I'm not much of a coffee person but I've been to this shop a couple times for the WiFi while I am working at a camp that has no internet access. The staff was always friendly (as long as I made any sort of purchase before mooching off the free WiFi). The Monster cookies are great, crispy outside and soft in the middle.The owner made me and my friend who were in the shop feel like we were in a small town cafe where everyone knows each other. I am looking forward to continuing to come here for the great employees, atmosphere, food, and beverages. read more

Food and coffee were wonderful but I don't suggest staying. I asked for caramel in my drink twice but she ignored me both times so I just got a cup of frothed milk. As I was paying, she took the order behind us. I didn't even have a tip written down on the receipt yet. I shut the tv off (always turn it back on before I leave) because it was playing faux news and I was trying to have an important conversation with a friend. The owner came over and said not to turn her tv off because this is HER establishment and that she was a 911 dispatcher. (But currently works at a coffee shop so I don't see the correlation). If you want respectful service, you'd better go to dying deer or a dead person because they have better class than this place does. Seriously though- the foods not bad. Some of the best bagels around Cody but don't take that lightly. It's a small town so options are already limited. read more

We were driving through town and just happened to stop at this gem. You get some amazing coffee and great baked stuff and the coffee shop is really quaint with a warm decor and a bookcase to read some books. The staff at the cafe was really kind and even let me use the employee restroom when the guest restroom was bust We had cappuccino and americanos and a lemon bar. Everything tasted just great. I love this cafe. It is warm and inviting. Locals and visitors of Cody find themselves here for a steamy cup of joe, a specialty latte or a frozen mocha, made to order from fresh ground beans. And don't forget to get a giant cookie or bar to go with your java. I have to take most of it home with me. The staff has always been friendly and talkative every time I come in. I enjoy the iced coffee with sugar free Almond Rocha during the summer and pumpkin spice latte, extra hot for the colder months. This place is amazing! We stayed 2 nights across the street at the Irma and could walk to this coffee shop. It was so good the first day, we went back the next morning! I got a different latte each time - they have so many flavors - and both were amazing! The homemade cinnamon rolls and the danish were delish. I have to give a shout out to the owner (at least I think she's the owner!). She overheard my husband and I talking about how we have no bowls and would have to buy some at the store, so she brought us a ton of plastic spoons & paper bowls so we didn't have to make an extra stop. Went in for coffee this morning and watched owner Judy rudely harassing a patron for using a gift card that was given to her friend. Very unprofessional! I will no longer visit Rawhide Coffee Shop Cody WY. Even though I have $20 plus dollars balance on my gift card. Furthermore, the Coffee I received was McDonald's quality at best with way worst customer service. And pastry's were very stale and old. Do not purchase gift cards cause they will not be honored. read more

Then you see the rawhide, as you enter you see the dedication the owner has put in to make it a homey stop. We only tried the muffins, but the muffins were so good. I had a chocolate chocolate muffin, and my boyfriend had a blueberry muffin. Both were so moist and flavorful. Service was great. We took them up on their offer to warm up the muffins, which made the muffins even better. And they served the muffins on pretty little white plates. I wish that we'd had the chance to try more of their homemade goodies. read more

Leaving a two-star review because of order inaccuracies. I ordered a caramel granita, 20oz with no whip cream (as it makes my stomach extremely upset for some reason) as well as a breakfast bagel sandwich. I was instead charged for a 24oz granita and my drink had whipped cream on it. The coffee itself was okay, if a little bland. The breakfast sandwich was also extremely bland and had hardly any cheese on it (if it even /had/ cheese, I couldn't tell). All in all I wouldn't recommend going here if you plan on ordering food with your coffee or if you have any dietary restrictions. read more

Love this little coffee coffee shop. Came back again since last year and it's still here and still good. They are knowledgeable about coffee if you need something other than just a drip. They have free wifi and two tables out front to sip coffee and watch the Main Street of Cody. I had an iced latte and it was very good. Several people were eating what looked liked a nice small meal, but I have only had the coffee. I stop here even in the afternoons for a cup of coffee since they stay open late during peak season. They closed at 7:00pm yesterday. There is also room to meet and talk to fellow travelers in the shop, but the farther back you go in the shop it did get a little warm. That's when I moved to an open table out front and enjoyed it thoroughly. read more

Good breakfast casserole. Excellent Chai. Friendly Barista. Great place to grab a morning cup. We tried the breakfast casserole which was very tasty. My only complaint was there was two of us and we got our casseroles three minutes apart due to them being heated up in the microwave separately. If I hadn't heard them talking about how long to nuke them I wouldn't have known they were heated up that way. The casserole itself was filling, fresh and homemade. This is an excellent coffee spot right in the heart of downtown Cody. In a town where there's a plethora of places on Yelp rated as average to well below average, Yelp didn't let me down on this place. The place is extremely spacious with multiple couches and tables to find a place to sit down. The drinks are great as are the pastries and bagels. The owner was taking a batch of fresh baked cookies out of the oven and her daughter was working the counter when I was there. The prices are reasonable for a coffee place and it's a unique change of pace from Starbucks and other typical chains. For a small family-owned business, this coffee shop hit all the right notes with me and I recommend checking it out for your caffeine fix while in Cody. read more

I am a Starbucks devotee but this local coffee house beats Starbucks by leaps and bounds. I was on my way to Yellowstone and needed WIRELESS ACCESS and yes I found it here! To my surprise it was also this cool place that had great coffee, hand-picked gift items and souveniers, a great atmosphere and friendly people.
