were plentiful and the salad portion was very much appreciated! Kept my stomach nice and satisfied which I admit is quite the challenge to accomplish! Service here is wonderful as it always is. Clean environment and great quality ingredients! Back for a second time and went for takeout. The lasagne poppers were similar to the manicotti with different flavours. Still delicious but I think I'd try something else or revert to manicotti next time. Totally inconsistent with regards to taste and size of item(s) ordered. One day it's a good portion size the next day it's half the size and taste totally different for that same item. Always out of items. Have been in multiple times and been told they ran out. The latest was they were out of rice. Out of rice at a vegan restaurant? I have given them multiple chances as I'm a strict vegan and I am limited to my food choices and every time over the last year or so I have been let down.
