We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and amenities like a loaner vehicle, etc. Our most recent stay was a different story. There are new owners who recently acquired the facility from some careless previous owners who had let the place go downhill. Many of the fun things we enjoyed before were in bad shape or just not working. The new owners apologized for the "mess" and assured campers that they are working on restoring the campground to it's former glory. They were working on several items that we noted, like the mini golf, and the abundance of sticker weeds throughout the park area. One thing I regretted about our stay was that the office chose to park someone directly next to us for our single night stay when there were very few occupants and many many sites to choose from. At the very least, they could have separated each camper with an empty space in between. I understand if they were super busy and had most sites occupied, but there was hardly anyone there and we suddenly had a direct neighbor. I'm hopeful that they will be able to turn things around. I plan to check back in with them when I pass through the area. Their pricing was less than the adjacent RV park, that did not seem to offer much more.

Clean and cute with all the little extra touches to make you feel like you are at a spa. We have a shower in our van but it's so nice to wash long hair in a "normal" shower every few days. This did not disappoint. The pet area has lovely grass that our dog appreciated too.

There is a small sign with orange reflectors on it, on the North side of the highway. The campground is about a mile up a gravel road, North of the highway. There are RV spots with 50 amp service and water, sewer. Pull thru or back in sites on gravel pads. No trees. Tent camping sites, shaded by trees. Vault toilets. It's a nice quiet place to camp. Lots of cattle and antelope around. Great place to watch those afternoon lightening storms that Wyoming is famous for! This site is on a working cattle ranch owned by the Latter Day Saints church. There are residences near by that house Missionary's from the church. They all work at Martins Cove, which has significant historical value to the church. The campground is $20.00 a night for RV's and $10.00 for tent camping. Go check out Independence Rock, Devils Gate and Martins Cove. They all have great historical value to the Westward expansion of our Country.

Each site has a picnic table. A lot of local attractions, if you are staying longer than one night. Sinclair gas station is across the street. If there were a way to give this place 10 stars, it would be an easy task and still not enough…read morestars. The phrases "picture perfect" and "like a postcard" are applicable. Breathtaking. Spiritual. Spectacular. Clean mountain air, crisp colors, pristine waters, stark rocky mountain terrain, tenacious plant specimens, and majestic animals. And yet, words truly do not do these amazing places justice. We saw bald eagles flying overhead, a moose wading knee-deep in a lake, and chipmunks. I was completely awestruck at every turn. I want to return to each of these places as often as possible for however many days I'm going to be bouncing around on this living planet. Wish I lived closer or was a hardier type of individual who could survive the harsh winters, but I'll have to be satisfied with visitation. Someone told me that I'd feel claustrophobic when I returned home, and they were 100% accurate.
